daveP: Words and actions have different meanings in different places. Saying an innocent, How are you? To someone who is much older can be construed as being disrespectful in some cases in Nigeria. In England it would be simply not an issue. |

You can never go through any game or competition without high BP. Even the Spanish team of 2010, if you checked their fans bp in the games against Paraguay and Holland you'd know some fainted. As a true fan you must always have ur heart aching forgiveness: |

Forgiveness is right. Alot of people kicked against Joel Obi's call up.. some citing injury while others maintained that his inclusion might affect the high team spirit and bonding. 6 Likes |

But wait ooh! i was just wondering, since Poland's home kit is white nd red. Does it mean the super eagles will wear the all green away jesery for easy distinction or the home kit. personally i would like the see then in the home kits. |

DrKlever: The bolded, very wrong. When you say a lot kicked against his call up, you made it look like no be all of us dey this thread again. I think you are mistaking the way most people reacted to the demand for Martins call up for Joel's . Joel has always been fans Favourite even on this thread. What a lot of people were worried about was his frequent injuries. 7 Likes 2 Shares |

DrKlever: I raised this question weeks ago. TheSuperNerd dey call me Jerseymatics. We go dey look na. Poland cannot wear Red and white and we wear Green and white. We can only wear that green on white if Poland compromise their home jersey by wearing all red. Else we are wearing the Dark green. Who is home in the fixture between Nigeria and Serbia? Mind you Serbia's home jersey is Dark blue on white. if Serbia is the home team in the fixture and they chose to wear their Blue on white? Wetin we go come wear? 2 Likes |

SerVik:My brother. I had begun to type just exactly what you wrote above but I lost steam midway and just wrote glory Hunter Weh done. Joel Obi was resisted because of his injury woes. Nobody queried his quality or his ability to blend with the team. And the fact is even in the media (we sef na media now ooo, aka social media) his injury woes was the only issue that kept popping up. Solace Chukwu even wrote an article addressing this point. Na im my brother forgiveness want take the glory. 9 Likes 1 Share |

Mujtahida: Even now, his making the final team irrespective of his performance in the friendlies is still in doubt. Some times coaches can drop a player because of this kind of uncertainty. He may make the final team now and sustain an injury 5minutes into the tournament and remain ruled out for the rest of the tournament, thereby making the team in short of one player. If a Player like Joel Obi is in a team you must be sure to have at least 2 back-up players for his position while other positions may have 1 back-up. That can be a headache for the coach. 2 Likes |
