Ratawu: My guess would be Canada Lagos Study permit. Its a code in the tracking ID. Showing your application is being processed in lagos state, Nigeria |

It seems they have removed siblings information section from the family information form.... Or have I downloaded an incomplete document? Does this mean I need to include all my siblings birth certificates? Although I think my mum, husband and child are enough family information for home tities |

Hi all Please do most Canadain Universities accept PTE (Pearson Test) or is just IELTS academic? Which is easier IELTS academic or Pearsons Test or is there any other easeir test accpetable by most Canadian Universities? Can Pearson test be taken in Lagos Nigeria? Thank you. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by WEIRDPC(m): 9:05pm On Apr 06, 2018 |
micheallouis123: Link your application on cic account to see the final decision. Or just go and pick your passport in the application centre in Abuja, Nigeria. If its more than a 6 months study programme and you were not invited for medicals, Its a denial. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by WEIRDPC(m): 9:07pm On Apr 06, 2018 |
meelife: Why do you want to take the English test, most universities in Canada offer a waiver to applicants from Nigeria. Confirm the requirements of the school before you take the test and i dont think they use ielts. Most schools only accept TOEFL. Emphasis on "Most" |

wonder why most of these Canadian schools are taking time to notify applicants about the outcome of their application. The suspense is killing |

swisster: So sorry about that. Ordering for the GCMS notes is the right thing to do now. I feel your pain coz I have been denied too and I just reapplied taking my time to address the sole concerns of the previous visa officer. September is months away, you still have time to wait for the notes, repackage and refire. Dont you ever give up. 1 Like |

Hello Nairalander, I have been a silent reader. I need your help the seniors in the group. I am applying for a study permit for myself and visitors visa for my husband and kids as well. On one of the forms, specifically on the IMM 5832 E 1 for - on page 1 (Open study permit - for accompanying children aged 6- 18 years old - no separate application form is required) Does it mean that I do not need to fill a study permit form for my 1st son who is a minor and just clocked 6 years? Please i look forward to your response. Thanks |

Phocusjosh:Errm, It's quite understandable the explanation you seek regarding this email but i do not think it is appropriate to also display the name of the person you are to reach as well as her official email address. I suppose the email was in confidentiality and was meant for you not for everybody. Maybe an overview or a summary of the email content would have been appropriate rather than a lift from your email box. However, since you have displayed them already, i'd advise you remove both details(Name and official email) from your earlier post same to others that quoted the post. This is to also avoid her getting unofficial emails from readers that may want to take undue advantage as a result of this. |

Ratawu:"CA-Canada LA-Lagos STU"-Student. Mostly given as tracking number to online applicants who completed their biometrics in VFS Lagos. This does not however mean your application will be processed in Lagos( can be in Accra or anywhere else) Notwithstanding, if your application is approved, the Canadian visa office in Lagos will issue and stamp the visa foil on your passport upon request. I believe you applied online. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by Austinpee4: 2:24am On Apr 07, 2018 |
micheallouis123:Sadly, it appears your application has been refused as medical request is a requirement before issuance of a study permit for applicants from Nigeria with proposed program more than 6 months. You should await an email from VFS requesting you proceed to their office to collect your document. All the same, once you get the passport, you avail the house with the reason(s) for the refused application. Regards. 2 Likes |
