I have said it before and I will say it again. Icon4s, you have a personal vendetta against this poor boy!

This is a 19 year old rookie but very exceptional keeper for his age and drafted into the mix to do what keepers far above his age are struggling to do.

Yet you won't let him rest,... angry

Enyeama came in at age 20 at 2002 world cup to stop a Paul scholes shot, from that day on he was confirmed Nigeria's No1 Goalkeeper for 13 years.

This boy Uzoho has kept clean sheets against Argentina and Poland in front of their home fans and even saved a one-on-one with Lewandoski.

This is a boy that grew into the game after a shaky nervous start, he punched away most shot horizontally( this is what professionals do) , and caught firmly the shot that he could.

This is a boy that covered his angle very well even if a shot was going wide. Yet this is the same boy that you will castigate at will.

If Courtiose had kept for us last night and Lewandoski shot went pass through his leg,..I bet you wouldn't have blame him.... If Akpeyi had kept for us last night and one of the straight shots at him scored( because Akpeyi usually swing sideways away from his position before diving back to his spot and by then, a direct straight shot at him would have already gone into his net), you obviously wouldn't blame him.

But you can blame Uzoho who is doing well so far, you blame him for his inexperience, you blame him for school boy errors, you blame him for everything.

And I wonder how this exceptional good keeper will have this so-called experience that you gloat about without playing such a high temple match?.

I also wonder how he can grow if he doesn't get games?.. undecided

You can blame Uzoho because after all he is truly a rookie. You blame Uzoho after all he the fall guy.

But remember this, this same rookie and inexperience boy has played 135 minutes against Argentina and Poland without conceedeing a goal. Infact he achieved this when he had to come in to clean the mess of one of the so called experience keeper and he cleaned it well.

Also remember that this same rookie came out tops on a one-on-one against his senior in Lewandoski while a world best keeper T. Courtoius could not do the same when he came against his mate, he was just opening his leg anyhow like ashawo kobo kobo for Messi.

I always give respect to who earns it and Uzoho has earned my respect from yesterdays match. Just like you, I observed that Uzoho was jittery in the first half so much that I had my heart in my mouth BUT he came out in the second half and cleared all my doubts....as in at a point crosses from corners and freekicks were floating in from different angles and for once, there was no rush of blood to his head. He kept his cool and kept his goal line very well.

Mr Man, we have a jewel in our hands. And Yes! He has just been tested and he came out Tops
it's ok bro I share most of your sentiments about uzoho's performance yesterday but the truth is that he is far from being the finished article

Definitely he is going to the world cup but ordinarily should have been the third choice unfortunately our goalkeeping crisis has thrust him into the firing line

From what I saw of him he's jittery with crosses and not too accurate with his punch outs but admittedly he improved as the game progressed

However what francis has going for him is that I'm not sure the other goalkeepers we have would have done better

So whoever rohr decides to use will be a risk

We have Aluko, and what of Kingsley Sokari? even Nosa lgiebor has been completely forgotten.
To strengthen the team, we don't need an Agu since we have so many good players in his position. We need a Samuel Kalu, Sone Aluko, Ajiboye(Aiyenugba) and a fit Onyekuru , and we are set for the world cup.

can you be honest to tell me where sokari and igiebor play there club football without using Google? Rohr is a professional, he dont call you because you can play a possition before, are you still turning out good performance in that position.

I used the Wikipedia now and I notice Nosa igiebor has just 2 appearance since 2017, 1 for Vancouver white cap in Canada and 1 for famagusta in Cyprus and Kingsley sokari solar is not even a starter in esperance of Tunisia

This is getting comical so what was he doing at Wigan to get Chelsea's attention? All I have seen Henry do for Nigeria is a shot that was cleared off the line but on the other hand I witnessed Moses against Algeria live and there is no better dribbler in Africa if u ask me. Don't let his performance as of late for Chelsea fool you.

but I clearly was talking about the foul. U guys should stop acting like players must be perfect, in a game u are bound to get beat to a ball or two. If he had got a yellow it would have been a good yellow to get because it stopped a goal scoring opportunity.

Even an avoidable yellow?

