He is opening up Rivers and building roads to rural communities just like Udom is doing. Rivers already has more companies than most states in Nigeria exception of lagos. Trans Amadi alone beats most states. What rivers state needs is what wike is doing beautifying the state and building roads for those industries already there which Amaechi failed to do. Have you driven on elelwon road of recent? wike is gradually giving the state the feel of a mega city it deserves.
I love wike he is very popular here in Akwa ibom, I love Udom too.

I like to speak with figures go to NBS and look up Rivers state. After Lagos the most viable state in Nigeria is rivers facts dont lie. if Wike is doing such a terrible job why is rivers state economy 2 in the country?

I didnt say roads are the only thing rivers need. i said he is making the state more liveable, part of a place being liveable is infrastructure. roads is part of them. now there is a pleasure park where families can relax. the biggest mall in west africa will open in portharcout in a few months time.
Recently portharcout hosted the African wrestling championship, that attracted the world attention. it was successful. the world is taking note that the place is safe for business, those little things count.

This is Community Comprehensive Secondary School, Nto Osung, Ekpenyong Atai 1, Essien Udim LGA. It is owned by the government of Akwa Ibom State. The school has been abandoned to nature for decades. why should a state even start 'creating' jobs in the civil service that would later blow up the recurrent expenditure?

My fantasy idea . here's what I have
The first photo illustrates the colonial avenues which I think should be demolished . The other 3 photos illustrate what I think should be the possible major avenues . In this plan, the slate would be wiped clean. Absolutely everything demolished . Freehold landownership abolished, and all lands would be owned by the government. landowners would be compensated. land should be only sold in large quantities for real estate ,agriculture and commercial usage.
Inside each of those boxes are communities or towns built in grid . So,there are 10 towns or communities in the Akwa ibom city , each having a population of 100,000 to 150,000. Each community has a Hospital,5 high schools and 5 elementary schools , 1 recreational center , 1 Church ,1 Shopping plaza or mall, 2 police stations ,1 university Campus ,1 Library,2 banks, 1 cemetery, 3 parks , . multiply each town by 10 . this means that Akwa ibom city has 20 banks ,100 Highschools , 10 Hospitals , 10 Libraries .

The capital or city center is connected by train to the airport to the seaport area (commercial district sort of city center too ) and the beach area (entertainment and recreational) district .in this plan, Every existing thing as you know them would be totally demolished and rebuilt . This means for example ,there would be no such thing as local government, Ibeno local Government or village, Ibaka seaport , or Ikot Epkene town,etc . Totally brand new system . A radical transformation.

If only we have people like you running a state in this shit of a country where mediocrity is normal.
