chibertha:chibertha, You pm me right? Check your email I have answered this question. For the sake of others, i'll answer it again on the forum. A company can decide to sponsor an applicant studies to Canada with convincing reasons to why the company is spending so much on the employee and what he/she has done to deserve such treatment/benefit from the said company and the number of years the employee has been working for the company matters a lot. A third party sponsorship must show proof of commitment towards financing an applicant studies in Canada, i.e either paying full tuition or transferring funds into applicant dorm/naira account. Since is the company that will be the sponsor to the applicant, they should present a board resolutions letter stating that they are fully aware of this sponsorship and funds will be made available to the applicant during his/her stay in Canada. So in this case you don't need a letter from the employer stating he/she is the sole signatory to the account. Since it's a company sponsorship. You need a sole signatory letter from the bank, only if the employer is the sponsor to the applicant. All the best! 1 Like |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by Asapant: 5:19pm On Apr 12, 2018 |
Depends on the program choice.. Course based or Thesis and research ?? If you have a very high GPA in your last 2 years of study. You may be accepted. An outstanding Letter of intent may also do the magic. I'll advice you look at MUN, Uottawa, new.Brun, Usask. Also check Dalhousie university, Acadia & UPEI. Best of luck.. Gifty28: |

First of all and most importantly, order ND get ur GCMS note to know the actual reasons. Forget travel history,dt is jes Jara. In ur next application , try as much as possible to work on ur purpose of visit i.e try and convince the VO that u are a genuine student and would come back to Nigeria after ur studies. Once u tackle that, travel history would also go. But also try to explain why uve not been able to travel out of ur country. Buh Travel history isn't a tangible reason for refulsal. Ur refusal reasons are easy to tackle. Best of luck swisster: |

Lol. Please fill the form online before printing it out cos a barcode will be generated after filling it online . Also ink isn't allowed on that form, so be careful. Also state that u have been denied UK Visa on dt form. Do not hide anything. Best of luck kingfintan: |

Gifty28:Gifty28 No they don't. Canadian institutions require a minimum of 2.1 for a masters degree. Well, few institutions consider your last 2 years grade in the University, so you should be looking out for such institution. |

kingfintan: kingfintan, Not just paying tuition fees, as it is not a prerequisite to Visa approval. Also provide documents to evident his source of income. Gainfully employed- provide his employment letters, payslips, promotion letters, increment letters, appointment letters etc.. Get documents to show proof of relationship with your brother... Like, Birth certificates and international passport bio data page. All the best! |

seglius:seglius, You're continually doing the wrong thing. Change your intended program so it could be relevant to your previous studies/job role. So, your best bet here for your next application to scale through is to go for a Msc/Pgd on the discipline of chemical engineering. Lastly, order for your GCMS note and don't reapply blindly without showing concerns to your previous refused application. Use this link.... https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/welcome.do?lang=en All the best! |

swisster: I went through your previous posts and discovered you got admission for an undergraduate diploma program (correct me if I am wrong). You already have a university degree. This might not have shown any progression to the VO. Did you explain why you needed this program instead of a post graduate program? |

I got this from quantity surveyor that want to do evaluation of my father's house to be transferred to me, daddy is dead without a will, but mummy is alive. From surveyor I want to advice you dont waste your time on this. The value is so little, By the time you check the depreciation value, You discover that nothing will be left. My question, Is it a must a lawyer must draft deed of gift for me before taking letter of administration? Should I go ahead to do letter of administration? Does letter of administration overrule deed of gift drafting? I have a virgin plot of land, can it be evaluated in lieu of Survey plan for Canadian visa home tie Because at high court they only request, 2 passport of next of kin, 3k for court payment, 10k for news paper publications for processing letter of administration |

olami101:You programme is less than 6 months, so you do not need a study permit but VISITING VISA. Visit cic site to know the requirement. And as for the remaining 30% of your fee, its not compulsory you pay it(especially if the school isn't asking for it before you apply for the visiting visa) but make sure you have it and other funds(for your upkeep, flights....) in your bank account. |

OFFICIALAEL: It is not unusual. CIC can be slow sometimes, I will go to VFS site if I were you and use the live chat to remind them to forward. But I am sure they did, the beauracratic inertia is most likely on CIC’s end. |

olugere: You mean a Deed of Transfer? You need a lawyer to do that for you. It is not hard. It is easy. It is cheap. I personally drafted mine by myself and got a lawyer practicing in Nigeria I am related to, sign it for me and register it in court. Cost me only 4K or so. The administration letter including a Deed of Transfer will give your land document sufficient heft before a VO. But a C of O is the best! The Evaluation usually carries a survey plan with it. Never done it. But always seen other people’s land evaluation documents carry along with it, a survey by the same quantity surveyor. 1 Like |

Gifty28: Yes some do. But you have to have at least 4 years work experience in the field. Some even accept those without a degree into their masters program if you can show massive work experience, like 9 years. Anything is possible. Traditionally though, 2.1 is the minimum if you have little or no work experience. |
