Awards are often about votes not who is better.

Junior Ajayi beat Mane for the CAF team of the year. He is certainly not better than Mane.

Also, it is who performed in the year under review . A better player can have an underwhelming year.

Moses does not hold a a candle light to Mo' Salah. They are not even operating in the same stratosphere.
If you think I'm lying, ask Chelsea to swap Moses with Salah, they will bite your fingers off at such an offer.

This is a different Salah than we saw in Roma. Nobody on earth knew he would be this good. So don't use his latest success to put down ViMo because that is just not fair.

Ok, Salah was born this season. Let's conveniently forget he contributed about 32 goals (18 goals and 14 assists) playing for As Roma from the wings!!!

truthfully, he came and lighted up the EPL. It's not like he significantly improved.. He may have been a little underrated all this while.. This is the same man that singlehandedly stopped us from qualifying for AFCON. Moses is good.. But Salah belongs to the world class category.

Umar with more goals in fewer matches than Dresser?

Wow.. Is he that potent goalwise?

I watched the match he got injured in, it was Asian champions league match, he had about 2 shots on goal and won a PK before he was injured within 22 mins, got stretched out, that's where I knew it was severe.. they ended up drawing 2:2 from 2:0 up. If he was still on, I bet they wouldn't have won the game hands down against Kashima Antlers.
Kog45:
Sir,Obafemi Martins is not 45 years old.He went to Italy with my far younger cousin whom they are of the same age range through Churchill Oliseh.

He started at a very young age and luck to hit it straight at Inter Milan from Nigeria.Mind you Martins didn't play Nigeria league.

If Rohr feel that Martins can do it,let him come to camp and prove himself.

Modified.... unfortunately Martins is out for six months,so no WC chance for him.

Umar needs to maintain that superior goal per minute ratio. As it stands, a better way to compare them is by focussing on their current Eredivisie record.

Yes because they were 2:0 up within 25 mins of the first half, Martins contributed to both goals. After his removal, their attacking prowess reduced which gave Kashima space to draw level in the second half. Fredy Gurani couldn't do much to keep the lead.

How many professional seasons did Raba Maja and Joel Asoro play before u started clamoring for them?

Lol we don't forget easily bro grin

Joel Asoro and Maja were with Sunderland in the EPL and they made the bench some times. It is different from playing in league two.

Like I said, I am no longer monitoring FB players like before, so I did not follow Eze intensively.

I believe the league both of them are will only teach them how to score with less difficulty defense wise, will they be able to repeat same goal scoring ratio when they go to a better league?

I will still rate Umar ahead of Dresser because he came from a higher and more difficult league where he actually had some goals recorded to his name.

If Rohr is going to invite any new players, let him invite only Dele Aiyenugba and Austin Ejide. Granted that we need a true top striker, but I don't think that the 45 year old Obafemi Martins is going to be the answer.

As safarigirl would say, he's too young to feature in this world cup, let him wait for 2022 World Cup grin

Some people have a way of bringing people down just to promote other people. This statement is just an example of those people.

What on earth are u talking about? Where did I say that Salah was born this season? U are talking about 32 goals contributed in all competitions while the man has already scored 29 goals in the EPL. His 15 league goals last season was a career high, he has completely improved as a goal scorer. I watched him in Roma and he was not as prolific as he is now, missed a lot of chances tbh. If Roma knew he was capable of scoring 29 league goals he would have cost much more but he went for peanuts.

Odey part 2
Then he will slow down in the second half of the league.

Haba let the guy land first na. Well he is more mature than Odey and he won't have call ups to interrupt on his goal spree. Though I can't ignore that there is a possibility that u could end up being right but let's just enjoy him while it last.

Dessers is 23, he has arrived age-wise.. You never know what he might do if he moved to La Liga for example.. it's hard to really say.. which is why i'm not so strict on this league comparison thing..
Did Sadiq get lots of playing time in Serie A?

Modified
Take a look at Orji Okwonkwo
He had 3 goals from 10 matches in the serie A
This term he's not even scored a goal after 6 matches in Serie B, even though he has clocked more minutes.

You see what I mean? This is why i'm not big on league comparison.. it's all about player form and maybe other factors as well.

The only thing I can see slowing him down is the fact that he is so far ahead of everyone else which means there will be no one to push him.

Umar is not a lethal finisher, he is just ok but he offers a lot more as a forward..he has pace and very skillful for a guy that tall..his hold up play is good too...too be honest I don't mind him being our third striker, his unpredictability can cause a few upsets at the world cup...

If we can just get nachos finishing and download it into Sodiq's brain, I would take Sodiq ahead of Ighalo right away in our starting line up...

I don't think taking just Ighalo and nacho to world cup as our strikers is good..one of them would get injured at some point..and u can't really trust Musa..

if we are to talk of league comparism...then i believe those in Chinese league shouldn't be invited...because the Dutch league I believe is better technical than the Chinese league....
