Even if he hadn,t given a penalty he would have given the juventus player a yellow card which would have been a re card then what.my brother na penalty(inside the box)

nellybadas:
From a neutral point of view. Yes there was a shove from behind. But with the intensity and pressure of such a highly competitive game. You will require a much more convincing incident to give a penalty at stoppage time. To me it's poor refreeing. Knowing fully well that emotions were high. As if it wasn't enough he red carded the goal keeper. Well that's football for you. Full of controversies.

Here is the real Fifa's plan... They were eyeing barcelona vs R.Madrid for the champions league final so that they can sell tickets massively to rake in money. Now that barcelona is out, they would want to do everything possible to make sure real Madrid gets to final coz if not, they might not sell much tickets for the final. Izza fixed match

Let me help you out!!!!
FIFA’s decision came amid the ongoing tension between Britain and Russia.
Britain had accused Russia of poisoning ex-Russian spy, Sergei Skripal and his daughter in Salisbury, England.

The British Government followed the accusation up with the expulsion of 23 Russian diplomats.Britain’s foreign secretary, Boris Johnson, later announced the country’s decision that no British dignitaries or member of the royal family will attend the competition, to be held June 14-July 15.

Madrid vs Juventus (Red to Cuadrado final)
Madrid vs PSG (Red to Verrati Second leg)

Madrid vs Juventus (Red to Buffon 2nd leg)

Micheal Oliver just showed why no English Referee will be at the World Cup in Russia 2018

No Champions League Finals since 2010/11 for Pep Guardiola, having spent £750m on transfers in that time.

Pep's transfer spend as a manager:

£340m+ in 4 seasons at Barcelona.
£185m+ in 3 seasons at Bayern Munich.
£500m+ in 2 years at Manchester City.

£1.025 Billion in 9 year

Despite the hundreds of millions of pounds spent, neither PSG nor Manchester City have managed to get further than Leeds United in the Champions League

Gianluigi Buffon in the Champions League:

 117 matches
 50 clean sheets

The greatest ever.

This is first time since 2010 that all Champions League semi-finalists will be from different countries. Variety. This will be the first time that the Champions League semi-finals will have a representative from England, Germany, Italy and Spain. Surprising.

The New FIFA rule is that when a penalty is given in added time, you do not give a red card but a yellow card.
Ronaldo is the biggest animal in football. He has scored in every UCL matches this season.

Real Madrid will forever be grateful having Ronaldo.

COW: Champion Of World

GOAT: Greatest Of All Time

BEAST: Best Ever Athlete Still Trending

DOG: Deliverer Of Goals
The red card was given for dissent

Ronaldo disgraced me even more.

After an insipid performance from him, he was served a penalty and when he scored, he chose to take off his shirt.

I have never seen a player who appreciated mediocrity that way.

I don't think Messi would take off his shirt If he scored from a controversial penalty. Well, I guess that action of his(ronaldo) showed he has something in common with Nigerians, and that's appreciating and endorsing mediocrity.
Messi took off his shirt and pointed it to Madrid fans in last year's 3-0 win at Bernabeu. Players are human and bound to err. So don't be hard or Ronaldo. As for the match, it's a penalty. As for the red of Buffon, it's debatable
Re: Omojuwa Reacts To Juventus Elimination By Real Madrid by AlvaroMorata(m): 9:03am On Apr 12, 2018
A push from the back and kick to the chest of the player. If that doesn't call for a penalty I don't know what else should. Benatia showed how unprofessional he can be with that challenge, that's why he had the lowest rating after the match.
Buffon on the other hand just carry matter for head like gala, the referee was obviously pissed off with his erratic behaviours plus the shove to have sent him off.

I don't know who the hell is Omojuwa and I don't care. It is a very clear penalty. The time it was given is immaterial neither is awarding a penalty dependent on factors. Does Buffon deserve a red card? Absolutely. You don't insult or shove the referee and get away with it. The ref was spot on on those two decisions.EOD

Benatia the cuprit also comfirmed that he slightly pushed Vazquez.

A player was pushed in the box and still got kicked at his lower abdomen falling him the moment he was about to score and you expect the Ref to ignore that penalty even after Benetia has been warned twice in the 90th minutes?

Bé sincere sincere to your self, if Real Madrid player was the cuprit what would have been your position on this? Lets stop watching football with sentiments. It is true that not everyone loves Cristiano Ronaldo and Real Madrid but does that stop you from being objective?

God bless you my brother

All they want is Madrid to be out like Barça

But seriously that penalty is a real and visible penalty, and if they continue claiming Buffons red card was unjust he will never and can never catch that penalty afterwards because the penalty is just too perfect
. If Buffon were in the post, Ronaldo's attitude may have been different. Fear for catch Rinaldo small and may have made him miss the penalty.

If that's not a PK then what should we call it? Buffon Insulted the Ref. Face to Face and he sees red and one idiot is here claiming what he didn't know. Watch the post match interview and hear all Juventus player saying its a clear PK.

This is one of the reason Nigeria league will never grow, we take everything as sentiment and it will lead us no where.
Pga football is not Table Tennis okay there most be contact.. ...juve had a penalty dues to casmiro hand ball... .it was side looked by the ref.

I think since the emergence of a new uefa President there has been an upward favor for Madrid @ the champions league and downward slide of Barcelona wen Michel plattini was there it was the reverse. The champions league has lost its competitive taste since Madrid has become what the cheat to favor year in year out.

People are just allowing sentiments to cloud their judgement. The sentiments are;

1. It was 90+ minutes of the match.

2. It was Buffon's last chance of Champions league medal trial.

3. Juventus came from 3 goals down in the first leg.

The truth is if the scenario happened in any other match and at any other period (say 1st half), nobody will object to the ref's decision.

Football has rules. These rules are binding, flaunt them and you will be penalized.

Give 100 referees the chance to make that decision, you'll get 100 penalty kicks.chikena
