@the bolded; every update has a changelog. Always check it before updating if you're expecting a particular fix. you can try and flash the rom manually.

Thanks, I manually updated the rom using the tutorial given here b4. notice, I can drag it down in landscape mode and when I'm on homescreen but I can't when using portrait mode on an app!

Go here http://en.miui.com/unlock/

You would be required to log in with your mi I'd and password.

State the reason for wanting to unlock, just tell them you don't understand a word in Chinese and you would like to flash global rom blah blah.

I wasn't sent the permission via SMS,I just went to the mi unlock site the next day and i saw I was able to download the mi unlock tool which was a confirmation that I had been granted permission.

Why not do this first then we take it from here?

BTW I used the Samsung internet browser.

Have you rebooted? Change your theme back to default, then reboot.

Okay, I should have done this a long time ago.

I highly recommend this guy, his prices are probably the cheapest here and his customer relations is second to non.

Turn off vibration from the keyboard app you're using

Go to your keyboard then. Setting-languages and input- choose your keyboard- navigate to the keyboard settings/preference- toggle off the vibrate on keypress.

Good morning please why is my phone always turn off and turn on on its own......if it turn on, the page am browsing will have wipe off ,I will have to reload the page.... especially on opera mini.is there any solution?

After go to settings-additional settings-developer options-Mi unlock status -bind your account.
