in 2013 woodward didn't go for klopp instead went for an old man moyes. in 2014 lvg like all the other exciting young club managers with new fresh ideas were not good enough so he lands mou instead in 2016, and didn't think to check why he was sacked.

Afrodoc, what's your status now? You usually choose your sentences carefully and take care not to take a hard stance on issues.

I believe JM is the major problem rather than the players. Of course some of the players are not United standard but even our so called stars and talented players are not playing up to their potential. More worryingly there is no cohesion in the midfield and the attack and these professional footballers sometimes play the ball like they are seeing it for the first time.

Having said all that i am not in support of sacking JM unless there is a very attractive candidate with the right philosophy waiting in the wings. The hope for now is that he (JM) somehow makes an adjustment in the style of the team, even if it is just a little more attacking mindset. Also all the people draining resources like Darmain, Blind, Fellaini should be let go and replaced with people who are comfortable with the ball at their feet and have some pace.

We need a young and vibrant manager in the mode of Tuchel, Nagelsmann. Combine their philosophy with the club's deep pockets and we might see a return to glory. If either of those 2 or someone similar becomes available we should cut ties with JM, if not then we continue with him and pray that he hears the cries of "Attack! Attack! Attack!" that fill Old Trafford every match day.

And that's because of Lukaku and the fact that Martial and others got more clinical. I don't just understand how Mou changed his tactics to the point that things got this bad.

I am not so sure he knows what he is doing. When he is begging Fellaini to sign a new contract and he is saying he can't force any player out of the club i doubt him.
Where i can't fault him though is his buys who have generally been good. You can compare this to the Moyes and LVG transfer windows which were wasted. His buys have been good but he has not always stregthened in the right positions.
He also appears to have lost some of the inventiveness and courage he had as a young manager. The 04-07 Mourinho would be challenging for the title with this team i have no doubt but this JM looks old and worn out.
