Alright.

I've got one already...

ENGLISH

Fill in the gap with the correct option.

We hold that the nation,both in its public and private sectors,..........the best consultancy service in all its endeavours.
(A) deserve
(B) deserves
(C) is deserving
(D) are deserving
(E) richly deserve

I know the answer is most probably (B),but my problem is whether the subject, THE NATION can be taken as SINGULAR or PLURAL knowing that a nation encompasses many people and things.

Please I need the CORRECT answer from the English gurus here.
Sorry this may be late but in my own opinion and according to Concord a singular subject must be followed by a singular verb.So the answer should be (B)

Is possible in some university.

One of my friend in Unilorin to be precise changed to MBBS from Physiology because he was among the top three in their department with a very high CGPA. But I don't about that of UI.
You can change department in UI. It happens every year, especially if you have first class grade in 100 level

I know say e simple for una me still dey learn...

A body of mass 25kg, moving at 3ms¹ on a rough horizontal floor is brought to rest after sliding through a distance of 2.5m on the floor. Calculate the coefficient of sliding friction [g=10ms²]

The density of mercury is 1.36×10⁴kgm³ at 0°C. Calculate its value at 100°C and at 22°C. Take cubic expansivity of mercury as equal to 180×10^–6 K-¹.

A brass measuring tape is correct at 20°C. The value obtained when the length of a field is measured with the rule at 50°C appears to be 70.5m. What is the true length of the field? Linear expansivity of brass = 1.8×10^-5 K-¹.

I= moment of inertia and w= angular frequency...I= mr^2 while w= 2πf...so L= mr^2(2πf)....2π is dimensionless...L= kgm^2/s unit...so dimension of L=ML^2T^-1....hope I try small...

1. What is the chance of choosing at random a three number which is divisible by 7?

2. A box contains 40 identical discs, some red and the rest white. if a disc is drawn at random, the probability that it is red is 1/4 .
(a) How many white discs were in the box?
(b) How many more red discs must be added to make P (red disc being picked) = 1/3?

3. Solve the equation a^2 - 8a + 12 = 0. Hence find the four values of x which satisfy the equation (x^2 - x)^2 - 8(x^2 - x) + 12 = 0.

..thrust is reaction force...formula is...rate of mass flow * velocity....
m/t * v.....angular momentum can be "mvr".. Remember L= Iw...=mr^2 * w.....but w= v/r...so
L=mr^2 * v/r....=mr^2v/ r....= mrv....
