Conte is not without blame this season though.

He often takes too long to react to games via tactics or the subs bench.

Yes...! We got plenty signings wrong ...however it is not the major reason why we suffered in the hands of smaller opposition's this season. It is strictly Contes fault bcuz of is insistence to always use the 352 formation and lack of tactical flexibility to capitalize on other teams weaknesses really did us in this season.

I cannot in good faith blame our season on bad transfers alone cuz it was glaring as daylight, that once Conte became upset....he quickly pushed the bad blood into the squad in the hope that he will get the sack and get paid.......

I blame conte fully for the outcome of this season....no excuse for our poor we became.....not just bcuz of the points or the games we lost but majorly due to how badly we played in most games this season....I blame Conte!

i would also argue that 3 atb is just too defensive and the reason it worked well offensively last season was Diego Costa.

He was single-handedly bulldozing defenders and creating space for Hazard and Pedro.

With a fido dido striker, this formation just can't work. Instead, Conte should have adapted by providing extra support for our sunken Spaniard...either by playing a supporting striker behind him in a 442, or with an extra body in midfield a la 4231 or 433.

Conte tried to provide the support Morata needed with that 352 experiment, but we lost offensive power on the wing because our wingbacks are too foolish to patrol the wings on their own.
