Humility017:Remember i told i don't rate Ighalo but you know what if we want to go by our displayed against Poland and Serbia, let us forget sentiment, Ighalo cannot do anything. Pls tell me any clear pass and chance created in both match, this was the same problem faced by Iheanacho against South Africa, very obvious now that without Mikel our attackers find it hard to perform. 1 Like |

Imagine in a match where u are on the losing side and also scored an own goal, yet u have the best rating amongst every other outfield player on ur team and a better rating than most players on the winning side. Remember the name, Sadiq Umar 3 Likes 2 Shares |

ChrisKels: Sir TheGoodJoe and I have his name pencilled down already since post-Rio in a special ink into the records of the super monitor database system dedicated to the rise of the new Super Eagles golden generation. Yara Yara watches over this system carefully. We will remember the name. #RiseOfTheLeagueOfExtraordinaryHitmen This is a project... Give it time. All the puzzle pieces that will make the Super Eagles world class or even neae world class won't fall into place all at once. 1 Like

Icon4s: Lemme add mine..... 1.u measure the post width using paces or sometimes foot span. 2.Anything can be used as a ball... plastic bowls, nylon bags etc 3.small size goal Posts were sometimes referred to monkey post. 4. Made trophies out of the gold foils in cigarette packs 5. Penalties were sometimes taken with the taker backin the goalpost and nogoalkeeper (and trust me, there were misses) 1 Like |

I'm very sure Poland will be looking for a better striker now, with that chance that lewandowski missed against common Uzoho. Lewandowski is just over hyped. He's not world cup material yet. |

My people here's what I posted on twitter at the end of today's La Liga game: When it comes to the game of football, Leo #Messi is simply a small god. He can create something out of nothing. Definitely the greatest soccer player of all time. No contest! #SevillaBarca And 28 people have liked the post so far O pari |

tbaba1234: Might pose a bigger threat aerially but lets not get carried away Ighalo is the more dangerous striker. What we should be talking about is finding him the right service. He can be our X-Factor at this world cup, he is one of the most skillful no9s in the world and he has strength to battle the biggest of CBs. In the Super Eagles he should not have to carry the scoring load, we need goals from other players also. 2 Likes |

Ighalo gave a top class performance for Nigeria in our friendlies and it just stuns me that people are basically calling for his head. The problem with Nigerian football is that everyday the fans want new players. |

Outside Football for a bit aiit: AJ wins but not by KO lol....but By UD. He now unifies the WBA, WBO and IBF belts. But that ref tho... John Bennett (BBC) said, "Even my old school master allowed more fighting that this referee in this #AJparker fight.." That ref just wan spoil show... Lol Up next for AJ is most likely battled hardened Deontay Wilder mehn.... Congrats AJ.... Oya back to football... 5 Likes |

bengine: He wasn't man marking anybody but he was in 1v1 situations with those guys and pretty much shut them down for the whole match. I am not making a claim for Uwa because that would be a tough sell seeing where he plays but let us not act like him locking up Mahrez and Basagog didn't happen. |

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by bengine: 12:27am On Apr 01, 2018 |
Kog45: He is pretty skilful for a forward, he is pretty quick for a guy that tall..he offers something different to our other forwards..the problem I have always had with him is his decision making. .i know that would get better with age... He is fast, skillful, can evade is marker, dribble, physical presence has a 9 which means he can play a lone forward..I can list more, actually there is rumour Chelsea wants to sign him..he is Chelsea kind of striker..lol..but I know they would loan him cos of work permit.. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by bengine: 12:38am On Apr 01, 2018 |
Kog45: Ighalo is the best top 9 we have right now..too be honest I would rather have Ighalo has a forward than nacho because of his hold up play..I'm a nacho fan boy*** We play with skilful inverted forwards, you need a striker that can hold up play and bring them into the game..that's why I think Sodiq can be a back up to Ighalo, we should just let nacho be a SS OR AMF.. |
