Are you saying playing for university is good for national team cos i remember Emenalo was playing for university of Boston as a student but that was even before US 94.

After he left university he joined Moleenbeek through Keshi link and later had his contract terminated and went to regional league in Germany equivalent of division four before he emerged from nowhere and made the team.

My point is this there are some players coaches stick with irrespective of performance at club level in national team.

I know if Rohr is a local coach a lot would have question continuous invitation of Agbo Uche, this is a player that had not played a single minutes even in friendly.

I know Rohr as a local coach inviting Akpeyi would have been tagged a $10k bribe coach but as a foreigner he know what he is doing as if being a black man is a curse.

That's was not even the issue but why berating local coaches just cos of Gabriel whereas we have some foreign coaches that have made some questionable decision and we always find excuses for them

Truly the foreign coaches are the best and far better but the way some always come hard on our coaches without proof, like collecting 10k dollars before making WC,acts as agents, forgetting Westerhoff and Bonfrere Jo brought this to our system.

Well Stephen Okechukwu Keshi won highest trophy in Africa which his Afcon and made 2nd round at WC that made him all time best Nigeria coach if we want to based it on time spent compared to Westerhoff 5 years

I wish Rohr surpass this achievement cos anything short of quarter final at WC with this talented team would not be good enough cos am seeing some proposing lifetime contract,a good WC performance would do the talking and i wish my great eagles well and Rohr.

Hahahahahah! I think say dem say oyinbo no dey collect bribe!? grin

Westerhoff and others white coaches too were.. grin

I do not need to ask coz it's obvious. You don't want him get injured while repping the Club that's paying him week in week out because of the World Cup - once in 4 Years Competition?!

You should be happy he's getting Minutes on the Pitch week in week out, Coz he's gonna get fitter and sharper, and the Form gonna be a huge Bonus to the Eagles in Russia.

If he loses his Shirt in the starting XI while not featuring on every Match Day, will you be happy?! We should be encouraging the Lads to be getting Minutes, instead looking for flimsy Excuse to justify their non-inclusion in the starting XI or Match Day Squad.

totally at parallel with what i had in my mind but since you know you think what is in my mind continue

Just finished watching the Rangers vs Enyimba match on NTA. The kind headache Wey I get now ehn. Besides what's up with the players getting in the referee's face? Even some officials tried this especially after the match. Can't we respect ourselves for once? undecided . A bunch of 'old papa youngees' disgracing themselves.

. Mehn I was disappointed. The game was too rough especially coming from Rangers players. At least Enyimba tried with their passes(this impressed me) but time wasting and unnecessary kicking of the ball into space(Rangers) just killed off the game. Overall to me,it was a typical NPFL match to me: Very little tactics and 90% brutality. They almost pushed the Ref at a point.

. I was amazed at the lack of respect and too much aggressiveness. I've never been a fan of aggressive football. Little wonder just few of them get to the big clubs. They lacked professionalism. A GK took almost 10mins getting off the pitch just cos he didn't want to leave even when he knew he couldn't continue and the Ref could barely do anything. It got to a point(dying minutes) and I was praying for the Ref to give at least two players Red cards each so that they'll be calm. grin

Oliseh on Fortuna Sittard: ''There has to be some respect and gratitude. They are practically trying to demonize the coach. I have been called a terrorist. I am not happy with the owner. I have a problem with the way Işıtan Gün runs the club. One day I came into the dressing room and there was someone I did not know. I asked: "Who are you?" He told me his name. "I am the new player." I did not know anything about it. I had no idea if he was right footed or left footed, midfielder or goalkeeper. The players are really hardworking. They are hungry. I have a good relationship with them. I want to go back [to Fortuna Sittard]. I want to be champion. I want to finish my work. We also want to be champions; also for my players."

Reports in Portugal say Wolverhampton Wolves and Nantes are looking to activate Awaziem's release clause of 16 million Euros at the end of the season.

Where do you want Awaziem next year? In the English Premier league or Ligue 1.

I made this post last year November and I can see that we're still talking down the quality of EPL, when in the real sense of it y'all ain't got nothing on Komekn, so long as we have this much players from the EPL.

I can see we've all giving into the not totally truthful assertion that anything English is mediocre and average, including their music, a country where the likes of Adele, Tinnie tempah, Stormzy, Sade, Seal, Lemar, Olly Murs, Emeli Sande and the rest come from.

junnyjake:
I've seen people coming up here and blabbing all they can about the EPL being an over hyped Mediocre league.

Wait a minute, without England, what kind of players would you have in your National team??

Just take a look....

Carl Ikeme: if not for his illness, he's the number 1 candidate in the post for us. He plays his football in England.

Ekong: Surprised?? He was a youth player at Tottenham Hotspurs, he and Harry Kane were mates, he spent a large part of his development in London. Is he one of the starters in your team?

Aina: is a Londoner, we all know that, many of us here consider him an upgrade to the 'experienced Elderson.'

Mikel: Your captain, with whom you can't win a game without, Chelsea wasn't part of his success story were they?

Iwobi: I seriously do want you to tell me Arsenal is club based in Azerbaijan, he's been with them since he was five, how would he have developed to a player you all love to watch without the education he received at the Emirates.

V.Moses: He's one of your favorite players right, can you remind me where he plays? I seem to have forgotten.

Iheanacho: All we would have been hearing about that kid would have been, "That boy was a star during the U-17s, where is he? had he not made a move to Mancity to develop his talent.

Ndidi: How many matches has he played for the Eagles?? Has he always play the full 90 mins?? And why is that?

Musa: Although, many of us won't really support his continuous call ups to the team(myself inclusive) but he's invited by the way, he's still in England, last I checked.

Ighalo: This man didn't get a call up while in Udinese or Granada, until when he was tearing down the championship and premiership with goals, making him an all time goal scorer for his club. Who's the top 9 in the present eagles team? Uh, tell me?

Now, close your eyes and imagine us playing without those players listed and tell me in all honesty why you think the League is just nothing but a hyped mediocre league despite about 87% of your best players currently play there or have developed there.

These are not just members of the team but also undisputed starters.
