Just one goal doesn't necessarily mean he's back.
A goal in 3mins of his debut says much.

Failed to utilize chance?
We hardly create one
so all the matches he has been playing...we have not been creating chances...?
then how come someone like nancho could get a good goal record....?

his finishing and positional prowess need to ha looked into....so poor of a top 9.

Sir Humility,Ighalo is not good enough and you don't want Martins but you preferred Dessers and Sadiq better to add Osimhen, Awoniyi, Kalu,Onuachu, Olayinka and possibly we can find solution..

senior man...names don't play football but talent, skills and techniques do....
those two aforementioned names up there...have nothing new to bring to the table....I have watched Ighalo play severally...he is a kind of striker that is not consistent and abeit unreliable.

You attributed his falling down to stamina and all I did was tell you it wasn't stamina he lacked...I understand all concepts bro...I might not have gone full pro bro but I played to the highest level has a student..
height my friend, height. Sadiq falls easily because of his height. He has a high centre of gravity unlike the short Messi who has a low centre of gravity. It's like a racing car and lorry speeding round a bend. Who do you think will fall easily with the slightest touch. So you are right, he's falling got nothing to do with stamina.

I know names don't play football but talent does it,hope to see Rohr invite Sadiq and Dessers then we talk better about football.

his positioning sometimes Rob him of those chances

Ighalo positioning and finishing is very poor...
those are the 2 core attributes of a good striker....
we need a forward with this two traits..every other thing can come after...

So how come against Cameroon Mikel could find Ighalo without even looking? People cross nonsense and you are trying to blame the striker. I said this about Kelechi against SA, the problem is not the striker but the service.

Sir i think Ighalo caps is not much for you to let us know those chances created and missed by him.

Truly his goal ratio was not good enough but we need to balance things up.

I remember King KANU Nwankwo had 87 caps with 12 goals, five afcons with no goals and three WC no goals despite his very poor goal ratio with eagles, fans still balance things up to rate him.

Pls let us know Ighalo all round stats with eagles, goals, assists then we can justify your submission on him.

Aaron Samuel has improved immensely! I was very skeptical his call up based his performances in China, but based on recent performances he looks very fit, dynamic, strong, Hardworking and can score goals. I hope he gets to score more before the World Cup, it's in his hands.

And that's we attribute to balance..there are tall players with good balance also..ex..dzeko is I think 6ft4in and he has good balance for his height...Sodiq's balance can still improve, there is time.

I feel Sadiq can still offer us something unique with his height and pace...but I doubt he would get invited..

Nacho doesn't need a lot of chances to score..he is very lethal as a forward...Ighalo can score goals but he is not lethal..he might miss a few chances b4 he actually scores...

The best is Rohr plays nacho has a false 9 in a single striker system that way his weakness at holding up play would not be obvious..

Haha, football can be very funny.

The same Samuel Kalu can make a debut now and be making wayward crosses.

What have we not heard on this thread? It is always that player that has not been invited that is always the best.

I just clicked like now, that is very true smiley

Ighalo is just an average finisher, he is not lethal at all...yes he finished against cameroun but put in different scoring position and you would see his weakness when it comes to finishing..

That goal iwobi scored against Zambia, I doubt Ighalo would score it..some players just have the killer instinct in them, that's Nacho for you..b4 he went pro, he already knows how to score goals without much training..those are naturals..

Personally I still prefer Ighalo to be our striker because of the system we play..his hold up play would be needed badly..

You think If ighalo was a dependable goal threat we would be clamouring for more strikers?
You think gernot will be looking for a striker desperately for competition if he were satisfied with ighalo?
BTW Aaron has been in the eagles set up, suggesting him makes sense, based on current form he's better than ighalo

So now we are saying Iwobi is a better finisher than Ighalo? Pls lets get real here, even that goal would not have been scored if Ighalo had not thrown off the keeper. Without Ighalo in the way we are talking about a routine save down the middle.

ability to run without falling depends on your knowledge of biomechanics ... the science has to do with stamina and body balance ...managing the body with the ability to withstand internal forces and balancing the body with the external impact that will hinder the body from moving .... Peter Crouch is far taller than sadiq Umar and he doesnt fall any how ... he has the right stamina which is proportional to his physical built ... and he could withstand the external forces .....

Gent: Anderlecht.... Some of the crosses by Samuel Kalu are top, top quality... Ground and air crosses. He is your old-school winger..

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PZsXvKVYqaI

When you say old school winger I feel like you are underating the guy, this guy is very skillful and can pass opponents with ease, I watched the full match yesterday and saw that he crosses when necessary and cuts in when needed, dude is intelligent with the balls, he was hardly dispossessed.

He is a winger that reads the game easily not one that crosses when no one will be there.
But currently we dont have striker in SE that can utilize crosses, Ighalo is not that pls.

I was one of those against keshi giving him a call up...but he went to prove me wrong....

The same way Lukaku, Marko Arnautović, Balotelli, Llorente, Giroud, Pogba, Ibrahimovic, Tega Abrahams keep falling over any time anybody comes near them.

Very very weak excuse even that Dogonyaro Lacina Traoré, 2 metres ➕ tall does not fall the way he does.

I think the problem may be his feet not just balance and I am looking at severe case of flat feet or something else.

you're getting the message wrongly...
no one is asking for his automatical call up...
we are not happy with the super eagles midfield and striking dept....presently.
so any player Doing well club side especaliy in Europe should be looked into and tried...to beef up the team.

this guy has something working for him....I will want him to be invited if he keeps up with this performance....