Ogbeni if he had done his homework, there wouldn't have been any need for the foul. Don't u get it?

yes its comical as well saying if you can dribble like moses then you must have a name!! is he messi or ronaldo. How many minutes have henry played in the GWG, have you giving him as much minutes as moses which butress my point you might be good but lack platform to showcase. i still maintain my stand henry dribbles more than moses.. moses might be better in other aspect but not dribbles. After watching our match against Poland again,, I was disappointed about the fillowing:
1. Without Mikel, we struggled stringing passes
2. Our shots at Target was very poor
3. Our wing backs were static

But the positives are:
1. We pressured upfront whenever the Polish defenders had the ball especially during second half
2. Ndidi was a war horse in the midfield as usual
3. Nacho worked hard upfront
4. Ighalo may be slow but the dude is a trouble of defences
5. Uzo is a future goalie who will gain a lot at the WC

I finally watched the match this morning and I must say that I was impressed. I still am cheesy. It could have been worse. About Joel,it's now so obvious that he's proven he deserves a place in the WC bound team. At least if not for anything, for his determination. Despite his seemingly unending fight against injuries,he was one of the boldest if not the boldest and fearless SE player on the pitch. That deserves an applause. U needed to have felt my fast paced heartbeats everytime he fell to the ground grin. I would prefer though, for him to be played in a more attacking form. Maybe an AMF so as to see that side of him more cos we definitely lacked those cutting edge passes. Well, that's why Mikel is Mikel. No one can replace him. We can only get a good enough or even better substitute but to replace him? Impossible. The time no even dey sef.

Ebuehi needs to start abeg. Shehu messed up yesterday with the defense(most of the time but made an incredible 2nd half block in the box). Victor Moses' new role at CHE also helped us as he sometimes covered up for Shehu in the first half,so that's a good thing. Bryan was definitely better than Echiejile. No doubt. I want to see Aina come in for Ebuehi as a RB against Serbia. Let Shehu rest small and let's see what Aina can do in his natural position.

All in all,it was a good game. I'm happy. Poland weren't so friendly after all. Not even a usual 'sorry' to our players after a bad tackle. But who cares? We beat them in their backyard in front of a 42k filled stadium in which 98% were white. I could only count about 4 Nigerians excluding the NFF so yes it was a big victory cheesy. Anyone who believes otherwise can kiss a skunk's butt for all I care.

You're pulling an unnecessary fallacy called fallacy of false dichotomy here.

bros Moses is a good dribbler but to say he is better than onyekwuru in that department is a capital NO.. Onyekwuru dribbles much more than Moses.

Nigeria International Victor Moses is among the top 100 dribblers in the world as far as it is concerned in the top five leagues across Europe.
The latest ratings released by Football statisticians CIES Football Observatory ranks Moses in joint 76 position 70 places behind Barcelona and Argentine superstar Lionel Messi who is ranked 6th in the world.

Is Onyekuru on the list? NO. Cefini.

Top 10 Premier League Dribblers

MARCH 31, 2012 BY BACK PAGE FOOTBALL
The Premier League does not have Lionel Messi, or no longer boast the trickery of Cristiano Ronaldo, but here are the top 10 players to have produced the most successful dribble attempts in the 2011/12 season to date:

10. Gareth Bale (Tottenham Hotspur) – 49

Last season’s PFA Players’ Player of the Year has dribbled past opponents on 49 occasions this season. This included a standout performance in a 2-1 victory at Wigan where the Welsh winger successfully dribbled past opponents on half a dozen occasions and scored Spurs’ second goal midway through the first half which proved to be the winner.

Gareth Bale has completed 82% of his open play passes in his 28 starts this season, an improvement of 8% on last season. In fact, Bale has improved his figures in the Goals Scored, Assists and Crossing Accuracy this season as last season’s award still remains a mystery. Or was it because of his solo effort against Internazionale in the Champions League that swung the voters his way for the Premier League award?

9. Nani (Manchester United) – 49

Despite suffering from a couple of injuries this season, the Portuguese winger has succeeded in 49 dribble attempts in 22 starts for Manchester United in the Premier League this season. The former Sporting player was instrumental in Manchester United’s 3-1 victory over Chelsea, handing Andre Villas-Boas his first defeat as Chelsea manager. Nani scored the second goal of the game with a rising drive from outside the area before winning a penalty in the second half (which Wayne Rooney failed to convert).

Nani has contributed with 6 goals so far this season and eight assists in open play. Both of these are down on last season when he was a strong contender for PFA Player of the Year. Nani’s 1,876 minutes in the Premier League this season are more than any other Manchester United midfielder during an injury hit season for the team.

8. Jose Enrique (Liverpool) – 50

One of Kenny Dalglish’s better signings during his second spell at Liverpool, Jose Enrique is the only defender who makes the list. The Liverpool full back who often overlaps Stewart Downing on the left flank has successfully beaten 50 opponents with the ball at his feet during the 29 Premier League games he has played.

