A new underwater surveillance network is expected to help China’s submarines get a stronger lock on targets while protecting the nation’s interests along the maritime Silk Road, from the Korean peninsula to the east coast of Africa. The system, which has already been launched, works by gathering information about the underwater environment, particularly water temperature and salinity, which the navy can then use to more accurately track target vessels as well as improve navigation and positioning.

The project, led by the South China Sea Institute of Oceanology under the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), is part of an unprecedented military expansion fuelled by Beijing’s desire to challenge the United States in the world’s oceans.

its kind of clear from how the strikes happened and were conducted , it was a rouse a continuation of the status quo/state of affairs of the nonsense which has been going on for years now.

Exactamundo! A year or so ago we had a similar situation wherein both Trump and Putin were appeasing their own domestic audiences. Casualties were very low and IIRC not a Russkie was even slightly scorched or scratched while the Syrians only lost a couple of obsolete airframes.

Strictly seedlings. Almost 2 months ago a sudden golf ball sized hail stone shower tore all the tea leaves in the area. It was rare to have such large hail but with the on going heavy rains they've recovered and are sprouting even more leaves. This month I may approach or surpass my Dec weight,normally the best.

Normally damage can be reduced if u have big trees planted in rows , they provide shade as well as reduce damage from heavy rainfall or hailstorm, Neem tree is best acts as insect / disease repellent as well provide shade / protection
