Opposing God by waylaying humans, directing humans to do evil, not carrying jollof rice in front of God to tempt him to eat it. Lol. He tempts God's creation not God himself directly

Quoting chronology of events and calling it contradiction. If in 2014 I said Jonathan was the president of Nigeria and in 2016 I said the president was Buhari, how is that contradiction? This is the simplest analogy of what you call contradiction. For instance, the original creation of man is different from how man later started reproducing, pls how is this contradiction? Continue deceiving yourself.

ONE THING I HATE ABOUT CHRISTIANS IS THEIR DOGMATIC INTERPRETATION OF USING AN UNCLEAR VERSE TO ANSWER A CLEAR QUESTION WHICH REQUIRES CLEAR AND UNABIGIOUS ANSWER...

JESUS(PBUH) CLEARLY SAYS IN THE BIBLE "THE ONLY TRUE GOD IS THE FATHER (john 10:30)

MY QUESTION: IS JESUS THE FATHER?

THIS CLEARLY SAYS THAT ONLY GOD THE FATHER IS THE TRUE GOD OTHERS ARE NOT. (PLS LOOK AT THE WORD "ONLY" WHICH MEANS JUST THE FATHER)

THIS IS A CLEAR CUT UNAMBIGIOUS, EXPLICIT VERSE THAT CLEARLY FROM JESUSES MOUTH SAYING HE IS NOT GOD BUT ONLY THE FATHER IS.

OYA WATCH THE WAY THEY WILL COUNTER THIS WITH VERSES DAT ARE NOT CLEAR FOR US TO SEE ESPEVIALLY VERSES THAT WASNT QUOTED BY JESUS HIMSELF. HYPOCRITES

How many times are we going to say this?

Jesus is the manifestation of God in the Physical.

He referred to the Unseen, Invincible and Almighty God .

He is HIS physical form. He is God.

I understand it so easily. Without stress, without bias, without an iota of doubt.

Why they don't see it as I do beats my imagination.

The holy Spirit helps in this case. If you don't have him, you will never understand Spiritual things.

Jesus said,. I have a lot of things to tell you.but you can't bear them now

I guess that's why something that is this clear is still vague to a lot of people.

When Jesus was crucified, he took upon himself the whole sins of mankind. God hates sin, so imagine how He felt when Jesus bore the sins of the world. It made Him forsake Jesus at that moment. Jesus was God made manifest in the flesh. The Sins which Jesus took upon Himself made God to forsake His manifestation at that moment. That manifestation had to cry back to the source which later resurrected him.

Jesus is not a representation of God but God Himself as The Word of God!

This doesn't mean Jesus is the entire God Himself.

Why most people do confuse the term of God for Jesus is because they don't understand it's about NATURE.

It is common these days to see people posing a question to Christians on social media and even in debates with the question always in one same manner. The question usually comes from Atheists, Jews, Muslims and even heretic Christians. They wonder why we see Jesus as God and worship him.

So they ask "Show me Where Jesus said "I am God worship me?" in those exact words.

You might become confused at this moment if you are not smart. Yes, you know you can't find anywhere in the Bible where Jesus said such in those exact words, so you might be quick to quote some classical verses that show Jesus Christ is God.

Well, the person asking that question has been trained in such a way that no matter the amount of verses you quote, he won't believe you unless you show him where Jesus said "I am God worship me" in those exact words. Now he has boxed you in the "exact words" corner. The only way you can get out is to pull him into the corner to make him see how stupid it is dealing with exact words. I bet you, he will be the one to open the door for the both of you to leave the corner once he realises how stupid it is. How do you do that? You flip the question back at him. You say...

"I'll be willing to show where Jesus said 'I am God worship me' in those exact words only if you can show me where he said 'I am only a prophet, do not worship me' in those exact same words. At that moment, he will start to realise the error of requesting for exact same words. To stamp it on him, if he's a Muslim that believes according to the Quran that Jesus was born of a virgin, then ask him to show you in the Quran or Bible where Jesus said "I am born of a virgin" in those exact same words. If he can't, then it means his belief that Jesus was born of a virgin is false.

