Congo4ka I've been thinking of starting a series to add spice to the build up to the WC. Just as TheSuperNerd has set an alarm clock that tick tocks towards the D-day. I'm thinking of a series like from say 50 days to the tournament to make short daily infotaining posts about Russia, to drop interesting tidbits about Russia, from their culture, history, important characters in Russian history, their literature, music, arts, geography, food, architecture including special highlights of the stadiums and host cities with each short post accompanied by pictures to make it vivid and colourful. I'm mentioning you cos you said you familiar with Russia and also tbaba1234 cos he's perfect at giving short quipy posts. Fifty days to the tourny it should begin.

I don't think it's a good thing to just give them a slot in the team. Such actions can cause bitterness in the team. So who would lose his place for them now? Na so dem good reach? I even think it's too late in the day for them to be part of our WC team. Post WC, maybe
woe betide that nff official promising them a world cup slot....
so the other players battling for the slots..are not good enough...if the Germans desire the slots...let them fight fr it...
even aina we manage convince is battling for his....

I expect the nff to have talked them to believe they stand a brighter chance of playing in the national team should they opt for Nigeria...and that we need them at this point of time...so as to see to the realisation of our long term project of building a formidable team....
we should be realistic wit our approach.....
and not promise them a world cup slot....they're not better than the ones we have only coming to compliment them...

all being said...I will prefer have them in the team after the world cup....

and please someone should tell the nff...in the sojourn to lure English kids...Tammy and Ibe should be left out of it...we don't need those 2.

Haha sir. The regulars here know that’s not an allegation. We know u well enough. You are talking about a pool of talents, but I’m waiting for you to make a case AGAIN for at least 5 players in the Championship yet u are busy trying to score a pointless point.

komekn:

So you before you made your allegations you had not got substantive information so you made the allegations based on assumption in the negative.

Before you make an allegation which you made within the last 24 hrs you should know. You can't ask me to find your allegations for you that's ludicrous.

So back to you, I am getting dissapointed I expected more from you. If a few of the emotive and prejudicial led contributors said this I wouldn't even respond. But you who I regard as thinking before speaking and well balanceed. It's not good enough for you.

Aight. It would surely be interesting. I know quite a little about Russia. I especially love their literature as I regard Fyodor Dostoevsky and Leo Tolstoy as the two greatest Novelists ever. In fact Tolstoy is widely regarded in literary circles as the greatest because of his book 'War and Peace' which had more than 900 characters. Meanwhile Dostoevsky is known for his penetrating analysis and understanding of the darkness of the human psyche.
And then I like reading about the Second World War - you can't miss Russia in that drama.

I doubt those guys can ever play for Germany. The German team is too deeply loaded. Their best bet is Nigeria but they must be worthy of it not just because dem be German born. No way.

Official Brings Good News : Etebo, Ebuehi & Joel Obi Will Report For International Duty
Published: March 16, 2018
Official Brings Good News : Etebo, Ebuehi & Joel Obi Will Report For International DutySuper Eagles Media Officer Toyin Ibitoye has put to rest once and for all speculation in the media that Joel Obi, Oghenekaro Etebo and Tyronne Ebuehi will not be available for next week's international friendly against Poland.

In his latest update to allnigeriasoccer.com, Ibitoye confirmed that both Las Palmas and ADO Den Haag have not informed the Nigerian Federation about the injuries sustained by Etebo and Ebuehi, adding that the players are on the final stretch of the recovery process and will report for international duty next week.

As for Joel Obi, there is nothing new from Ibitoye, but the injury update from Torino is not positive, with the club informing on Thursday via their official website that the central midfielder had an individual training session ahead of Sunday's visit of Fiorentina.

Obi's appearances for the national team have been limited by physical problems but the midfielder has given his word that he will honour this latest invitation.

Tyronne Ebuehi was sighted exercising with his teammates on Thursday, however, he remains doubtful to suit up against Excelsior in the Eredivisie this evening.

