I just streamed stuff on periscope using RN 4X for 2 hours and 30min, battery dropped from 100 to 63. It didn't heat up at all. My new live streaming phone. 1 Like

fibonacci2526: I surely would.... MTK would grow better and is still growing...... I would love to dip in toes in MTK again, once the smartphone design takes another dimension and our chinko pipu follows in the direction of design.... |

Mfunkynation:It depends on the icon pack you use. I selected Oxygen OS icon pack then chose the 5×5 layout in Home screen and recents in phone settings. Most themes support it but not all. |

Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by henry007(m): 5:11pm On Feb 24, 2018 |
Ebubemg: For people who like the S pen, they have to wait a long time for Note 9. S9 would be compact sef. S9+ is more like it. |

Lexusgs430: If note 8 can have a decent price, maybe same for S9+ price would sit at a modest 300-320. |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Lexusgs430: 5:28pm On Feb 24, 2018 |
henry007: S9 modestly sits @ 320K Note 9 would unmodestly sit @ 420K - 450K..... |

Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by henry007(m): 6:53pm On Feb 24, 2018 |
lanre316: That's interesting. I don't find IR blaster very useful coz I don't think I would interrupt what I'm doing on my phone to open remote app. I only use it for testing testing. Do you have electronics with missing/damaged remotes? |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by henry007(m): 6:55pm On Feb 24, 2018 |
Lexusgs430: If Samsung crosses that $1000 mark, people would switch to Google Pixel. They're mindful of it. |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Nobody: 6:57pm On Feb 24, 2018 |
lanre316:Interesting..... And nice. The other day I was using my phone to control my tv and some guys around me were very surprised. They thought i was using a very expensive smartphone, not knowing it costs less than camon cx |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by lanre316: 6:59pm On Feb 24, 2018 |
henry007: None of my remotes are missing or damaged. But I find it really cool and convenient to control all my remote-controlled electronics from my phone. Additionally I find it real fun to control my friend's TV or AC or even a public restaurant's TV channels from my phone, just for the fun of it |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Nobody: 7:05pm On Feb 24, 2018 |
henry007: You can pin a remote to your home screen. I once had a situation where the tv remote was missing during a very important event. Scores of people were gathered and the big screen tv could not be turned on because no buttons on the body of the tv. The person who mounted the tv forgot to come with the remote. I simply brought out my phone, and turned on the panasonic tv. Guys were like wow . 5 Likes |
