I can see how that is possible, especially if it’s an approval for the principal applicant, CIC might be still be rounding up work to update the minor’s application tagging along.

Thanks for the reply. I'm grateful smiley

Canadahelper:

The answer my friend is a big bold yes . A COOP program gives you tremendous advantages.
1. Exposure to the canadian work culture with “training wheels” .
2. Valuable experience for your resume
3. Familiarity with Canadian style interviews

Regarding permanent residency:
Length of program has no direct impact but most people use the canadian experience class stream which allows people to apply for PR after working for 1 year minimum . This work experience must be in canada and the Post Graduate work permit provides the easiest way to get this experience .
Post Grad work permit is issued based on length of program ; 1yr program = 1yr work permit , 2yrs+ program = 3years work permit .

Now length of program could be beneficial for citizenship , every day spent in canada as a non permanent resident e.g student / worker counts as a half day BUT you need 3 years in total in canada to qualify for citizenship and 2 of those 3 years must be as a Permanent Resident

Hope this answers your question bud

Mehn may God bless you plenty X 100,000,000,000 of the letters you have written in this reply

Beautifully answered

Many thanks

Will like to inquiry from you.
Do they request for English test as one of the criteria for admission for algonquin. And what is their part payment deposit.

Thanks
Asapant:
kingfintan.

I made a research concerning your course.

Fanshawe
Algonquin
Conestoga
Mohawk
Loyalist &
Confederation. These colleges offer PGD in manufacturing engineering. And I think it's almost synonymous to production engineering.

Happy Sunday all..

Good morning Olugere, I saw a post of you about Algonquin college admission, so I decided to make inquiry on how you go about getting admission at the college.
I am a graduate of Mass Communication, HND, with upper credit grade point (3.93), and I want to ask maybe they use IELTS as one of the criteria for your admission. I wish to apply but seeing test of English as a test is restraining me.

olugere:
I read this below if is you, I think is okay, just let your dad do Court affidavit that he supporting you with below.... send me yours email or send blank message to olugere@gmail.com for free affidavit sample, just take it to IKEJA or nearby court to sign

They will specifically ask you to go for medical.

They are simply saying to convince them why you think you would come back to Nigeria. How would a Deed of Transfer or any criteria you submitted be able to induce your return to your homeland after your studies? Did you explain all of these? A good SOP explaining all of these should do it!!

Frankrobbn1:

jnyuwa02,

Very true, CIC reviews financial establishment/Bank statements first before proceeding to other areas of the applicant application.
Emmmm, On the contrary, It is the other way round. IRCC establishes your purpose of visit FIRST before your financial capacity(ies) and other areas of an application. The purpose of visit(Program,Length and other expenses) would determine the degree of veracity of your financial claims so as to ascertain if it can sustain your purpose of visit.

Purpose of visit can be faulted from a ridiculous thing as a show of desperation which may not be in a proposed program but rather from the overall circumstance(previous and current) of the applicant because it is predicated on the fact that the applicant is expected to establish that he/she "would leave Canada at the end of the authorized stay".
Financial bearing or considerations of officers follows the purpose in which the applicant established in his/her application as reason for travelling to Canada for study.

You can't know if or when your application would be approved. Not even anybody here. Since you have applied already, you are now at the mercy of the visa officer handling your application. If he/she need to give you further instructions or information about your application, rest assured that you will be reached.

Until then, your best bet is to keep positivism at your beck and call and stay that way till the Visa officer reach you. They are also aware of your resumption date. If it exceeds, they will inform you on the next step if need be.
