Funny enough, the way Rohr uses his bench is something else... Some players keep getting invited but never used. Musa is not the reason why he's not using those he invites.
sontoly:

The issue here is that there are so many players that can play that musa role right now but av not been called up or tested. If we consider playing him as a CF then we will have to look at his conversion ratio which is poor.

Abeg musa has to give way here.

Wrong,

Musa for long spells, was Nigeria's best and most dangerous player..

I do not like the disrespect been shown to him. He might not be at his peak now but his efforts should be appreciated.

Best kini....DTS to you,not to me,his final third ball/decision is extremely poor cool

The most competitive and physically challenging league in the World the best is a matter of preference to me.

But widely acclaimed by numerous authoritative bodies as the best.

Not like Bundesliga rated 4th in Europe where one team has won the league 6 times in a row. Add to that has totally dominated for the past two decades. So it is safe to say the Bundesliga is a one team league.

Yeah English premier league most competitive league in their own pocket

Nobody dominates the premier league just as English club have been a failure in Europe for the past 6 years, pray Liverpool wins the champions league because English teams are worthless to UEFA

I was checking the results, India beating us in Boxing, South Africa beating us in sprints... very disappointing

We need a focused long-term sports plan, otherwise we are in trouble.

My brother we are already in trouble. The saddest part to me is how we have distressed in track and field

what do you know about contributions to a team, you think is easy to boast 67 caps for a national team at 25 years. how many Nigeria players have 2 worldcup goals to there name, Musa started all the world 2014 qualifier games.

The question ❓ is is it justified and I would say yes.

Tell me on of our players outside of Mikel who is more experienced and technically proficient as him add to that pace.

And the calls for Aluko should be much louder actually we should be screaming for him.

Aluko was one of the poorest player in there last match between Fulham and reading...Aluko is not doing so well now but you keep calling for his call up

You know more than those coaches I guess?

Rohr Forcing Nigerian Players To Sign Contracts For World Cup Spots, DW Sports Agency Breaches Fifa Rule

Rohr Forcing Nigerian Players To Sign Contracts For World Cup Spots, DW Sports Agency Breaches Fifa Rule
Allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report that Super Eagles manager Gernot Rohr may be involved in some underhand dealings that will jeopardize the chances of the national team performing well at the 2018 World Cup.

The German is imitating Nigeria 1994 World Cup coach Clemens Westerhof, who forced Emmanuel Amuneke to sign for Duisburg and coerced Daniel Amokachi to join Club Brugge over Anderlecht who were also interested in his services.

There are rumours that Rohr has joined forces with DW Sports Management to force Super Eagles players to sign representative agreements with the French-based agency or be omitted from the roster for the World Cup.

It is confirmed that Rohr visited Ahmed Musa and Moses Simon in Russia and Belgium respectively and few months later the two wingers joined the stable of DW Sports Management.

This website can confirm one hundred percent that the Gent winger was financially induced by DW Sports Management before he penned the representation contract and will pocket a percentage of the commission if he joins a new club after leaving Belgium and this is a breach of Fifa's rules banning third parties from influencing the transfer of players.

Bursaspor defender William Troost-Ekong was also approached to join DW Sports Management but he refused their overtures despite Rohr surprisingly handing him the captain's armband against Poland last month in a pre-World Cup friendly.

DW Sports Management also handles the affairs of Henry Onyekuru, Mikel Agu, Oghenekaro Etebo, Brian Idowu and Abdullahi Shehu, bringing the total number of World Cup bound players they manage to seven and counting.

English-based agent Tony Harris influenced the naming of Reuben Gabriel, Michael Uchebo, Ahmed Musa and Uche Nwofor in Nigeria's 2014 World Cup squad and the national team lacked a quality bench in the mundial, they struggled to qualify for the last sixteen before they were eliminated.

In the light of the foregoing, Rohr and DW Sports Management's antics will affect the Super Eagles performance in Russia if they are not cautioned by the Nigerian Federation.

NIGERIA’S AHMED MUSA DUMPS LONG TIME AGENT TONY HARRIS

Nigeria’s Ahmed Musa dumps long time agent Tony Harris

by Phumzile Ngcatshe

Wednesday Apr 11, 2018. 09:00

Nigerian international duo in Ahmed Musa and Moses Simon has joined a new agency known as DW Sports Management.

After a long standing association with famous agent Tony Harris, Musa decided to end the partnership to join DW which is ran by a couple of French men.

Musa’s new representatives took to Twitter to announce the partnership and both players have liked the post.

DW Sports Management now have seven Super Eagles players under their management.

Brian Idowu, Mikel Agu, Shehu Abdullahi, Ahmed Musa and Oghenekaro Etebo are the other Super Eagles players under the management of DW Sports Management.

OwnGoalNigeria reports that the agency came close to adding William Troost-Ekong to their stabel before he decided to team up with Stellar Group.

Meanwhile, Musa’s switch to the company comes as a shock considering the length of his stay with Harris who was pivotal in his move to Dutch side VVV Venlo in 2011.

Rohr Assures Super Eagles Won’t Be Goal-Shy In Russia
8 April 11, 2018 9:00 am

Super Eagles manager Gernot Rohr is confident that his team’s attack which misfired in recent games will come good at the World Cup in Russia and score many goals, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.

“The Super Eagles will overcome whatever problems they’re having presently and do well at the world Cup. I know we are lacking in some areas presently as shown in recent matches against Poland and Serbia, but we shall sort all that out before the world cup

“The friendly matches are meant to prepare for world cup and correct any noticeable flaws and pick the best players who fit into my philosophy and tactics. I have seen two games and I have another three to play and pick my team for Russia,” Rohr said.

He continued: “We know the problems of the team and we shall try to correct them and try to play on the weakness of world cup opponents. We shall score goals in Russia and try to stop opponents from scoring. We have to work real hard to qualify from our group.”

The Franco-German further revealed that by the time the Super Eagles play the friendly game against England, Nigerians would be able to get a glimpse of what to expect at the world cup in Russia.
