so sorry...you can remove the German lads...
I don't have anything against...Ighalo...
just stating the obvious....
Remember i told i don't rate Ighalo but you know what if we want to go by our displayed against Poland and Serbia, let us forget sentiment, Ighalo cannot do anything.

Pls tell me any clear pass and chance created in both match, this was the same problem faced by Iheanacho against South Africa, very obvious now that without Mikel our attackers find it hard to perform.

Imagine in a match where u are on the losing side and also scored an own goal, yet u have the best rating amongst every other outfield player on ur team and a better rating than most players on the winning side.

Remember the name, Sadiq Umar

you just disappointed me with this write up...
he was never given Apple time in Italy...
during preseason he played well...but roma never give him enough time to get used to the team...to play.....
he left for torino...the presence of a top Italian striker in the team limited his opportunities...and now in the dutch league..you're trying to berate same league...

same league taiwo awoniyi could not play up to his optimal capacity....but now in the Belgian league doing better....are you going to say the Belgian league is lower to the dutch league....
even mr ajagun in Holland didn't play this well the way he currently plays in the Belgian league...

you should know by now that football don't work that way.....players can be best suited for a particular team style of play or even a league...and that will aid them to shine.

O boy you don kee me with laughter finish here.

Let me add:

Because there were no cross bars, any ball that goes higher than the stones used as posts was regarded as "High goal"!

Referees were regarded as "lefree"

A bicycle kick was regarded as "Shangalo"
J
Popular names we called ourselves: Maradona, Zico, Etim, Zagalo.

Lemme add mine.....
1.u measure the post width using paces or sometimes foot span.
2.Anything can be used as a ball... plastic bowls, nylon bags etc
3.small size goal Posts were sometimes referred to monkey post.
4. Made trophies out of the gold foils in cigarette packs
5. Penalties were sometimes taken with the taker backin the goalpost and nogoalkeeper (and trust me, there were misses)

Out Of Favour Super Eagles Striker Aaron Samuel Amkar Perm To Win With Brace Against Lokomotiv Moscow

Russian side Amkar Perm had their loan recruit Aaron Samuel to thank as his brace helped them to a 2-1 win over Lokomotiv Moscow as the Russian Premier League returns after the international break.
The Nigerian joined Amkar Perm on loan from fellow Russian side CSKA Moscow during the January transfer window, and the striker who scored just once in seven games for CSKA in the first half of the league has already doubled his tally in just three games for his new side.

Aaron netted his first goal via the spot in the 48th minute to draw his team level, before grabbing his brace eleven minutes later to seal a morale boosting win for his side. He was substituted to a standing ovation in the 69th minute.

Dropped from the squad of the Super Eagles after failing to make an impression when he was first invited by coach Gernot Rohr, he will be hoping to maintain his goal scoring form to force his way back into the plans of the coach ahead of the World Cup in Russia.

Russian-Nigerian defender Brian Idowu who played in both friendly games for the Super Eagles against Poland and Serbia respectively, was on for the entire duration of the game.

Wow this is a big development. Aaron has finally broken his duck against a strong team at that.

I'm very sure Poland will be looking for a better striker now, with that chance that lewandowski missed against common Uzoho.
Lewandowski is just over hyped. He's not world cup material yet.

Sadiq Umar is quality... With all due respect, he will pose a greater threat than Ighalo especially with his directness.

Might pose a bigger threat aerially but lets not get carried away Ighalo is the more dangerous striker. What we should be talking about is finding him the right service. He can be our X-Factor at this world cup, he is one of the most skillful no9s in the world and he has strength to battle the biggest of CBs. In the Super Eagles he should not have to carry the scoring load, we need goals from other players also.

Ighalo gave a top class performance for Nigeria in our friendlies and it just stuns me that people are basically calling for his head. The problem with Nigerian football is that everyday the fans want new players.

So you are saying is sole job is to be man marking..who are you going to man mark at the world cup especially as a left back, you need to be sharp and be able to deal with any threat on your side..he was ok against algeria, made a few tackles that's all..he offered nothing apart from that..modern day LB and RB are required to contribute a lot to the game..can't u see what Shehu does for us. If Echiejile offers half of that, I won't be criticizing him...against cameroun, balogun covered for him a lot..against technical and tactical teams at the world cup, they would exploit echiejile to the fullest..

All have been asking so far is what does Echiejile truly offer the SE presently, we can point any RB on that team and point out what they offer..

He wasn't man marking anybody but he was in 1v1 situations with those guys and pretty much shut them down for the whole match. I am not making a claim for Uwa because that would be a tough sell seeing where he plays but let us not act like him locking up Mahrez and Basagog didn't happen.

I do think so also..he offers more for a forward..he just needs to improve his finishing and decision making..i watched this guy live, he is definitely got talent..

Sir was it not the same sadiq of Olympics, the sadiq of Roma loaned to Torino and couldn't find his feet now in dutch league,a league that Ogbeche is tearing apart,so sadiq is now better than Ighalo.

He is pretty skilful for a forward, he is pretty quick for a guy that tall..he offers something different to our other forwards..the problem I have always had with him is his decision making. .i know that would get better with age...

He is fast, skillful, can evade is marker, dribble, physical presence has a 9 which means he can play a lone forward..I can list more, actually there is rumour Chelsea wants to sign him..he is Chelsea kind of striker..lol..but I know they would loan him cos of work permit..

Jordon Ibe should be removed cos is an English player but you accept Uduokhai Felix who is Germany youth international and surprisedly you accept Torunarigha a German youth international who just rejected Nigeria.

Pls on Ighalo it seems you are waiting for this friendly to nail the young man.

I will advice you to go and watch Poland and Serbia match again and point out Ighalo's fault then i will keep quiet.

Pls go to Facebook and type green eagles hq and watch the match.

Ighalo is the best top 9 we have right now..too be honest I would rather have Ighalo has a forward than nacho because of his hold up play..I'm a nacho fan boy***

We play with skilful inverted forwards, you need a striker that can hold up play and bring them into the game..that's why I think Sodiq can be a back up to Ighalo, we should just let nacho be a SS OR AMF..
