soonest: Same thing happened to my car whenever it rains. Solution: Take it to your mechanic to pour water on the car to identify the leaking point. Then the entire glass associated with the leak will have to be reinstalled. |

The steering is very hard. i ask why it was hard the seller told the it was leakage from the power steering container that no power steering oil in the container but i am scared it is not the power steering pump that is faulty. pls help asap |

suco01: Twin sister of babyboy V6 relating to gears. Glass gearbox, you must be very good in car maintainance to own that vehicle. Steerings leak from rack, pressure hose or pump and if the steering is hard, the pump is not working. |

The gurus in the house. Pls I have plenty problems with my EOD. 1. It revs to almost 3000 rpm b4 gear shift. There is enough transmission oil in d gear boxear. 2. The car loose power when climbing hill. I have serviced the throttle body, injector mouth, cleaned the airflow meter but no improvement. 3. AC is not working, even the blower does not turn on. Blower was pulled out and tested OK. Please I need ur advice 1 Like 1 Share |

Re: Maintenance Tips For Honda Cars by thebigkendo(m): 7:59am On Apr 23, 2018 |
laithanman: This is normal, depending on your driving pattern 2. The car loose power when climbing hill. I have serviced the throttle body, injector mouth, cleaned the airflow meter but no improvement. Did you clean the air filter?, also check you exhaust for blockage 3. AC is not working, even the blower does not turn on. Blower was pulled out and tested OK. Let your rewire test the blower motor relay, it is located in the fusebox in the engine area. Lastly if your Check engine light is on, Run a scan |

Hi Boss! 1. It revs to almost 3000 rpm b4 gear shift. There is enough transmission oil in d gear boxear. Let's be clear about this. I expect your car to idle at about 2000rpm with a cold engine. Afer idling for say 3-5 minutes, the rpm comes to rest somewhere between 800-1000. With an already warm engine, when you start your car, it should idle between 800-1000. At no point should your car idle at 3,000 rpm except you just cleaned out your throttle body and haven't done a throttle relearn OR you have a dirty idle air control valve. Check these out Sir. 2. The car loose power when climbing hill. I have serviced the throttle body, injector mouth, cleaned the airflow meter but no improvement. With all these you have already ruled out (assuming done properly), the other possibilities is an outrightly worn engine or transmission wear. Compression test to confirm power loss, triple drain and refill transmission fluid with fresh ATF-DW1 for starters.
This is most likely a blown fuse issue. Check the fuse box under the hood for the blower motor fuse. replace if blown. Regards!! 1 Like |

nas00: Thanks boss The power loss thing started after I steam washed then engine. It started with engine misfiring which my mechanic advised I change the spark plugs and did some setting on it. It then stabilizes but looses power climbing hill. It difficult climbing hill that it doesn't kickdown to speed up but stays in that particular gear and drags up d hill |

Re: Maintenance Tips For Honda Cars by lilkech(m): 8:14am On Apr 24, 2018 |
I went to buy fuel yesterday and For the first time paid 10k for a full tank from empty just to see if the car’s fuel tank could handle it After putting in 9k worth of fuel the tank began leaking profusely from beneath the car, as if there was a mighty hole down there somewhere and the excess fuel was draining out to the floor. Is that how it’s supposed to be or do I have to go see a panel beater to check my tank for leakages? In some other cars I notice that when you overfill it pours out from the fuel inlet opening itself down the side of the body and not from somewhere else. Car is a 2004 accord |
