Hmm. I was honestly unaware that Ahmed Musa has a lot of fan in this forum. Unfortunately, you guys might be left a little disappointed on this one. I think Musa burned his bridge with Rohr when he declined to be the assistant captain, after Mikel was made the permanent captain. I don't see him going to Russia with Rohr unless there's an order from the above ... and there should be. After all, this is Nigeria we're talking about O pari Humility017: |

I have never liked his game tho. I mean, even after the brace he scored against Argentina, I still didn't rate him that highly ... there's something about his game that frustrates da heck outta me O pari tbaba1234: |

Then I personally think you don't follow current affairs of late. Just go to Ahmed Musa's IG page and see who was at his base about a week ago then inform us. Icon79: 11 Likes |

Hmm. OK, maybe all has been settled. However, you don't take the actions of oyibo people on face value tho. Many of them would smile with you ... wine and dine you then stick you a rugged one on the back. Trust me, I learned that the hard way O pari Dedebanky85: 1 Like |

The Egyptian league is not as bad as you guys are making it seem! It is probably the most respected and best league from Africa. The same league where the legendary Egyptian goalkeeper spent his career and he was still class even after coming out of retirement, Ramadan sohbi came straight from Al Aly to stoke city and he dosent look out of place in the league. Ajayi of two years ago is not the same now. he's experienced, scored goals, won cups, became the best player of arguably the best team and league in Africa! That's not a small feat, most importantly he improved his game in such a short time. He made caf team of year, yes he's not the best striker Africa has, but he's the best striker playing in Africa. From his recent games I watched He's a complete forward, he's very good in the air, effective on the wings, good movement, decent technique, super hardworking and he's very strong and fast! He's a goal scorer and a creator. Most important he's Team player! never gives defenders a moment of peace. The friendlies will be a chance to show the stuff he's made of! I know I'd prefer him to ideye! 4 Likes |

Ajayi wey never kick one ball for SEs na him some people think go displace Ighalo. It's either he grabs the only slot for the 3rd CF(that is, if rohr is considering taking 3 CFs) or wait till post world cup. 8 Goals in 30 games in Egypt(Moroof comes to mind) is good but not enough to convince someone like me... |

AIG07:8 goals and 9 assists in 23 games in Al Ahly Egypt l guess. Let's wait until the friendlies though, l like lghalo, but is lghalo a consistent finisher? lghalo is good but he is the only true no 9 in the team, and he is not the most effective under pressure. Ajayi could be a good substitute for him, if Ajayi proves himself in the friendlies. 2 Likes |

AIG07: Egypt not Tunisia Sir.. But honestly, what some people here don't understand is that Ajayi callup was more of a formality.. He made the CAF XI(not on merit self) and is in good form in Egypt. If Rohr didn't call him up,the Nigerian media might start criticizing him.. One thing is for sued though,if Ajayi doesn't impress well enough in camp,he mayn't even make d 30 man list... Chidi Nwakali was invited last year and some people said he was d solution to our overdependence on Mikel.. where is Chidi now?? Rohr already has the list of at least 80% of d players going to Russia.. save for the GK role,he might just b looking for backups for d other roles.. |

No sir, that's not exactly what I said. I said that if Junior Ajayi is as good as advertised then Musa might be the striker to miss out, based on the fact that he hasn't really started any games for the team recently. However, I added that the Nigerian factor would ensure that Musa is included in the team, come hell or high water. O pari andrew444: |

Danielnino00:Ajayis callup was deserved! Nothing like formality. If gernot could give nwakeame a chance why not ajayi? Kayode won the MVP in the Austrian league he was invited and given his chance. Nwakeame won MVP he was invited and given his chance, so why not ajayi? 3 Likes |

Icon79: He doesn't need/have to displace a striker. He will be the 3rd CF if he makes a strong impression. If he doesn't, good for his experience and the already complete team. |
