Neme20: You need to spend some time reading the past pages of this thread. After that, you can ask more specific questions or you would have seen that perhaps all your questions have been answered already in the past pages. |

geek: Thanks. So from Heathrow to Paddington to Oxford will only cost me approximately £26? |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by ekpotek: 10:11pm On Apr 04, 2018 |
geek: Yes you’re right. I went to oxford last in 2014, but thought I went through Victoria when it was actually Paddington. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by fcisca: 10:11pm On Apr 04, 2018 |
The Oxford Tube from Victoria coach station is your best bet. Departs the station every 15-20mins depending upon the time of the day obaxlove: |

Oxford Tube is cheaper. About 15-18 pounds per trip geek: |

Aquaman84: Only the ECO can evaluate if your post as a company supervisor is convining enough to issue you a visa. You would not know until you apply. So I would say, submit your application and hope for the best. |

Aquaman84: You’re welcome. May I ask does your girlfriend live alone? I was just wondering if it would not be safer if you book hotel accommodation instead of taking the free accommodation. This will show financial capability on your side to entirely fund the visit and not rely on your girlfriend or her family for support. After all, anything can happen along the way. Just my additional thought before you submit. |

Hi guys. I’m here again and I need help please. I did my masters and undergrad in the Uk and came back before my Visa expired. I intend to go back for my graduation in July. I have few questions for filling my visa form online please. I’m trying to apply for a 2 years tourism visa in order to attend my graduation 1. Is the main purpose of your trip to visit/stay with a close family relative who is settled in the Uk. Is my answer supposed to be yes or no please. |

@ekpotex yes she lives alone, my fund is going to show as 1m when I finally print out my bank statement, and I cannot use all my money for this trip so the eco officer won't say I would be penny less when I return. So I said my budget is 500k leaving a balance of 500k when I return. I will provide all the information when applying , is it ok? What she's bringing, 01) Wage slips. 02) Bank statements for the last 6 months. 03) Utility bills 04) Tenancy agreement for the property she lives in. 05) Letter of employment 06) Copy of Passport Data Page. 07) Invitation letter. 08) Printed visa page of visit to Nigeria 09) Printed copies of correspondents between the both of us via WhatsApp from the month of November till April. 10) Printed copy of flight ticket; What I'm providing, 01) Bank statements for last 6 months. 02) Letters of employment and confirmation from both companies as I'm using 3months statement from past employer and 3months from current employer. 03) Passport valid for at least 6 months. 04) Letter of granted leave from my employer. 05) Printed copies of hotel bookings 06) Pictures of our time together in Nigeria 07) A link to our video at the beach via WhatsApp (optional) Is this ok? |

Aquaman84: Your documentation is okay. Like I said only the ECO can decide. I wish you the very best and hope you get the visa. |

Is this for UK tourist visa for 6months? Didn't see this when I was applying?? @ekpotek and justwise, while on the site a question was asked, if I have any other earnings I said no becos I only get paid through my salary, but on the first of February I receive 800k from a friend you owed me money and 3rd March received 92k from a family member who also owed me money. Is this an income?? I didn't think so since it was my money been paid back to me? Or should I include this in my cover letter? . Any thoughts |

@ Justwise @ekpotek Thank you so much for all the help for the past few months. This forum was a huge blessing in my life. I just collected my passport, 6 months multiple entry visa granted. Timeline: March 1: submitted online application March 9: biometrics at VI tls March 15: email from Sheffield stating application being prepared for consideration by eco April 5: decision made on tracker, email from tls for passport collection April 6: collected passport. Visa granted Date passport stamped: march 28 I thought I made some mistakes but God is great! 5 Likes |

Aquaman84: The 800k refund is not an income. All you need to do is point it out in a cover letter to ECO and explain when you have the money out if it’s not reflected in you bank statement. Ignore the 92K as it not a lump sum. |

@ekpotek, I was asked how much do you spend on living costs? How much I spend monthly on family and dependent s? What is the cost to you personally of your trip in GBP(£)? The total amount of money you have for this trip? The cost of the aeroplane, boat or train ticket? The cost of your living expenses? My salary is 300k, how do you guys feel I should answer this question?? Like a breakdown, God bless us all! |

@Justwise and Ekpotek sirs; images attached are screenshots from the visa4uk and TLS site respectively. At the visa4uk end, I have submitted, paid the visa fees, gotten appointment for next week and printed application for mum. I have also registered, filled and confirmed at the TLS end too. I however don't know why the last two sections - "REGISTER AT COMMERCIAL PARTNER" and "PRINT APPLICATION" - haven't turned green like the rest did when I passed them.... Is that normal or I didn't do something right and should be worried?

@my two ogas at the top... ekpotek justwise and other gurus of these great house. I would be applying for a tourist visa early next month. I have been to the Nigerian immigration to renew my passport but the thing is taking much time cos I have done the capturing now going to 3weeks. @allgurus pls where I work, our salary is been paid in cash cos its an amusement park so we don't have payslips. also my salary is below 100k but, my wife always transfer at least 200-300k into my account every month since last year from her joint accout with her dad. now I am thinking since my salary is low, can I use the joint account name as where I work and the money been transfer as my salary @ekpotek pls peruse and give me a brotherly advice. thanks. |
