Sorry about your wife OP. The scan result says she has a pregnancy co-existing with fibroid.Yes fibroid is a threat to pregnancy however, once it has happened, patient should book pregnancy early and should ensure she is seen by a specialist (Obstetrician) for proper antenatal care. The baby can be carried to term successfully with the issues of fibroid in pregnancy anticipated and properly managed.In the case of your wife, the scan result says there is an 8-10weeks gestational sac with no embryo in it.This means the pregnancy is not viable. I will however advice you have a repeat scan at LUTH as a second opinion (you cant trust all scan results as ultrasound scan is operator dependent). She should be managed there. Wishing you and your wife the best.

On the contrary a lot of doctors have legible handwriting . Just some archaic ones have ds terrible handwriting. Most times the fact that u have a lot to write makes them write that way. Especially when on rounds with their consultant and he's dictating, he's expected to write everything d boss says down without missing a word hence the need to write that way due to the speed at which he has to write. I'm a nurse anyway but working them as a team makes me understand this fact.

Ask any nurse or other paramedics they will give u ds reason besides even I n my colleagues n other paredics write ds way except in a calmer situation d good thing though is dt we can all read n interpret whatever we write whichever way it is written. Lol

I think he is just trying to sample opinions and possibly see if anyone has encountered such before and know how they dealt with it.

Maybe you should have asked questions before throwing insults.

What if OP got the scan results without knowledge or consent of his 'wife' ?
What if the owner is not his wife ?
What if the op plans to use the scan for malicious purposes ?
Have you been able to match the clinical status of the lady with the scan results ?
If the OP eventually acts on advice given here, how is he assured that it is sound and from a qualified medical practitioner ?

Diagnosis and management are done remotely, agreed. But only when patient confidentiality and identity is preserved and standard of care is met.
Those conditions have not even been remotely satisfied in this case.
