He had said it was unfair to Alampasu

I think it's my opinion and i have a very valid reason for saying it was unfair to Alampasu.

Pls what information are you talking about, a post said Trabelsi would joined Maduka and i made comment on it why Alampasu is being left.

Another post came saying Rohr will attached trainer to all the keepers and i modified my comment,so what a fuss and what Sir forgiveness got to do with it,that's my biggest headache.

It will be good if he start from the bench, onazi is not making trabzonspor starting line up this days, trabzonspor is not up to a average team, even stoke city has better players than trabzonspor, that says a lot,but who am I to say that? Gernot rohr will decide

Please forgive me if I am mistaken.

Are you comparing an EPL team Stoke to a team in the backwaters of Europe Turkish league.

My wish is that first, we should always out play our opponents. That is why I do not like our team on the backfoot.

You don't always have to outplay your opponent to win. I cannot for now wish Argentina well until after we defeat them in the WC.

Pls try and read my original comment then you would understand better coz sometimes am always lost here,i thought we are here for football analysis and discussion.

I think am not Rohr who said inactive Alampasu is among the five keepers is considering for WC,pls be logical on this,am i Rohr who named him,so what a fuss.

It seems some don't even understand why we are here, takes things personally and always emotive and sentimental in their thinking as if we are here to fight.

Pls am very sorry to say this, have been following Eagles since 1980 so i just don't talk or saying anything for sake of it.

Ask icon4s or goldfish80, am always against Alampasu calling cos i believe so much on Akpeyi until Argentina match changed my mind.

I will not deceive you i don't rate Alampasu.

sure you have a right to make an opinion.
I was only questioning your seemingly premature judgment.

I'm sorry for the comparison. It was your use of "not fair to Alampasu" that brought forgiveness to mind.. as if it's a case of Rohr's play of favoritism etc.

Kog45:
No wahala but i believe. as a fan I have every right to take a critical look at the team,so nobody business,my opinion doesn't disturb your opinion that warrant 'you are talking like forgiveness',that was just the painful part of your comment.

It was after i made my comment that TheSuperNerd made a post and i modified my comment based on it so what else again.

Sir KOG45 let me add that I've always been a fan of Alampasu. And I had always wanted him to start ahead of Ezenwa, Akpeyi etc since we had the GK crisis as a result of Ikeme's situation.
But hasn't Alampasu been invited since Enrico was appointed? (of course, I'm not even considering Agu a real GK coach lol)

Yes..

You can not beat playing regularly.

Maduka trains with the first team regularly. Infact, he was one of the keepers that went with the first team players to their winter camp. He has also made the bench for the team A.

The difference is that he is constantly playing, you can't beat that.

Maduka Okoye didn't and has not made the bench for the team A. Nada.

Besides, comparing an under graduate with primary 6 pupil because one is practicing how to use biro everyday while one school is on striker sounds ridiculous.

While we still deliberate on our GK issue, Antoine greizman just scored 4 goals in a league match for Atletico Madrid.

How I wish our strikers were banging goals like this. This is what you call WC form.

Honestly, I think we need to raise the bar higher for our attackers. It shouldn't be just enough to feature regularly.

More importantly, you need to be productive in front of goal.

Maduka was on the bench for Fortuna Dusseldorf in their game with Standard Liege in January. January 9 to be precise.

They have both trained with the first team.

Maduka is learning and practicing what he has learnt. Alampasu is older and has not kept any game this year.

Alampasu is not an established keeper, he is still learning too.

Why burst this bubble bro? Someone who claims he wants the best for the team wants us go with an inactive goalkeeper just because he trains with the first team once in a while, then we sideline those who train with the first team and at the same time, augment the training with playing for the team B consistently. People sef

Now, I know you were talking about Alampasu.

Oga, don't come here and give false information with straight face. 'because he trains with the first team once in a while...a keeper that never makes the match day squad even in cup games..... Blah blah.....

