History made then.....

Nigeria starts with an all "Oyibo wall" (foreign-borns) four man back line.... grin

Ebuehi-Ekong-Balogun-Idowu

Now this is what I really call "The Oyibo Wall reloaded" cheesy

Another twist, Leon Balogun Out

I am not sure about Beinsports international, but BeinSports USA is showing it at 10PM EST (delayed telecast, I believe). That's why I would be going offline in the next 1 hour .... I don't wanna hear the results before I watch the game grin

And by the way, if you have access to ESPN 3, Egypt vs Greece is on now .

O pari

But it's only a friendly na. "Results" does not matter grin

Bros, No one is saying the SE has arrived. The purpose of friendlies is to build your team to perfection. Fine, We didn't play too well against Poland but considering where we are from, the quality of our players, and the game being played away from home, I think it wasn't a bad game. The area I disagree with, is basing SE (and Poland) strength on that single match. Our opponents will sure not do that because that can be suicidal for them.
I think we can match many of these top ranked teams. Of course my conviction about this is not based on our Performance against Poland alone

Let's cease the argument for now. Let's create positive vibes for the brothers infield.

Very sadly can not make the trip to Barnet.

The M6 is simply horrendous at rush hour so will get thier late.

Will have to stream live anybody know the best site.

Both teams have something to prove, interesting comparison between Matic and Ndidi much debated here. Without doubt we have home advantage for sure, so think we wil just about win 2-1 my predictions.

Injury to KC is very ALARMING it exposes our weakness in taking only two strikers to the world cup.
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by nelszx: 7:36pm On Mar 27, 2018
Egypt currently losing to a less fancied Greek team
Switzerland currently hammering Panama for 6 with 13 minutes left to play (abeg how Panama take qualify?)
Panama will do a Saudi-Arabia of 2002.
Football ....... Anything can happen

Haha!! That's the way it's supposed to be, but Nigerians don't care. They expect you to win all time every time. And play well too!
It doesn't matter if it's a friendly ... it doesn't matter if you're trying out new players and new formations, you still gotta win. That's naija for you, win at all cost! grin

nwakali being yet

How many games has the Ovie played for Liverpool How many games has he played for Sunderland.

Compare that too Nwakali playing in the second tier of the Dutch league, and very very far from Arsenal first team in fact he is no where near the U23's. And you say YET

I definitely celebrated our win and I'm still ruminating over it but that's not the point.

That statement you bolded becomes significant when you realize that I'm against the idea that we have arrived after our win against Poland as popular belief is.

I'm with the motion that we won dirty, and nobody wants to accept that. Everyone believes we outplayed Poland, when we were rubbish, while they were woeful. Ask yourself this, "if Poland had won, what would I have thought?".

Don't label me an anti.
We didn't play well jare. We just won. No fluidity in that match.

Serbia's Starting XI #NGASRB

Serbia XI vs Nigeria: Stojkovic, Rukavina, Ivanovic, Nastasic, Kolarov, Matic, Milivojevic, Tadic, Kostic, Ljajic, Mitrovic

This is a very solid Serbia team. Look at that midfield of Matic, Milovojevic and Llajic... Woah! Tadic, Kostic and Mitrovic (no.9) lead the charge for goals...

They start Ivanovic, Nastasic and Kolarov in defence... Top names. Let's get this battle on .... cool

I would like to see how Ahmed Musa can hold the no 9 position in the absence of Ighalo.

Thanks to Rohr for giving Joel Obi another chance to shine. I hope he seals his world cup place.

The Oyibo wall has been diluted with Awaziem. Let's see what he can do.

Iwobi must learn to dominate games & not get swallowed up like that of Poland.

Goodluck to the Eagles.... Sorry, Buhari to the Eagles

Meanwhile, Egypt is 0-1 down to Greece at half time. Shebi I told y'all that Egypt probably isn't gonna come out of that puff puff group.

Remember Egypt lost to Portugal on Friday, and yesterday Netherland trashed Portugal! Now Egypt is losing to common Greece! Is this the same Egypt who beats out Ghana? It seems they only know how to play when it comes to African oppositions.
