i am not struggling to defend myself , but telling you the importance of a winger to the team (juvetus) , also playing to a certain strength of a player ...

get the importance of playing to the strength of a player ... super eagles lack this .

why are you dribbling your self, you said earlier if you take off Costa mandzukic will be ordinary and won't get such service in Croatia, and that his all about the head, bros that dude is playing as a winger and can score individual goals.

To me the only time Iwobi should play from the wings is when Mikel is in the game.

Some situation may warrant us taking one of the DM off maybe Onazi and play Ndidi,Mikel and iwobi. imagine 70min Nigeria 0 -1 iceland

It was definitely not a penalty angry sad shocked

Real Madrid have received very very favourable decisions over the past few years in the Champions League. Offside goal in the final against Atletico being one of the egregious ones. This is another such decision. Vazquez is already falling after the slightest touch from Benatia. Real were looking for a penalty all match and no one received a card for the multiple dives committed. In the end, the ref bought it and have a soft penalty.

And last year's semi-finals match against Bayern Munich, at Santiego Bernabeu, would go down in history as the most outrageous referring decisions of all time. Once Real Madrid started losing the match even with a man up, the ref quickly awarded them TWO clear offside goals!

And it's funny because as soon as Juve equalized the game last night, I told a friend that Real Madrid would get a last minute penalty. And it happened exactly like I had predicted! UEFA is even more corrupt than FIFA. And I will not keep quiet until someone brings them to book. Watch this space!!

Musa Ahmed has done few but quite important things for our football. I could vividly remember the under 20 nations cup in south Africa. Musa was menacing and when his club decided to recall him all hell went loose. This guy scored that crucial goal in Kenya that set us on the road to 2014 world cup. Against the argies at the world cup two well taken goals. Against arsenal fantastic. Musa no all our players need us to stand by them. They qualified from the most difficult group dropping just four points.

LOL. What about your boy CR7 getting trounced 3-0 in his own backyard? And usual have to rely on that atrocious last second penalty to qualify? Tell you what, Barca would be winning the UCL every year if they could get half the calls Real Madrid gets. For instance, Roman would've received more than two red cards on Tuesday if the nasty kicks their players directed at Messi were given to Ronald. That's a fact!

And yesterday's call was as bizarre as it gets. Never a penalty, the Madrid player (Lucas) clearly dived as he wasn't in control of the ball approached him. Placing your hands on someone's back doesn't justify diving. It's a contact sports. Free kick Juventus.

Those saying it was 100% penalty obviously know absolutely nothing about football. Real Madrid players were going down like flies all game. Was only a matter of time before he gave them a penalty. Ronaldo tried at least twice by falling over in the box when a Juve player got anywhere near him. The powers that be have destroyed the beautiful for all of us sad

Sir i have repeat it here that i don't rate Ighalo cos i always see him as average player but the question do we have anyone better than him?if we have no issue.

On Ighalo load of goals, pls judge may be this is fair enough

Lyn of Oslo.......9 goals

Granada...........33 goals

Watford............33 goals

Yatau................16 goals

I think 91 career goals and still counting as a professional is fair enough though not the best

To me, it was never a penalty. Benatia definitely got the ball before he got Lucas. A pure dive. In the first leg, Dybala was given a yellow card for diving even though there was contact. This time Real got a penalty on a platter. But even if you think that it was a penalty, you gotta agree that it was a soft one at best. And how could anybody give such a very soft penalty at the LAST SECOND of the game? Just send them to extra time and let the better team win.

And you gotta ask yourself, why is that every call always seems to favor Real? Semi Finals last year against Bayern Munich ... once Real started losing the game, two atrocious calls went their way. Same thing happened for them in the finals against Athletic Madrid! I have already initiated calls for Interpol and FBI to investigate UEFA. They are more corrupt than FIFA.

I know where all these shady calls is leading, they want to give another Balon d'Or to Cristiano Ronaldo so he can get one more than Messi. But God dey, hopefully, Real Madrid isn't gonna win anything this year. Let's see how they could possibly justify giving him the Balon d'Or ... When Mo Salah (or Lewandowski) wins the UCL, Messi wins La Liga, and Neymar wins the World Cup.

you mean the way you guys use to win it when you were equally getting atrocious calls?

For a Uefalona fan to make such a statement is laughable. No team has benefitted more from shady calls than Barcelona in the UCL. So, get off your high horse.

At least Madrid had the sense to do their bit in the first leg, your team had Roma score two goals for them at home and still couldn't finish work, maybe y'all needed another own goal from a Roma player to make it out since the great Messi couldn't find a goal in his boot tongue

LOL. Whatever! Right now, nobody wants to play Real Madrid because they knew that it would take an act of God for you to beat Real in the Champions league. When PSG started outplaying in the round of 16 1st leg, the ref quickly rectified the situation by sending off a PSG player. The same script played out in the second leg as well. And in the first leg against Juve, once Juve started threatening to get a goal, Dybala was quickly shown a second yellow card!

Safari, trust me, I know what's going on here. The powers (and that's including the media) that want desperately wants Cristiano Ronaldo to be the face of the game. Hence, they are doing everything to make sure that he would stand atop the Balon d'Or table. Do you notice how they tend to overhype everything he does? Even scoring a penalty against a reserve goalkeeper is suddenly being equated to performing a miracle. And scoring an overhead goal inside the 6 yard box with absolutely no challenge at all was seen as the greatest goal ever scored in football.

Haha!!! You can't make these things up, yo shocked

This is not unusual. Ibrahimovic was once upon a time invited for trials at Arsenal.
Every player must have at a period in their careers invited for trial irrespective of how talented they are presumed to be.
Even the so called academy players audition before being signed.

Do you know Dele Alli came to Liverpool aged18 and was rejected as not being good enough.

Football trials in my personal experience particularly at U23 level are bedevilled with corruption and influence peddling by agents and others stakeholders.

There are are also those who have left the Nigerian scene and became world beaters. Kanu, Okocha, Finidi, Yekini to name a few.

The truth is that for NPFL clubs to get the attention of the world, the national team must do well in major international competitions. The exploits of the famous 1994 and 1996 teams put local based players on the spotlight.

Should this Gernot Rohr team get to the finals of the world cup (hypothetically speakingod course). We will witness a boom in the local football industry. This is a fact

What you are saying is true but that was two decades ago.

In more recent times we are unable to match the quality of our pre millennium Super Eagles. At that time the larger majority if our players were the toast of Europe. Playing in the creme de La creme of too European clubs.

However, that is no more the case tye larger majority of our players are now playing in the backwaters of Europe.

I guess some people here are sadiq umar relatives

Only someone with dull brain and know nothing about football will call for sadiq to lead the line.

Bro, yes I am very angry. I expected Real to get knocked out yesterday so I could troll their fans the same way they trolled us on Tuesday, but I wasn't holding my breath tho because I know that it was Real Madrid. I honestly did predict a phantom penalty and/or a red card against Juve.

The whole thing is becoming a pattern and I think it's about time all soccer fans speak up. It's one thing if it happens once or twice, but not 4 times in the past 2 years. That's totally unacceptable.
