I am not relying on wiki.

Yobo started as a midfielder at standard Liege, then had a torrid time at Tenerife, then back to Standard Liege as a midfielder ( versatile) but certainly not exclusively as a DM. Things changed he went to Marseille were he played as RW.

Gets into the SE and claims the RB slot, goes to the World cup and he was one of the few highlights of our entire tournament.

Everton came in for him a played a handful of games as RB and Moyes moved him straight into CB, at this stage he was winning MOTM awards. And the rest as they say is History after chopping low tax money in Fenerbache.

I never knew people could forget so easily how good Yobo was in his early days with the Super Eagles. His emergence made us forget Taribo. Awaziem will do well to have the type of career Yobo enjoyed for both club and country.
The jury is still out.

Yobo was very good but he only became that defensive master around 2003/2004, when he marked out Mboma in the 2004 nations cup. That is 23/24 years. He started out as a Rb and DM for the super eagles.

With 2 more years of experience, Awaziem could possibly be at that level for Nigeria too.

Peter Olayinka with an assist today. This is his 14th assists so far and he has scored 8 goals. Please, remember that he's currently playing on the wing.

If na Samuel Kalu assist, T, C, J etc go don annouce am and we call this thread Super Eagles thread.

I said it earlier in the season and I will still repeat it. Peter Olayinka is the best Nigerian player in Belgium. He's a proper player, the total package. An all round round attacking weapon. He's better than a lot of the pretenders in the current Super Eagles team.

Awaziem plays on the right side of Nantes defence. A pseudo right back if I can call it. Yobo stood out as a polished right back until he made the seamless transition to a full time CB. He was Nigeria's best player the 2002 nations cup in Mali/ world cup as far as I'm concerned. Kanu and Okocha didn't come to the party.

Yobo defined an era. Can we say the same of Awaziem? The answer is obvious

Awaziem has had 3 caps.. Too early to make an assessment either way. Who knows, WC 2018, could be his breaking out party.

Awaziem has played some very good games on the left, right and center for Nantes so he is progressing very well in my opinion.

Dawson has never been that good.. Let us not forget that Awaziem has been a starter at Porto.

Awaziem stand-out performance was against Florian Thauvin who has been outstanding this season (20 goals). Awaziem kept him quiet with a man of the match performance playing in an unfamiliar left back position. He also did very well against Neymar.

These are quality players that can match some of the best premier league players.

He can definitely play for some of the premier league teams.

Let us not forget, He is already been targeted by a premier league side for next season (Wolves)..

Awaziem is improving but was not a starter in Porto

He was a starter for a short time between Feb and May 2016.. All his caps came in that period. Then there was change of coach and the new coach moved him back to Porto B.

Peter Olayinka stats was better than Onyekuru's stats before Peter was injured.

He already scored 5 goals with 7 assists while Onyekuru had only 6 goals with zero assist.

They both played mostly as a LW. GBAM

This is Peter Olayinka's stats before he was injured for one month.

Why are u not berating Simon Moses in your quest to promote Olayinka? Is Onyekuru and Kalu the only Nigerian strikers in Belgium? Do u actually think everybody here is stupid?

If you can not drive your interest without making your tribal sentiments obvious to everybody, then you maybe educated but definitely not intelligent.
Is the NFF chairman an igbo man? Is his vice (Akunwumi) an igbo man? Is our coach or his vice an igbo man? What is the insecurity all about?
What if the coach or the NFF chairman happens to be igbo?
That we ignore some of these comments for peace to reign should not give some people the sole ticket to tribal e-warrior here. Everybody here belongs to a tribe but SE is not a team of tribe representatives. Let everybody respect himself here

He said let the sleeping dog lies because you are sentimental which is capable of inducing a volcanic eruption.
So, I can be insulted at a given slight opportunity because the person in question has been here for long. You have forgotten that respect is reciprocal. It's not everybody that can tolerate being insulted especially when it is uncalled for.
Mr. Man nobody is a king or queen here, this is an online platform for anyone who cares, to air his or her view(s) ,therefore, nobody has the right to intimidate anyone because we are all humans and I don't think there is any super human any where excluding the extra terrestial world.
I was expecting you to advise the person that started it to change her ways because no bad habit that can't be worked upon except the person in question is unwilling.

"The person in question" we have advised here countless times and of which we know there have been changes. But you know we humans for who we are....

I apologize on her behalf for triggering the insults but please permit me to be sentimental with her. Because she the Queen of this thread. Haha haha. Yes she is.
To me it just doesn't feel right for a man to fight dirty with a woman.

I am really sorry to bring up back the matter. But as I said before I never had the opportunity to comment on it when it was hot. And I felt like bearing my mind on it.

SMH!

We ain't really paying Attentions to Details anymore on this Thread, rather at some particular Monikers.

When Simon was been chided, poorly compared with a fellow Nigerian in the same Club, nothing was done to stop the unnecessary Comparison.

When a particular Moniker goes on radical Campaign for the Inclusion of Cyriel Dessers in the Team, he's not tagged an Agent, rather showered with Encomium.

We are too quick to judge a certain Moniker, but do fail to pay Attention to what trigger his Responses. We are too quick to condemn him, call him all sorts of derogatory Names, but rarely appreciate his Contributions on this Thread.

Why always him?! Why must he be him being labeled Everytime as a Tribalist? Is he only supporting, scouting or praising Players exclusively from a particular Region of the Country?!

He's got a thicker Skin I must confess, coz he should have avoided this Thread forever or never comment here again.

Let's be fair to call out others who are doing the same thing we unfairly adjudged the Moniker of doing. Let's pay Attention to Details before jumping to Conclusions.

Thanks.

Did you ask ChrisKels this same question? Why are you berating Simon Moses in your quest to promote Samuel Kalu?

I think that is the question the one who is not stew..pid will ask. Don't you think so?

Besides, d one who is intelligent and devoid of sentiment should have deduced that Simon Moses, Peter Olayinka, Kalu Samuel and Onyekuru are the only Nigerian players playing from the wings in the Belgium pro league.

Are what I wrote not the facts on ground?

Should I ignore facts on ground to appease mortals?

Why are you so emotional about it?

A winger according to you with 23 matches and 8 goals in the belgium league, that stats is good to be sincere and you are quick to praise him, mind you peter olayinka is good but why cant you give credid to onyekuru with lesser games and more goals?

But you will never open your mouth and praise onyekuru, anyway you failed olayinka played at the back of the striker and not a winger okay, proof below

Credit not credid

Good evening house.

Sorry I haven't been so frequent here as before. It is due to my tight schedules.

I saw a few comments pages ago and noticed there has been a "fight" recently.

It is true that this is an open thread but that doesn't make it a place where people should come to insult other people's parents. No Matter what the other party posted, that does not in any way warrant insulting one's parents.

Safarigirl is one of the strong pillars of this thread. We know her very well and what she is capable of. But that is her. You cannot change that. But bringing in her parents for insults is cowardice to me. You cannot iron out issues with her but instead you prefer to insult her parents? That is totally unacceptable. And we condemn it out rightly.

Andrew444 you deserve that ban plus 77 strokes of the cane.

And safari girl deserve a kiss and a hug

He seems to be injury prone.
