hy. i need you advice please. i applied for an undergraduate degree precisely Economics in MUN canada for fall admission before the deadline . I am to send my ielts result and my waec directly from waec office before they cn give me an offer. the issue is that i applied to write my ielts exam on 7th of april but the British council made a mistake and now pushed my exam to 21st of april. now it take to weeks to get my result, that means the school will get the result on the 5th of may. Aldo it takes maximum of two week for the school to process my admission letter.. So is it late for me to apply for student visa by the end of may for september admission? I really need an urgent reply please. confused

Have you tried talking to your undergraduate assistant or admissions officer?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by jacintaflavian: 11:59am On Apr 05, 2018

It's not too late. You have enough time between may and September. Fortunately, the processing time now is encouraging. Don't be worried ☺

Unfortunately, your application can not be accepted due to limited seats in the M.Eng/PhD programs.

Reason for Not Admitting to the Program

Please is there anyone that has been waiting since December for his or her trv? undecided ... If the processing time is this short, why are they not done with those that submitted last year?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by makano: 3:58pm On Apr 05, 2018
Yours has passed the normal processing time. You need to write a letter to the embassy or you link your application online to know the actual status of your application.

Applying at the end of May for your Trv is good. The only problem I can forsee is the school offering consensus for your delayed result. If they are willing to wait, you are good!

Every case is different, some do not fit the normal processing time. Reminds of a guy called Abiodunne on this forum, whose application took one year. You can send Accra an email and prompt them incase they lost you in the cracks! This is the email address: accra.immigration@international.gc.ca

Oh well I still haven't officially heard from them. Although I reached out to some graduate supervisors at MUN Electrical Engineering Departnent recently, most of them replied to my mail stating that they were not taking masters students for the 2018 fall term, owing to reasons such as lack of funds and space. Regardless, I'm still hopeful, awaiting their official decision. I also think this delay is only peculiar to students that applied for M.Eng programs though, cos it comprises both course work and thesis, so attachement to research supervisors is required for the program. Fingers crossed!

Hi. CAQ is a document you need to be admitted into Quebec. I applied for mine 2 weeks ago and sent the hard copies of the documents to Quebec since 2 weeks but yet to get acknowledgement that they got it. It's a straightforward process. All you need is data page of your passport, a passport photogragh and copy of admission letter with a pay of CAD 105