The idea behind the above is to ensure you are not dealing with exact words. If the Jew, atheist, Muslim or heretic Christian can't show you anywhere in the Bible or Quran or any book where Jesus said these exact words "I am only a prophet, do not worship me" or "I am born of a virgin", then it means he shouldn't require of you to show him where Jesus said the exact same words "I am God worship me".

Once you have passed that, you can now ask a more reasonable question.

WHERE AND HOW DID JESUS CLAIM TO BE GOD?

According to the Jews, Christians and Muslims, there are certain claims only God can make. All 3 religious beliefs hold the same view about God in that regard. That is why I am going to use the Old Testament, the New Testament and the Quran to see if Jesus made claims that only God can make.

1. Who is the "First and the Last"?

Let's start by quoting the Quran

Sura 57:3
He is the FIRST and the LAST, and the Outward (His signs appear on all His creatures) and the Inward (Hidden). And He is the All-Knower of everything.

Now let's read from the Old Testament

Isaiah 44:6
New International Version
"This is what the LORD says-- Israel's King and Redeemer, the LORD Almighty: I am the FIRST and I am the LAST; apart from me there is no God.

Since both the Quran and the Bible agree that God is the First and the Last, should a prophet refer to himself as such? But that is what Jesus Christ did in the verse below.

Revelations 1:17-18
When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said: “Do not be afraid. I am the FIRST and the LAST. I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.

Can you tell us what Jesus meant when he took a title that can only be applied to God and applied it to himself? If he wasn't claiming to be God, then what was he doing?

psalm 110:1 might help u

The request to be glorified shows that he had cast aside his glory and was on earth walking with humans. He longed for when He will return and wear the glory again.

Mind you, glory is different from glory. If Jesus said all that the Father has are His, then it means if God can control the angels, He can as well. Where did you see the disciples controlling the angels? Can you now see that glory is different from glory?

I assume you have evidence showing he cast his glory aside? Otherwise this is just circular reasoning.
The bible says Jesus was appointed heir of all things.
Flash news: If you're God no one appoints you heir of anything because you own it already. How can you be appointed heir to something you already have?
Appoint means you did not have it before. God has everything before time and space. You see this?
Ask yourself: how does the eternal God who owns everything gets appointed something from God? or from someone else?

As regards your last point there's no argument here at all. Jesus requested for the same glory which he received from the father to be given to the disciples as well.

Using your logic they must be Gods too.

Those person described as "king of kings" are world powers. American government today is one of such. They have strong authority and power to demote, suppress or even destroy oda kings (rulers). Daniel 2:37 clearly describes Nebuchadnezer as such. Besides, sharing title with anoda does not amount to having the same authority as dat oda

This is special pleading. Using proof texting, I can simply deify a bunch of folks in the scripture simply because they share the same title with God.
You realize the bible says God is the only saviour but there are other verses in scriptures where God raises other humans as saviours to accomplish his will.

4. Who is "The Truth"?

King David referred to God as TRUTH.

Psalm 31:5
Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O LORD God of TRUTH.[/b

The Quran also affirms God to be the TRUTH. As a matter of fact, that is one of the 99 names of Allah.

[b]Sura 22:6
That is because Allah, He is the TRUTH, and it is He Who gives life to the dead, and it is He Who is Able to do all things.

Now, knowing fully well that God is referred to as the TRUTH, would a prophet sent by the same God also ascribe that to himself? That is what Jesus did in the verse below.

John 14:6
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the TRUTH and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

At this point, don't you find it strange that Jesus keeps applying the names of God to himself?

5. Who raises the dead?

The Bible and the Quran both agree that God is the only one who raises the dead.

1 Samuel 2:6
"The LORD brings death and makes alive; he brings down to the grave and raises up.

In the Quran...

Sura 22:7
: And [know, O man] that the Last Hour is bound to come, beyond any doubt, and that God will [indeed] resurrect all who are in their graves.

Since God is the one to resurrect the dead on the day of resurrection, would we expect a mere prophet to make the same claim of resurrecting the dead? But that is what Jesus did in the verse below.

