Hello Gurus,
I need a advise regarding my desire to do an MBA in Canada. I don't want to dive in blind, please I need your valued input.
I'm currently in Canada for a three week holiday. I've decided to apply for an MBA in a Canadian school, that starts next year.
I'm married with three kids 5, 6, 8 years old.
I'll want my kids with me whilst doing my MBA.
Hubby has a good job, he's staying back in Nigeria.
I run a successful company thats 7 years old.
I intend to shut it down while I'm at school.

My questions are:
1. Is it adviceable to apply for my kids as I'm applying for my study permit or wait till I get it then send theirs in?

2. Will it be easier to get the visa as a business owner or as a staff (manager) of a company?

3. What evidence will I need in both cases above to prove that I have ties in Nigeria?

Any additional advice is welcomed.

Hubby and children shall be your ties and you can send for them later through application for a SOWP, which is easier to obtain than if they were to apply for a visiting visa to join you. Business back in Nigeria can also be ties, you don’t need to shut it down. Get a dependable hand to man business while you are away and in the many months of application for SOWP that your family would undergo before joining you. You will need evidence of your business incorporation, business and personal bank accounts, tax clearances, property ownership documents would greatly help if you have, marriage certificate, birth certificates of your children, letter of admission to an MBA program and a winning SOP that outlines why you want to study at this age, why study in CAnada and not NIgeria, the ties that bind you, how an MBA would add to your job when you are already doing well without it. Your future plans with an MBA upon return to Nigeria needs to be explicated. Good luck!

Your friend is good to go. He needs to carry only the introductory letter and proof of financial support at port of entry. He can change his school even before arrival or after arrival. Doesn't make a difference, whichever is good. The process is quite easy and only involves opening an account and enacting the change of school and program. Ask you fiend to follow these instructions:

if asked any question at port of entry for the reason of his change, he can say he changed his mind because he likes program better at Ottawa or Ottawa admission letter arrived late and that is why he initially applied for visa with Humber College admissions. Whichever is applicable to him.

If your previous study was done in english, just provide them with a letter of attestation from your school registrar saying the language of instruction during your studies was english.

May I know if I can use my transcript as a proof ?? Since it’s clearlt stated that language of instruction is English at the end of the transcript.

Will new employment make a difference? Do you make significantly more? If not, just allow a sleeping dog lie. If more, then you need to notify Accra via email with new employment letter and stated new renumerations.

Abeg, dis application is giving me headache. Pls kindly mention the form to be filled. So far, i have filled application check list, application for study outside canada, family information. The confusion now is, i know the form to be submitted are 4 in numbers. Which one is the 4th one. Coz me i dont understand again

Does your birth certificate carry her maiden name, does she have death certificate of your dad
She can get affidavit if the first question is no.
Add a copy of marriage with the 2nd all these to prove she is your mum.

Thank you for your response. The new job is significantly more and don't want to drop the offer since CIC has not gotten back and this is 1 Month into my application (online route), question is should I decide to take the offer and I send updates dox to CIC, will it jeopardize my chance.

You must put the tracking number, not the reference number. Many people confuse this. It is 20 digit consisting of alphabets and numbers, 20180309CAABSTU19934 for example. You must input your birthday correctly too.

Please take a look at your Previous study and work experience. Is any of the two in line with your proposed study?

You fill online and make sure you generate barcode for imm1294e, make sure u check very well o so that the numbers on the bottoms left will be the same from page 1 to 6 of that form, you will fill the family information form online too, you use your hand for the questionaire and documents checklist. Make sure you let them know you have been refused a visa to U.K., let your sponsor shows commitment by transferring a year tuition fees+ 10,000Cad living expenses into your account....I hope this helps

I applied for a study permit, that form you are speaking off is for visit, transit , super visa
