Right from when I was a kid, I have been of the view that developed nations such as America, Russia, Great Britain, etc, attained greatness because of their science and technological prowess. However, most of these countries, especially the US, have strong belief in God. Even Vladimir Putin once made reference to his personal belief in God (despite the perception that Russians are atheists).