Nigeria will face Poland on March 23 before flying to the English capital, where they will trade tackles with Serbia on March 27.

Where in heaven's name are you leading us? Make your point precisely, would ya!
The arguement was that English players who play or has played for the English national team hardly excel outside England. You named a Scottish and Welsh player( who both play in separate national football teams) , you have been corrected already, but all you do is ask questions leading us nowhere in particular.
Just hit the nail on the fvcking head.

Based on the bolded, you don't have the locus standi in this argument because your assertions are far apart from the substance itself.

Where did he write 'English players who has played for the national team' as seen below?

realpoacher:
EPL fan boys how far?

What do you have to say about Football.....extremely good football existing outside England?

What do you have to say about kick & follow, brute, rush rush, power, and 'anywhere belle face' football?

What do you have to say about Spanish teams dominating and winning the UCL 8 times in 18 years since 2000s?

What do you have to say about having an all spanish finals 4 times out of those years?

what do you have to say concerning spanish teams dominating the Europa leagues all those years too?

Or would you say that the second top half of the EPL cant stand toe -to- toe with their spanish counterpath?

when we tell you that football doesnt start and end in England , you lots wont hear...SMH

When we tell you to remove your tongues from the English ass, you lots wont hear

Ever wondered why no English descent or bred players never survived in other leagues?

the answer is simple....The English dont know how to play football....Their football orientation is wack therefore it cannot survived outside England.

Take Raheem Sterling to Spain, Germany, Italy and watch him flop

take Harry Kane to Spain, Germany, Italy, France and Portugal and watch him become a shadow of himself....this is not me being bais, rather the results are there for all to see...from Beckam, to others in the time past,....no English player ever succeeded outside England....FACT!!! Outsiders succed in England but not English players succeeding in other countries. Yet some English fan boys wants me to take football in England serious..... tufiaka....that aint happenning

For so long, Lampard was lured out to other leagues, He refused to go..., ofcourse he couldnt because he then what awaited him

i have said it before and i will keep saying it.......the only reason why top English teams beat top teams from the backwater leagues is POWER & PACE!

With power & pace they bulldozed their way through those poor teams from the 'backwater leagues' while feeling 'funky' like they have arrived... But when they meet their mates, the top teams of the other 5 top tier leagues then they crumble like a pack of cards. grin

Do you know why they crumble?

They crumble because they met their match in Power & Pace but they fall short of TECHNICALITY, INTELLIGENCE, FOOTBALL SENSE

Yes!....English football lacks technicality, inteligence and football sense. They have no football sense whatsoever, thats why they play kick and follow football, thats why they play 'anywhere belle face' football.

Presently only Pep is playing football in England and the difference is clear. They say la liga is a two horse race yet they cant even beat the others left behind by Madrid & Barca. ...Doesnt tell you that if all English teams were in the Laliga, they will all be playing catch up too? undecided

They say Bayern munich cannot win premeirship with 5 matches to spare,...the same Pep who was in charge of Bayern then is in charge of Man city today, see how all other premiership teams are gasping at straws.

They say la liga is boring but the EPL is the most competetive, the most exciting interesting, bla bla bla.... and i ask, why wont it seem interesting when 19 average teams slugging it out in mediocrity week in week out with the ever reliable English press acting as an event ORATOR praising them to high heavens, decieving them, keeping them perpetually disillusioned.

I repaet, English football in its original terms is CRAP!

The EPL is what it is today because of the Foreigners in it,... Take the Foreigners out of it and it will become like ukrainian league or the Turkish league at best tongue

Did those arguing blindly read the post with assimilation?

What is the meaning of the bolded?

What is the bone of contention?

No 1. 'English descent'

No 2. 'of English bred players'

Now, tell me, where did Gareth Bale falls into?

The bone of contention is anything that is in connection with the English either by proximity or whatsoever.

I have already said that they are same based on the content/context realpoacher wrote but I too know people dey run to dey correct. I repeat, those who are too forward in this regard are ignoramous. GBAM!

Now, please, answer those questions.