How do you know these and where are you getting your informations from?

Oga, Alampasu's club has promoted him to the first team. Meaning he has graduated from tata U18 level to professional level. He is not in the same level with Okoye who is still an Amateur and playing with Amateurs. Gosh!...

Besides, Maduka Okoye is not playing with the team B though he has played only thrice for them this season. He is best an academy player...

Now, one who is clearly unbiased and devoid of sentiments will never equate an academy, kindergaten and amateur player with a professional player with a team A in one of the top leagues in the world.

Even if Maduka Okoye plays 100 times a week for the U18 team, it's inconsequential and baseless.

Just say you want Maduka Okoye in the team because of so so so reasons. Chikena! Nobody go kill you rather than bring sentiment and falsehood to prove your points.

Look below and acknowledge and admit you falsely, ignorantly or intentionally lied.

What has Alampasu done recently?

A man that has played exactly zero games this season.. How can you even make excuses for that?

If we are looking for inactive keepers, we should go and beg Enyeama, at least he has valuable experience.

Maduka is 18 years old.

Alampasu is 21 years

3 years gap...

Alampasu is at a stage where he should be gaining experience even in the lower leagues but he is idle.

Maduka at 18 years is already getting a few games for the Team B and playing for the under 19 side.

If Alampasu can get active, then we can talk. For now, i can not rate him above an active keeper.

Uhmmmm... What is going on here? undecided

Abeg ooooo.... Make we no turn am to Alampasu vs Maduka biko....

See ehn... Me I rate Dele Alampasu very highly oooo... In fact, I still consider him slightly better than Uzoho in terms of "raw talent" but thing is, Uzoho seems to have overtaken him for now on the national front and even in club football (and he's developing at an fine rate) but Rohr still rates Alampasu too just as he rates Uzoho which is why he still talks about him in interviews when the GK issue is brought up.

In the long run and for the long term benefits of the team, I forsee a huge healthy battle between Uzoho and Alampasu for the Super Eagles no 1 shirt. Both have the height too apart from their special talents. Throw in rising talents like Akpan David udoh, Nwokolor and a few others like Okoye and one or two unknowns and we may be in for a new rise of quality gks for this new generation.

On Maduka Okoye, he is the newest kid on the block... Yet to experience life in the GWG camp so he is behind Alampasu on that front but truly he is on Rohr's radar but certainly not as one to compete for the no.1 slot ahead of Russia. Mbanu naa.....Abeg... Let us not misunderstand one another here on this GK issue. Biko I am begging una.... sad

For the future, the likes of Alampasu, Uzoho, Okoye, Nwokolor, Akpan David Udoh, etc will provide a fantastic pool of quality goalies with one or two among them hopefully becoming world class or near world class goalies....

But right now.... For this moment... We have the world cup in sight... And Rohr's mind is not made up yet but Akpeyi and Ezenwa are in the picture for now not forgetting Ajiboye.
And from among the talented rookies we have Uzoho and Alampasu in the picture too. Rumors of Maduka Okoye still lingers.....

Anything about the goalies is with respect to Russia right now..... Plsss take note. This is why it seems Rohr will not stretch himself so much but concentrate on the chosen options like Akpeyi, Ezenwa and Uzoho.... With Alampasu and Ajiboye also in the picture.

In the official provisional list of 35 for Russia, Rohr is expected to name 5 goalies abi? (I no dey talk of list for march friendlies ooo)

So let us limit ourselves to the five Rohr has his mind on. It is from among these five Rohr will pick his final three GKs.

Who are these five?

- Daniel Akpeyi

- Ikechukwu Ezenwa

- Francis Uzoho

- Dele Ajiboye

- Dele Alampasu

Outsider is Maduka Okoye coz of the rumors which may he true... EOD.

Let us not turn it into GK A vs Gk B battle... We just want the best 3 for now from among them for the sake of the world cup. Thank you