John 5:25-29 New International Version (NIV)
Very truly I tell you, a time is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live. For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself. And he has given him authority to judge because he is the Son of Man.
“Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice and come out—those who have done what is good will rise to live, and those who have done what is evil will rise to be condemned.

Jesus even called himself the resurrection and the life

John 11:25
Jesus said to her, "I am the RESURRECTION and the LIFE. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die;

If Jesus was only a prophet, wouldn't this be blasphemy? How come he proved it by resurrecting Lazarus

Jesus was not the only prophet that raised up the dead prophet musa (alayhis salam) did the same thing and this time it was 70 isrealites he brought back to life. only by the will of allah

Accounts of people raised from the dead:

1. Elijah raised the son of the Zarephath widow from the dead (1 Kings 17:17-22 ).

2. Elisha raised the son of the Shunammite woman from the dead ( 2 Kings 4:32-35 ).

How would you react to this:

Contradictions in the Qur'an

The Qur'an states that it is a perfect book preserved otablets in heaven (Surah 85:21-22). If the Qur'an is a
perfect book from Allah, then there shouldn't be any
contradictions in it. Of course, the Muslims will deny
any contradictions exist in the Qur'an, but they do.
Some of the contradictions below could be debated, but
some of them are clearly contradictions.
A contradiction occurs when one statement on a
subject excludes the possibility of another. The first
one here is a good example. In Surah 19:67, it states
that man was created out of nothing. In 15:26, man is
created from clay. Since clay is something, we have a
contradiction since "nothing" excludes the possibility of
"clay." Both cannot be true.
All quotes from the Qur'an, unless otherwise specified,
are from Yusuf Ali and can be found at the Qur'an
online.
1. What was man created from: blood, clay, dust, or
nothing?
1. "Created man, out of a (mere) clot of
congealed blood," (96:2).
2. "We created man from sounding cla y, from
mud moulded into shape, (15:26).
3. "The similitude of Jesus before Allah is as
that of Adam; He created him from dust ,
then said to him: "Be". And he was," (3:59).
4. "But does not man call to mind that We
created him before out of nothing ?" (19:67,
Yusuf Ali). Also, 52:35).
5. "He has created man from a sperm-drop ;
and behold this same (man) becomes an
open disputer! (16:4).
2. Is there or is there not compulsion in religion
according to the Qur'an?
1. "Let there be no compulsion in religion :
Truth stands out clear from Error: whoever
rejects evil and believes in Allah hath
grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold,
that never breaks. And Allah heareth and
knoweth all things," (2:256).
2. "And an announcement from Allah and His
Messenger , to the people (assembled) on
the day of the Great Pilgrimage,--that Allah
and His Messenger dissolve (treaty)
obligations with the Pagans. If then, ye
repent, it were best for you; but if ye turn
away, know ye that ye cannot frustrate
Allah. And proclaim a grievous penalty to
those who reject Faith ," (9:3).
3. "But when the forbidden months are past,
then fight and slay the Pagans wherever ye
find them, and seize them, beleaguer them,
and lie in wait for them in every stratagem
(of war); but if they repent, and establish
regular prayers and practice regular charity,
then open the way for them: for Allah is Oft-
forgiving, Most Merciful," (9:5).
4. Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the
Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath
been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger,
nor acknowledge the religion of Truth , (even
if they are) of the People of the Book, until
they pay the Jizya with willing submission,
and feel themselves subdued," (9:29).
3. The first Muslim was Muhammad? Abraham?
Jacob? Moses?
1. "And I [Muhammad] am commanded to be
the first of those who bow to Allah in
Islam ," (39:12).
2. "When Moses came to the place appointed
by Us , and his Lord addressed him, He said:
"O my Lord! show (Thyself) to me, that I
may look upon thee." Allah said: "By no
means canst thou see Me (direct); But look
