Thank you ma'am for this detailed explanation, late last year, i started having 34 cd compared to the max of 29cd,i started vitex, d two cycles i used it and stopped at ovulation, i had 28cd each.. So i i read abt its effect on LH, i stopped.. But prolactin increased again

So true my sis, I get frustrated whenever I go to premier, I only got the fastest attention in December when I went there on emergency. I'll continue with Dr Essien and prolly register with st Lukes hospital also, passed there for the 1st time on Sunday, clean hospital.

Licorice is phytoestrogen,it will help 2 induce ovulation but it take time 2 leave ur body 4 progesterone 2 take over,n it toxic effect on d uterus is high.dat is y it is advice u 2 take on cd3 -7 like clomid.so it is not good 4 low progesteron but high LH.cheers

ma pcos people have high Lh which in turn makes them not ovulate, if you don't ovulate your progesterone level would be low because it's corpus leuteum the stuff left over after ovulation by the follicle that tells your body to keep producing progesterone and also thicken the lining.... So if pcos mamas can balance the high lh and puts it In same range as fsh, it would help them ovulate and progesterone would be okay.

Also vitex increases Lh if you Google clomid and vitex you'll see where it's written that you shouldn't take clomid and vitex together because clomid boosts fsh to produce more and mature follicles while vitex increases Lh so it's counter productive... Anyway that's my own opinion Sha.... Pcos people don't have issues with progesterone but issues with ovulating because of high lh
