Yes, do that first thing first and control your application yourself, provided the email address used is also under your control. Fill another DS160 for all affected, call the customer care unit of the embassy to update the DS160 number of all the affected, then print another appointment letter carrying the new DS160 form number when you are done. Simple!

well that isn't sufficient reason to give a visa if the niece dosent have ties. The airline staff take care of the elderly. Nigerians also beg others to keep an eye out for their "mama" who is given a big paper with details of where she's going and who she's visiting in bold letters...

Lolz! True that.... NY, the Lagos of US. One city I like sha, because you can easily move around on you own without bothering about no "host"! Na that Jamaica area i dey anchor mostly and have had to visit the ends of The Bronx and have encountered almost that which you said. Not even once have I entered that US without seeing that DOWNTOWN MANHATTAN either as I come in or on my way out, maybe a night around that expensive but interesting night scenery. Wow!

Hello, urgent pls. I want to reschedule appointment. The appointment is for Monday but can't meet up with the appointment on Monday. I tried rescheduling but the icon isn't available anymore. If we miss the appointment, what will happen? Or can we go to the embassy on Monday and tell them. I just emailed the embassy. Passport isn't available for the interview.

How to go about an emerency appointment, earliest date popping up is May 10 for an April 30th conference, company made the decision late. Mailing the embassy or what s the process, I'm been redirected to the schedule appointment page,or I have to first book the earliest date first?

You can wait and keep checking regularly to see if a closer date pops up. Or if you have documents you can use to request an emergency appointment, pick the may 10th and complete all the process. Then you will see an option to request an emergency appointment.

Note: For an emergency appointment, you will have to provide tentative travel date, the reason for the emergency, a brief explanation of the emergency and finally any supporting documents.