upon the mount; if it abide in its place, then
shalt thou see Me." When his Lord
manifested His glory on the Mount, He made
it as dust. And Moses fell down in a swoon.
When he recovered his senses he said:
"Glory be to Thee! to Thee I turn in
repentance, and I am the first to
believe ." (7:143).
3. "And this was the legacy that Abraham left
to his sons, and so did Jacob; "Oh my sons!
Allah hath chosen the Faith for you; then die
not except in the Faith of Islam ," (2:132).
4. Does Allah forgive or not forgive those who
worship false gods?
1. Allah forgiveth not that partners should be
set up with Him ; but He forgiveth anything
else, to whom He pleaseth; to set up
partners with Allah is to devise a sin Most
heinous indeed," (4:48). Also 4:116
2. The people of the Book ask thee to cause a
book to descend to them from heaven:
Indeed they asked Moses for an even
greater (miracle), for they said: "Show us
Allah in public," but they were dazed for
their presumption, with thunder and
lightning. Yet they worshipped the calf even
after clear signs had come to them; even so
we forgave them ; and gave Moses manifest
proofs of authority," (4:153).
5. Are Allah's decrees changed or not?
1. "Rejected were the messengers before thee:
with patience and constancy they bore their
rejection and their wrongs, until Our aid did
reach them: there is none that can alter the
words (and decrees) of Allah . Already hast
thou received some account of those
messengers," (6:34).
2. "The word of thy Lord doth find its
fulfillment in truth and in justice: None can
change His words: for He is the one who
heareth and knoweth all, (6:115).
3. None of Our revelations do We abrogate or
cause to be forgotten, but We substitute
something better or similar : Knowest thou
not that Allah Hath power over all
things?" (2:106).
4. When We substitute one revelation for
another,- and Allah knows best what He
reveals (in stages),- they say, "Thou art but
a forger": but most of them understand
not," (16:101).
6. Was Pharaoh killed or not killed by drowning?
1. "We took the Children of Israel across the
sea: Pharaoh and his hosts followed them
in insolence and spite. At length, when
overwhelmed with the flood, he said: "I
believe that there is no god except Him
Whom the Children of Israel believe in: I am
of those who submit (to Allah in Islam) . (It
was said to him): "Ah now!- But a little
while before, wast thou in rebellion!- and
thou didst mischief (and violence)! This day
shall We save thee in the body, that thou
mayest be a sign to those who come after
thee! but verily, many among mankind are
heedless of Our Signs!" (10:90-92).
2. Moses said, "Thou knowest well that these
things have been sent down by none but the
Lord of the heavens and the earth as eye-
opening evidence: and I consider thee
indeed, O Pharaoh , to be one doomed to
destruction!" So he resolved to remove
them from the face of the earth: but We did
drown him and all who were with
him," (17:102-103).
7. Is wine consumption good or bad?
1. O ye who believe! Intoxicants and gambling,
(dedication of) stones, and (divination by)
arrows, are an abomination,--of Satan's
handwork: eschew such (abomination), that
ye may prosper," (5:90).
2. (Here is) a Parable of the Garden which the
righteous are promised: in it are rivers of
water incorruptible; rivers of milk of which
the taste never changes; rivers of wine , a
joy to those who drink; and rivers of honey
pure and clear. In it there are for them all
kinds of fruits; and Grace from their Lord.
(Can those in such Bliss) be compared to
such as shall dwell forever in the Fire, and
be given, to drink, boiling water, so that it
cuts up their bowels (to pieces)?" (47:15).
3. Truly the Righteous will be in Bliss: On
Thrones (of Dignity) will they command a
sight (of all things): Thou wilt recognize in
their faces the beaming brightness of Bliss.
Their thirst will be slaked with Pure Wine
sealed ," (83:22-25).

Now u dont understand d verses, u falsely quote verses, u cherrypick without giving sight to preceding and next verses where conditions are always stated.

Now i am going to show that there is no contradiction. but u cant prove yours to me

In order:
this is Quran 19:67 Does the human being not remember that We created him before, when he was nothing?
[Quran, 19:67] created him
when he was nothing, the Quran did not say he was created from nothing.

