Jordon Ibe should be removed cos is an English player but you accept Uduokhai Felix who is Germany youth international and surprisedly you accept Torunarigha a German youth international who just rejected Nigeria.

Pls on Ighalo it seems you are waiting for this friendly to nail the young man.

I will advice you to go and watch Poland and Serbia match again and point out Ighalo's fault then i will keep quiet.

Pls go to Facebook and type green eagles hq and watch the match.
Ighalo is the best top 9 we have right now..too be honest I would rather have Ighalo has a forward than nacho because of his hold up play..I'm a nacho fan boy***

We play with skilful inverted forwards, you need a striker that can hold up play and bring them into the game..that's why I think Sodiq can be a back up to Ighalo, we should just let nacho be a SS OR AMF..

bad sarcasm.. it's not like Ighalo has been on fire anywhere on this earth.. Ighalo is good for Russia, but I think what the anti-Ighalo chant is sounding is that he is simply not good enough to start for us in Russia match after match going by his goals return.

korlahwarleh:
I'm very sure Poland will be looking for a better striker now, with that chance that lewandowski missed against common Uzoho.
Lewandowski is just over hyped. He's not world cup material yet.

Why Ndidi Will Miss At Least Two Games Not One, Leicester Boss Reacts To Red Card

Wilfred Ndidi will not be available for selection in Leicester City's next two domestic fixtures after he was sent off against
Brighton & Hove on Saturday afternoon.

Since Ndidi did not receive a straight red card against the Seagulls, he would have been suspended for only one game under normal circumstances but the central midfielder was dismissed against Crystal Palace in December 2017 and will be banned for a further game by the English FA as today's red was his second of the season.

Leicester Mercury has added that the two-game ban could be extended yet further if it's deemed the Nigeria international did not leave the pitch within a reasonable amount of time after he was red carded in the 87th minute.

Reacting to Ndidi's sending off post-match, Foxes manager Claude Puel has opined that the Nigerian did not deserve to be sent off as he made contact with the ball.

The Frenchman told reporters : ''For me, he doesn't touch the player. He touch the ball and it changed direction. It's tough to lose this player, he's very valuable and he's tough in midfield''.

It is confirmed that Ndidi will not be included in the match day squads when Leicester City face Newcastle United (April 7) and Burnley (April 14).

Ighalo contributes a lot in all round play. But hey if we can get a better scorer for Russia, why not? there are a few we can add to the 35 man list just to see what they can do.. it won't hurt anyone, except probably our future opponents.

Ighalo's goals to games ratio for us is woeful considering his position.

Maybe as a defender, he would be greatly appreciated, but his return is far too poor for a point man

He wasn't man marking anybody but he was in 1v1 situations with those guys and pretty much shut them down for the whole match. I am not making a claim for Uwa because that would be a tough sell seeing where he plays but let us not act like him locking up Mahrez and Basagog didn't happen.

Too be honest, I would rather have Rohr start echiejile against England because of their fast play style of play..I want to see how he would cope...I can't just pinpoint what exactly he brings to this team anymore..

Not as skillful as Ighalo and cannot get past defenders as easily as Ighalo does. The man had a dribble named after him for Pete sake.

It seems it has been a while you watched sadiq play..I went to the stadium last year to watch him against PSG..what sadiq can do with his skills and pace, Ighalo can't do it..I don't think you have an idea how quick he is for a guy that tall..

Sodiq is young and his decision making is not the best yet, that's the only reason I don't clamour for him..

Actually the main coaching official directly involved is no longer influential in the NFF. But they old wounds.

If he gets called up its simply merit and can not be ignored the same way you can not ignore Obagoal and his hat trick yesterday.

Haven't spoken to Ibe in a long time well since last year and he wasn't interested then.

Dint know if the lure of the world cup has changed that.

You are spot on.. I rate him higher than the other young strikers coming up....

Ighalo's return is very poor in the Super eagles. Good work rate but does not have a good scoring rate. Kelechi is more lethal as he needs just a few chances to score.

It might be too late for Sadiq but certainly one for the future.

I hope Ighalo can hit a rich run of form in the WC proper

Ighalo is skillful but fairly stationary..

This is Umar vs Champions League Feyenord

Already seen this and I watched him in Italy before he was loaned out. I am not disputing his talent but comparing him to Ighalo is not right especially if we are talking about skills and ability to beat a man 1v1. Sadiq is fast, tall and a very good player in his own right but Ighalo is at an higher level right now

Sadiq certainly has areas to improve upon.. He is not the finished article.

I hope Ighalo can hit his best form at the WC.

Bro Sadiq is not new to me. I have been following him since he broke into Roma 1st team under Rudi Garcia. This conversation is not about if the boy is talented or not because we already know that but he does not at this point have more to offer than Ighalo.

I'm sure its either he aggravated that injury or he wasn't playing well at full capacity...

That groin injury is not an injury that can go in 2weeks..its still lingering there..I hope his club can manage him well to recover fully...if anything give him proper 2 weeks rest and he should go the gym and put some weight on that groin..it would make it heal faster

Abeg we don't need hype or Ibe whatever his name is..he is just an average player, I don see the guy finish.. Nothing special he is gonna offer the SE...most of his direct running have no end product(Moses Simon 2.0) we don't need another one in the team..

Let him keep waiting for the queens call, he would surely get it when he is 40..

Where did you get the news from that he was injured? The last time i check injured player dont pass fitness check.

Depending on the nature of the injury, a player that is not 100% can pass a fitness test.

Today's game proved that he is still carrying something.

I think you have chewed the kolanut at the right spot. I don't know what Ighalo did wrong over the two games. He's been accused of missing 'begging chances'. Shey you see how we analyse football here. Midfield was flat, how then could Ighalo get supplies?

Granted Ighalo's goal returns have been poor in the SE but in the last five games he played I've not seen what wrong he's done.

Ighalo has 2 goals in 9 competitive games.. His return has never been great for Nigeria

We need him to somehow flip a light switch for this WC. Sometimes strikers feed on scraps and have to make their chances or make use of half chances.

I watched Ighalo's game yesterday and he had plenty of service without results.

Iheanacho on a bad day, needs a half chance or set piece to score but he is not getting as many games at club level.

Musa is yet to hit tip-top shape in russia.

Those are our three strikers.. If Kelechi is out, the chances of scoring drops significantly and we will have to depend on Moses, Iwobi and even Mikel for goals.

Ighalo needs to find his early watford form this WC. In Watford, he made some goals for himself.

Musa is out of rhythm. Agreed on the overall output of Ighalo but in the immediate context of his last five games I don't think he's done badly. Yes he should do more. He needs to.
