This line is becoming stale.

Try come up with an argument that has a semblance of intelligence in it. At least the other lady is giving it a shot, albeit unsuccessfully.

@Embodened

You have messed up another analogy

A guy that cook very well wouldn't have cooking as his top priority when searching for a life partner, same way as an independent lady shouldn't be bothered about the money and financial prowess of her future boyfriend.

Notwithstanding, not making a future partner's financial prowess a main concern in relationship doesn't mean a lady will rather settle for a broke and unambitious man. it simply means that his money and how he spends it is not her top priority in the relationship.

Clearly, that seems to be your major priority, but it is cool.

We don't need to have similar principles about life. smiley

Yes a man who can cook will still prioritize a woman who can cook as a partner. It goes deeper than just preparing a meal but feeding and nurturing his children. It’s a motherly characteristic that shows she’ll be able take care of his family and probably extended. A woman with money will also want a man with money, it will definitely be a priority for her. Whether you accept it or not is your own.

True true bro, no need argue with her. Definitely she will meet her match but that wouldn't me.

There are good independent ladies everywhere all they need is your love na wen you meet all these ajekpako looking for a guy that will upgrade their life. My guy is in Canada as I speak everything was done by the girl but now they are married and he's doing well.

Brothers leave all these slay queen get your self a real independent queen with brains.

That's just the gospel truth. Sometimes I ask myself how come the ladies in Nairaland are so different from those in my office. They seem to be from different planets shocked shocked shocked

Have a great weekend bro cool

Birds of a feather flock together. The fact that you and your friends have that mentality doesn't make it the norm or reality. Even on this thread a lady vehemently disagreed with you. I also know ladies who will feel insulted by your posts.

Your opinion is not reality.
Lool. Alrighty grin I’m not forcing my ‘opinion’ down anyone’s throat. Just stating it, as well as you’re stating yours. We can agree to disagree. smiley

Yes she is doing you a favour. You chased her not the other way round, you went out of your way to patronise her and she accepted you out of many so she’s doing YOU a favour.
She’s taking herself off the dating market in her prime.
She’s giving you her body (most times)
She’s trusting you with her time and biological clock
She’s risking her emotional state being with you.

The least you can do is reciprocate the favour by being financially supportive. The problem with you guys is, you just want to take take take and not give anything in return. It’s bad.

to slap this safiaa girl dey hungry me...... see mentality........ doing me a favour my foot....
relationship is supposed to be on mutual grounds.. no one is doing anybody a favour here............

We are still on romantic relationships and dating not marriages

Not every woman is motherly in nature and not every relationship will end in marriage

Marriage should be a totally different subject for another thread.

I believe most of these things are internet standards designed to bolster their self esteem and prestige online. If any mumu said off-point to my face I will just walk you out of my presence if we were on a date.

A.k.A a woman who can accept me for who I am, but I will not accept her if she doesn’t have the criterias I want in a wife. My brother, I understand completely. Have a fantastic day.

Exactly, get your self a provider and I get my self a supporter/independent lady. We all got our spec, but trying to make the other party see your opinion as the best option is wrong.

Happy weekend.

All the girls I know thinks its okay that a guy spends on them but thinks its stupid when their brother or uncles spend on other women/gf and at times wives..

Na girls wey dey ginger here go talk say their brother has been charmed by his gf, because he chose to spend on her, they will curse the heaven, gossip and keep malice with his partner

I tell sis most broken homes today are been caused by poverty..... most women who can't endure with the situation ends up selling their body just to feed their children why can't you just end this for once by getting married to wealthy guy wink..... if tables were turned around most women wouldn't have agreed to be married from their previous experience.....

I was initially talking about marriage, and looking for a long term partner. I was saying how a woman with money will still prioritise a man with money. Then you said no, then I used the cooking analogy, you countered it, and I argued back, then you said we’re not talking about marriage but dating. But we’ve been talking about marriage/ life partners since the beginning of this argument, so I don’t understand why you said that.