Did God not create Adam from clay?
What were u created frm, a sperm that became a clot of blood (congealed)in your mothers womb? So yes the Quran can say sperm and still say clot because sperm turned into clot, so they are d same thing. are they contradicting.. it is merely stages.

this is Quran 52:35

Or were they created out of nothing? Or are they the creators?
[Quran, 52:35]

2. this is Quran 9:3
this is And a proclamation from Allah and His Messenger to the people on the day of the Greater Pilgrimage, that Allah has disowned the polytheists, and so did His Messenger. If you repent, it will be better for you. But if you turn away, know that you cannot escape Allah. And announce to those who disbelieve a painful punishment.
[Quran, 9:3]

this is d next verse Quran 9:4

Except for those among the polytheists with whom you had made a treaty, and did not violate any of its terms, nor aided anyone against you. So fulfill the treaty with them to the end of its term. Allah loves the righteous.
[Quran, 9:4]

(can u see now that u cherry pick without giving sight to d next or previous verse, dat is what isis, alqaeda do, maybe u are one of dem)

Now u need to understand that the polytheists(arab pagans) violated the treaty in existence, dat is why dis next verse was revealed. and still the previous verse holds ground

Quran 9:5
When the Sacred Months have passed, kill the polytheists wherever you find them. And capture them, and besiege them, and lie in wait for them at every ambush. But if they repent, and perform the prayers, and pay the alms, then let them go their way. Allah is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful.
[Quran, 9:5]

Before u say jack, dis is d next verse, another condition Quran 9:6

And if anyone of the polytheists asks you for protection, give him protection so that he may hear the Word of Allah; then escort him to his place of safety. That is because they are a people who do not know.
[Quran, 9:6]

How can there be a treaty with the polytheists on the part of Allah and His Messenger, except for those with whom you made a treaty at the Sacred Mosque? As long as they are UPRIGHT with you, be UPRIGHT with them. Allah loves the pious.
[Quran, 9:7]
can u see i highlighted upright, dat is anoda condition meaning if they dont fight u, dont fight them.. any contradiction

Quran 9:29
Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the
Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath
been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger,
nor acknowledge the religion of Truth , (even
if they are) of the People of the Book, until
they pay the Jizya with willing submission,
and feel themselves subdued," (9:29).

Please if u owe tax in lagos abi land use, wud LIRS or FIRS not fight u and subdue you till u pay the tax.

mind u jizya is a tax levied on a non muslim under the protection of a muslim government. if u dont pay your tax, u wud be subdued into paying it shikeena.
The Prophet(S.A.W) lived among jews and christians in medina. now u know if u did not know.

Quran 39:12
And I was commanded to be the first of those who submit.”
[Quran, 39:12]
Those who submit among his people (arabs) because he is not the first to believe in One God, and the Quran did not say first of those who submit amongst d whole of mankind.

And when Moses came to Our appointment, and his Lord spoke to him, he said, “My Lord, allow me to look and see You.” He said, “You will not see Me, but look at the mountain; if it stays in its place, you will see Me.” But when his Lord manifested Himself to the mountain, He turned it into dust, and Moses fell down unconscious. Then, when he recovered, he said, “Glory be to you, I repent to you, and I am the first of the believers.”
[Quran, 7:143]

same thing first to believe among his people, Quran did not say first of the whole mankind. Noah believed in One God before him.

What is Islam? Is the Belief and submission to One God, belief in his Prophets, his books, his angels(b4 u twist dis, it is belief in their existence), to give zakat(obligatory, very compulsory) out of your wealth, establish 5 daily prayers, embark on hajj(pilgrimage) only if u have d means i.e money and sustenace for your family.

Quran 4:48
Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives anything less than that to whomever He wills. Whoever associates anything with Allah has devised a monstrous sin.
[Quran, 4:48]

Yes he does not forgive if they die in disbelief as evident in d following verses of that same chapter

Repentance is available from Allah for those who commit evil out of ignorance, and then repent soon after. These—Allah will relent towards them. Allah is Knowing and Wise.
[Quran, 4:17]. Any kind of evil

But repentance is not available for those who commit evils, until when death approaches one of them, he says, “Now I repent,” nor for those who DIE as disbelievers. These—We have prepared for them a painful torment.
[Quran, 4:18]
can u see it in 4:18.

