this ear phone thing is a menace and when I c people with it in public, I just feel pity 4 them cos they oblivious of their surroundings. They get lost in their music. Again, a person who isn't used 2 train vibrations wouldn't even no its train vibrations. Now add earphones at maximum volume 2d mix...disaster

Do you think a train is like a bus that stops anyhow and accelerates anyhow. Even in developed countries once a train horns for you and you don't quickly leave the rail line it crushes the person because even if you apply the breaks it takes time to stop.

I thanks Allah d day I escaped from d train with earpiece on, since day day I stop using Earpiece on road, expect inside lousiest bus.

So unfortunate, don't know why some people always wear ear phone on the road especially on rail way track, that's absurd, assuming she was not wearing the ear phone, this unfortunate incidence won't have happened.

To be rather safe than sorry.. I recommend using only one ear to listen to your songs when you are outside/going out/busy roads while using d other ear to Listen to d environment.

What a gory sight!! After all the years in school, then trying to serve her fatherland and she was crushed by train by act of forming..somebody was trying to save her life by touching her, but she snubbed the man. Toor!! May her soul rest in peace.

She wanted to cross to the other side where they board oshodi bus, she was using earphones so she did not hear the horn fron the train,
it seems the earphone was so loud people there said a man pulled her back but she told the man to leave her alone, she did not know why the man was calling her for, she was rush to the hospital by a jeep own by the NURTW chairman.

But saidly we lost her this evening. May her soul rest in peace.

May her soul rest in peace. I am amazed that train is killing people in Nigeria. In a civili zed world there will be a barrier before the train pass to prevent people from crossing. I don't believe her death is ordinary. The right leg was severely brutalised. Even if she survive the accident ,the leg will be amputated. God have mercy on her soul.

It's a pity she died out of foolishness. The other day,I was at a friend's office and the lady selling close to him was away. I decided to help her attend to these kids doing jamb lesson. I was attending to one and asking him what he wanted but the earpiece in his ears didn't allow him hear me. I asked him again and he answered me rudely... That's how most of them block their ears on the road and won't hear you when you horn at them. I don't know how people manage to use earpiece in public places and disregard their safety. I dont understand why people get so arrogant on the road.i am not really a fan of earphones usage on the road,it is painf to see that her stubborness has cost her her life
