.....this is a very simple free fall question...we can calculate it in 2 ways....one is 2 step way and other is simple one step way( using formula)..let's do it d simple way first.... The time it spent in air is the time of flight represented as T....T= 2u/g......2 * 50/ 10 = 100/ 10... = 10s...

..the other way..the concept is DAT the same time it takes to move to the maximum height = the same time it takes to fall...total time t = t1 + t2...since t1= t2..total time = 2t1...to calculate t1(time to reach maximum height)...v= u+ at...v= u+ gt..At maximum height..v = 0...and since the motion of ball is against the force of gravity "g" is negative.. So 0= u - gt..u = gt..t=u/g...t= 50/ 10..t=5..t1= 5s.....since t( time of flight)= 2t1...t= 2 * 5s = 10s...

Have seen my mistake tanks alot. Please i couldnt find lamlard physics here in niger state but have gotten comprehensive & essential physics but i dnt like the english is there any i can use to complement them

To convert 54km/h to m/s: (54*1000)/(60*60)=15m/s Average Velocity=distance/time Distance=15*10=150m

..correct bro..not doing too know o bt wanna point out a subtle correction...Average velocity = total distance/ total time taken.....not distance/ time...though it looks minor...has a long way to go...