Pharoah
And We delivered the Children of Israel across the sea. Pharaoh and his troops pursued them, defiantly and aggressively. Until, when he was about to drown, he said, “I believe that there is no god except the One the Children of Israel believe in, and I am of those who submit.”
[Quran, 10:90]

Now? When you have rebelled before, and been of the mischief-makers?
[Quran, 10:91]

u see That God did not accept his repentance because he said in Quran 4:18

But repentance is not available for those who commit evils, until when death approaches one of them, he says, “Now I repent,” nor for those who die as disbelievers. These—We have prepared for them a painful torment.
[Quran, 4:18]

this is Quran 10:92
Today We will preserve your body, so that you become a sign for those after you. But most people are heedless of Our signs.
[Quran, 10:92]
i mean those verses are clear enough to any logical minded person.
And i am very sure it is dead bodies that are preserved not living ones!!!

Finally the last one

This is Quran 5:90

O you who believe! INTOXICANTS, gambling, idolatry, and divination are abominations of Satan’s doing. Avoid them, so that you may prosper.
[Quran, 5:90]

i capitalized intoxicants, please let me ask you are all wines alcholic

i am pretty sure that there are non alcoholic wines and beverages in this world. abi wetin b fruit wine

if u dont understand English, thus is Quran 47:15

The likeness of the Garden promised to the righteous: in it are rivers of pure water, and rivers of milk forever fresh, and rivers of wine delightful to the drinkers, and rivers of strained honey. And therein they will have of every fruit, and forgiveness from their Lord. Like one abiding in the Fire forever, and are given to drink boiling water, that cuts-up their bowels?
[Quran, 47:15]

do u see intoxicant wine or alcoholic wine in the verses u quoted

any contradictions

I have refuted and made clear all your claims satisfactory and logically, but u cant and have not refuted mine, what u give is "we should believe even though there are contradictions".

But truth never has contradictions it was always plain truth.. TAINK YOU. LOL!!!

I assume you have evidence showing he cast his glory aside? Otherwise this is just circular reasoning.

Was Jesus started to exist on earth or He existed in heaven before He came to earth?

The bible says Jesus was appointed heir of all things.
Flash news: If you're God no one appoints you heir of anything because you own it already. How can you be appointed heir to something you already have?
Appoint means you did not have it before. God has everything before time and space. You see this?
Ask yourself: how does the eternal God who owns everything gets appointed something from God? or from someone else?

Was Jesus appointed heir of anything while in heaven or only when He was on earth?

This is the problem you people have with the scripture, inability to distinguish when Bible is talking about The Word of God (Jesus) in heaven and His mission on earth which He achieved through Human nature.

As regards your last point there's no argument here at all. Jesus requested for the same glory which he received from the father to be given to the disciples as well.

Using your logic they must be Gods too.

This is how you people always twist the scripture.

Jesus didn't say He 'RECEIVED GLORY' but He 'HAD/SHARED GLORY' with the Father BEFORE THE WORLD BEGAN

NOTE: This thing happened even before the WORLD began!

How can a being shared glory with God if the being isn't God?

BlueScholar:

God didn't enter the burning bush, he just use it as a medium to talk with Moses just as we use phones/internet as a medium to talk with each other

Good point. I think the problem with argument these days is because people refuse to accurately define the words they use.

Saying God being manifest through a burning bush implies he had to be physically appear there is a limitation on his power.

Like your analogy above he can simply choose to talk through the burning bush while in heaven.

This is special pleading. Using proof texting, I can simply deify a bunch of folks in the scripture simply because they share the same title with God.
You realize the bible says God is the only saviour but there are other verses in scriptures where God raises other humans as saviours to accomplish his will.
What type of saviours wr they? Saviours from sin or from the general dangers and pitfalls of life? That they were so named or so described did not mean they were not not same capacity with Jesus, as shown in Acts 4:12.
