Gr8fulHeart: Happy Birthday to your dear son and may he continually give you joy. Congrats to you too. About your son's weight, I think you need to deal with your fears as he's old enough to take mashed foods while at the creche except if you're not sure if his handlers at the creche are capable. why not try out pureed fruits, mashed potato, fried eggs etc for a day or two and ask for a report when you pick him up. I've never used AS/BG foods so can't say anything on that. pediasure is recommended for children who are 2yrs and above. give our boy food o and leave fear fear alone... cheers |

Hello mummiess, It has been a really long while in here. Trust our little/not so little ones are doing great. Congrats to the new mums in here, i’m sure you all are holding up well . God will make it easy for us all. I have a little something to ask, is it possible for teething to stop midway in babies? What i mean is my baby cut his first tooth sometime in January, and shortly after that i thought i noticed changes in the upper tooth(like it was about to come out also). Since then, the upper tooth has not shown. He’s been getting slight symptoms of teething like a mild rise in temperature, but even when i check, the temperature is always normal so i just give pcm most times. It could be that i was just over thinking the teeth thing and i thought it was coming out, or it could also be that it actually did look like it was going to, but stopped. Is the latter possible please? Pls oo mamas dont look at my character and ignore, i know i have not come here in a while. Thank you |

lol @ your character...I don't know why this was so funny to me Babies teeth are funny things, you can see the shadow for 3 to 4 months sef before it will break through the gum. Just ignore it, it will come out when it's ready, what you described is normal. It hasn't stopped per se, it will break through when it's ready eksbabe: 2 Likes |

toyeem: Welcome ma'am. AMEN to your prayers!! I think you are okay. Contrary to what we are usually told that you forget all the experiences you had prior delivery once the baby comes. Truth is, the memories really don't leave us. The love for our children makes those feelings worth it.....i think you should try and get enough rest, but if you still don't feel better, please see your doctor. it is well with you. 1 Like |

Re: NEW BORN BABIES! Are U A New Mum? Then Lets Discuss Babies Here!!!!! by JGracious: 3:53pm On Apr 28, 2018 |
redsocks: it is still ordinary mouthing although it can be so painful and annoying sef...lol Pele...just embrace it, he will stop it with time. Just ensure you look into his eyes and firmly warn him whenever he does it. That way, he knows you don't like it. 1 Like |

I think it's normal. My baby had lower tooth shadow for about 3months with all the attendant symptoms. I was worried for a while but later forgot about it then one day I checked and four teeth were out so just take your mind off it, it will come out eksbabe: |

omonifamily: Congratulations and welcome to this amazing mamas thread. happy to have you here with us. 'ipin' is pus in English. clean the pus gently with clean cotton buds and dispose.it's usually nothing serious but if it persists, pls visit the doctor to rule out any form of infection. 1 Like |

Congrats ma. Collect seat O, u r welcome. Yes , breast milk is safe for dropping in the eyes. Few drops at a time should clear a mild eye discharge. I did it and it worked omonifamily: 1 Like |

I will advise you take him to the hospital. To rule out any medical condition. My son had same as was diagnosed with laryngomalesia and enlarge adenoid. This is not to scare you but it is best you hear from a professional. wowdiva: |
