AyoPrudence: Transcripts only from your school. If the Wes Evaluated one has a copy of the one from your school, that is fine too. |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by AyoPrudence(m): 5:00pm On Mar 15, 2018 |
jnyuwa02:okay. Let me explain better. I requested my transcript to be sent to WES from school, which was evaluated to a 4.0 CGPA scale and a copy of that was sent to me. That copy now is what I intend attaching to the client information with my SOP, hope it's not a problem? |

Bosses, for online application for master's program in Canadian universities. .they keep mentioning unofficial transcript. ..can I use a collation of my result with HOD signature and stamp as the unofficial transcript |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by iwriterng(m): 5:20pm On Mar 15, 2018 |
Josh1996: You can "pay" your school exam officer to help reprint your results from 100L to 500L. Have it signed by the exam officer and the HOD. Then scan as a single document. This should suffice for evaluation purpose before sending the hardcopy to the school. |

Hello everyone. Please I have all my funds in fixed deposit which I opened like 7 months ago for this purpose. All deposits into the FD came from my personal account. Now I want to apply for my study permit. Should I transfer the fund or some of it from my FD into my savings account or should I just leave it in my FD and submit all documents to proof the funds in it? Please note that I was denied last year for unexplained lump sum deposits. |

It means they consider candidates with a cgpa above 3.25 on a scale of 5.0 by my calculation. Okattamgbee: |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by Frankrobbn1: 7:52pm On Mar 15, 2018 |
10shuare:10shuare, Did you order for your GCMS Notes? Since your sponsor is no way related to you. Third Party sponsorship must show commitment towards financing your studies in Canada by paying full tuition and transferring funds into your personal/dorm account for your living expenses, this way your sponsor has proved to be a credible one before a visa officer and must certify the visa officer that funds will also be made available for the subsequent year of study. Third party sponsorship, must prove that aside sponsporing you, all financial obligations will be meet, i.e by writing convincingly that sponsporing your studies in Canada won't be a burden to their business, family and personal welfare. Sponsor should write convinincly why he/she is spending so much on you to further your education abroad, having that similar programs are offered here in Nigeria and at a cheaper rate in favour of your sponsor. What they stand to gain from this sponsorship. All this clauses must be seen on your sponsor letter of sponsorship. With this you have tackled insufficient funds. All the best! 2 Likes |

annaliese88:annaliese88, If this fixed deposit is accesible to you towards the time of your studies in Canada/visa approval, you can use it as your proof of funds and submit all necessary documentation to support it. But if reverse is the case, i.e funds on your FD can't be accessible to you towards the period of your studies in Canada, try as much as possible to transfer them into your personal account. |

I learnt from this..thanks. So it means FD can be d only proof of funds used for application. quote author=Frankrobbn1 post=65870127] annaliese88, If this fixed deposit is accesible to you towards the time of your studies in Canada/visa approval, you can use it as your proof of funds and submit all necessary documentation to support it. Thank you for responding. Yes the money is accessible to me immediately I request for a withdrawal, and I am sole signatory. I can also have the investment company write a letter to attest to this. All I will have in my savings account though is my last salary. I hope this is fine. Frankrobbn1: |

annaliese88:annaliese88, If funds will be accessible to you in the time of need there is no problem with this. Add all documentations to support this fact! Are you a self sponsored applicant? If yes!, you should also consider the cost of your tuition and living expenses in Canada, can the funds in your FD cater for all your needs? If funds in your FD can't settle for all this and you're self sponsored, I advise you get a sponsor to support your application. |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by Frankrobbn1: 9:48pm On Mar 15, 2018 |
Ratawu: Wonderful! This really shows that the Canadian visa officers truly goes through an application entirety. One must be very careful, most especially applicant using agents for Canadian study visa. |

Good day all! Thanks to everyone contributing to this thread, God bless y'all. So, I have someone who finished her Bsc in 2017. She got her degree in ILR but would like to go to an aviation school in Canada to get a Commercial Pilot License. My question to the house on her behalf is; would this be acceptable to the immigration officer? How does she defend transferring from ILR to Aviation? Between she's 29yrs old. Thank you all in advance for your anticipated opinion(s). |

Ivan12:Ivan12, Even at that, he will still get the 5 years ban. For saying "NO" on the study permit questionnaire that he didn't use an agent is part of misrepresentation. From the rubric,i found that they submitted the same financial statement and sponsor documents to different applicants, so the information collides with other applicants applications with them, together with fraudulent employment establishment of the applicant sponsor and was asked by the Visa officer to explain his case for mispresentation, the agent then lied that it was the applicant that submitted this application, that there was no agent involved. The applicant in question won't know about this, I believe the so called AGENT, will hid this from him(applicant). Very sad story!!! The above was what went wrong. 2 Likes |

Frankrobbn1: That is so sad! The Agent set didn't try!! He couldn't produce different fraudulent document! He had to give them the same! Poor applicant |