Jose Enrique has played the full 90 minutes in each of the league games he has started this season, only missing Liverpool’s 0-0 draw at Tottenham Hotspur in February. The former Newcastle left back has picked up just two yellow cards this season, with one of his strengths pinning wingers to the touchline. Enrique’s attacking abilities has seen him attempt 115 crosses leading to 2 assists in the Premier League to date.

7. Stephane Sessegnon (Sunderland) – 51

The Sunderland forward has been one of the better attacking players in the Premier League this season. Stephane Sessegnon is amongst the top 10 in successful dribbling attempts (51), open play chances created (46) and open play goal assists (7).

Stephane Sessegnon is currently Sunderland’s top Premier League goalscorer with 7 goals, making his return to score against Queens Park Rangers on Saturday following a three-match ban for a straight red card in the Tyne-Wear derby. The Benin international has improved his Pass Completion Rate, Crossing Accuracy and Minutes per Created Chance in comparison to the 13 starts he made last season.

6. Luis Suarez (Liverpool) – 52

Despite sitting out 5 Premier League games through suspension, Luis Suarez makes the top 10 having successfully dribbled past players on 52 occasions during his 25 game season. The controversial Uruguayan is Liverpool’s top scorer with seven Premier League goals to date.

No other player has committed more handballs than the six Luis Suarez has been penalised for to date. Another category Suarez leads is free kicks won per game. Some opposition fans won’t be too surprised to hear that stat.

5. Scott Sinclair (Swansea City) – 54

The Swansea City left forward has contributed to the Premier League debutants with 7 goals, all at the Liberty Stadium and five from the penalty spot. The former Chelsea youth scored 19 goals during the Swans’ promotion campaign last season and has adapted well along with the Welsh side in the Premier League.

Scott Sinclair scored one goal in his 18 Premier League appearances on loan at Wigan Athletic in 2009/10 and has greatly improved his goal rate with Swansea, scoring his 7 goals in 30 games. Sinclair has not scored since a 1-1 draw at home to Chelsea at the end of January.

4. Nathan Dyer (Swansea City) – 54

Praised for their exciting passing game, Swansea City also have two of the top five dribblers in the Premier League. Along with team mate Scott Sinclair, Nathan Dyer has taken the ball past opponents on 54 occasions through 30 games this season. Dyer caught national attention during a 3-2 victory over Arsenal in January where he scored the home side’s second goal after winning a penalty for the first in a game he dribbled past three Gunners.

Nathan Dyer has created more chances (25) than team mate Sinclair (22), but only has one assist compared to his team mates three. The former Southampton youngster has succeeded with 56% of his dribble attempts, whilst Sinclair’s success rate is 48%.

3. Moussa Dembele (Fulham) – 63

The lively Fulham forward has caught the attention of a number of football fans and pundits alike for his dribbling and technical ability. Moussa Dembele scored his only 2011/12 Premier League goal to date in a 2-0 victory at Wigan at the end of October. In that game, the Belgian international successfully dribbled past four opponents but failed to create a single opportunity for a team mates.

The former AZ player has scored four Premier League goals in 55 appearances, creating 74 chances for team mates, resulting in five assists during that time. Manager Martin Jol may want Dembele to increase his productivity levels at Craven Cottage, but the Fulham number 30 has certainly shown his ability to entertain in the English league.

2. Victor Moses (Wigan Athletic) – 72

Following the sale of Charles N’Zogbia to Aston Villa in the summer, Wigan Athletic fans and manager Roberto Martinez were looking at Victor Moses to fill in his place. The former Crystal Palace player has certainly had his opportunities on the left wing, but has yet to fill into the French man’s boots. Chairman Dave Whelan criticised his manager for leaving Moses on the bench for a home game with Swansea City recently, but the three Premier League goals scored by the Nigerian so far this seaso have made him anything but prolific.

Victor Moses’ 72 successful dribble attempts are down on the 109 Charles N’Zogbia produced in a Wigan shirt last season, and the new left-sided player is also down on the former’s goal assists; five to one. N’Zogbia’s nine goals last season were a big factor in Wigan avoiding relegation last season, can Victor Moses become the 2011/12 hero in the final eight games?

Mikel agu invite is impromptu, and in that case you will go for a player you know on and off the field, Rohr won't want to disrupt the feeling in camp with a wrong invite, the team for Russia is already set.

we should be expecting 2 players in each position Joel and Mikel in the atracking position, if you have been following Rohr you will notice he fancies Mikel Agu, who knows he might be seeing what we don't see.

just like Mikel, obi and moses plays in the defensive position sometimes in there club side, Agu might actually have attacking instinct too.

i have not been impressed with the Agu guy though but I'm just been neutral
