Be honest with yourself that's not the reason for the follow up interview except you visited North Korea and you did not mentioned it... Your visa expired when?

Hardly will there be any cause for alarm for these. Your follow-up interview should be for some other reason methinks.... Your US visa was used appropriately too, abi? It could be a random call, maybe just to iron something(s) out too.

Changing to New York make sense and it will have no adverse effect on your application. Reserve a room but don't pay oooo until you get the visa.

Why do you wanna do that? if what you want to change is worth it better do it asap and remember to update your ds160 number.

Seyewest as of today is there any other places one can go for vacation apart from these common places(ghana, Dubai, Kenya, even Shengen ), it seems American doesn't believe in these places again to grant visa

they know u can't remain in doz country because it doesn't favor in anyway, so u enter there comot doesn't mean u don't have intention of migrating.

Travel history that add to adjusting is visiting a country that accept "dual citizen" and leave. That's a plus

don't put hotel issue on mind forgetting what's ur ties, I think it's too late now considering their 72 hours to appointment time rule. Calculate it before changing.

visiting Dubai is not a strong travel history. The main reason people are migrating or giving birth is because of U.S "dual citizen".

How do u overcome "presumed immigrant" on travel history? Is by visiting a country that offers what U.S is offering which is "Dual Citizen".

Don't see Dubai and kenya as a tie, I will advise u to focus on other ties that is bringing u back (Professional Work family).

Hello everyone, pleasant evening to u all, please i'd be going for a US non-immigrant tourist visa interview in two days time and i've been going through comments here in preparation for the interview...please i'd appreciate any advice on possible questions to expect from the VO and best way to compose my answers...i am married to a british passport holder and our daughter also has her british passport as well, we are planning a family vacation in d US and i am d only one seeking for visa as i am yet to have my own passport, we all reside here in nigeria, i have been to dubai wt my hubby n we'v also travelled with our daughter to Netherlands for family vacation and to visit my brother inlaw there...we intend to travel in april for 2wks, destination orlando flourida, we've made an accommodation reservation in flourida...my job: protocol manager... my husband is d one sponsoring our trip, he is a business man, owns his company(real estate) he (or should i say we)has landed properties n completed buildings dat are up for sale already as well as some oda on-going projects...now in ur honest opinion, wat are my chances of being granted d visa n wat advice wud u give me to help up my chances for approval?

No, i am yet to, as my uk visa processing is taking a long toll since hubby is now resident in nigeria n his assets are here...there are some requirements he has to meet to be eligible to sponsor me or invite me over on a spouse visa (though he hasnt had time to go over there for long stays which cud enable him get an apartment, job or biz running n pay taxes...except for short visits) but he intends to apply for me as soon as he becomes eligible again

lol I did not visit North korea and I have no plans. Just that I have been poring through my ds 160 to see what could be the reason.

My last visa expired in January, I am renewing because I am traveling next month.

Never sought medical in the US and I don't remember couriering anything to Nigeria if that is what you mean. I have had things couriered to me in the US that I bought online though.

To the best of my knowledge, I have not abused the terms of my visa at anytime. I did not stay up to 10 days during my last trip and on one occasion stayed over a month in a hotel, which is the longest in recent times and this was because of a delay by our partners.

Good morning sirs and Mas. I was told one can reschedule an appointment, I have been trying to do so, now the message that pops up says canceling this appointment will lead to paying another MVR fees.

Note : I have never canceled or rescheduled before.
Pls what's the way out. The reasons I want reschedule is cos my departure date is just a day after the interview. Though I have subsequent conference in May. But the conference I filled in my DS-160 form before I booked the appointment seems too close to the interview date.

Pls any useful or professional advice on what to do God bless you

This screenshot said it all for nonimmigrant visa, my conclusion is that visa officer that interview you has the power to deniel or aprove your visa .

All your ties is in Nigeria which is a good thing... I personally do not see you as an intending immigrant... My advice for you is to be honest and answer the question truthfully.... if they asked why you're not a british citizen yet you can always tell them both of you are not ready for the stress involve in doing it.

MRV fees are not refundable nor transferrable after they are assigned to a particular applicant.
