Sir can these bamboos be use for beams, slabs & columns for bridges?

Are we talking about building bridges on here? Use your brain, you dolt.

Expand your mind. You have a gademn smartphone in your hand or a desktop, hop on the web and try to educate your closed mind.

What exactly have you pointed out? You are just posting nonsense all morning.

1. How you plan to DIY plumbing and wiring for your project (assuming a 150m2 house) in Ibadan or wherever and at the same time how you plan to keep your Job/biz at you base?

2. Why didnt you use the DIY approach for your garage as Rubhiish ve pointed out?

3. Why are you pushing one narrative and doing something else?

4. why a supposedly "exposed" Guy with "brains" will push a narrative that tends to undermine professionalism in very delicate stages in constructing a home?

I will appreciate it you can answer these qiestions without insults.

Thanks

Question for astute electricians.

What is a "Diron" and "Wreckling"?

I "think" Diron is the electrical insulators on the poles and wreckling is the subsurface wire that takes wire from the pole outside to the house.

Thanks.

Lol...Sick man...Keep on deceiving yourself...
We are talking about reinforcement...Everything that involves reinforcement will be discussed.
You make too much noise & always get vindictive when told the truth! Propagating what u don't practice...
How can u be in USA & your project in Ibadan, u keep screaming DIY? i don't get? For once i have never seen u on site lifting a pin...So how do u carry out your DIY?

Because u are too poor to hire a professional doesn't mean u should come here to deceive people...Always looking for cheapest means do things made u a DIY pastor...

You that have desktop & smartphone will still hire a local plumber to do your plumbing works while u send money from abroad...Why not come down to do it yourself since u are exposed??

Seems your DIY ends online...Everything about u is fake & unrealistic...

Poor old fool...

Thank you, Sir.

So this recline is the black thick cable that I see that comes down the side of the power pole and goes into the site? Do you per chance have a pic?

I'm indebted to you. Again grin

PS: Is this also called Armored Cable?

I enjoy learning these things.

You don't have shame...I swear
U run here to ask silly questions & engage direct labour by giving them peanuts, because u don't want to hire proficient hands to handle your project( I blame poverty though).
As noisy & arrogant as u are not for once a professional visited your site all through the phase of your project. Even when your building was faced with critical issues that demanded physical attention u still couldn't hire a professional for a day...Now u wanna encourage people to skip professionals by hiring unqualified hands because u couldn't hire one??

We won't encourage that here...DIY doesn't stop one for engaging an engineer, well trained plumbers & electricians to carry out proper supervision...

Incase u don't know we started nairaland...Poor old fool...

Not at all, Tower has quality standards as respectable company they will never compromised on the standards set by SON and other international standards. Again that does not mean other can make better product, mind you Tower is an international Company with branching all over Africa and other part of the world. Many Chinese products are not as bad as people thought, it is our people that goes their to compromise the standards just to make huge profits. If you are ready to pay for genuine Chinese products is always there, it depends on your budget.

He actually worked on my project. And I didn't doubt the integrity of the materials used. So I was wondering where the Chinese come in. @ the bold- if he truly didn't use the Tower, he must have used the bolded.

I faintly remember us having a conversation about Tower and Chinese. What I usually ask artisans on my site is which product will they use in their own house. I am quite satisfied with his service and material.

No.armoured cable is copper.typically run underground.not really that necessary imho, if you you provide proper ducts for your cable.the purpose of the armour is to provide mechanical protection. Back in the day, cables would be buried directly in the ground, and would slowly fall apart.

Now just ensure your artisans run high pressure pipes as ducts, and you're good to go.

Also recline is overhead cable and typically aluminum, while armoured cable is typically copper.

It will be serving the entire complex, so about 10 bedrooms.

For the electrical wires on the pole, how many mm are those?

I appreciate the education, Sir.

the one on the poles varies oo NEPA can be mischievous.. the one on my street start with 70mm in some places they reduce them to 50mm..

another thing u can do is call NEPA official to come and take a look.. but i dont think they will allow your electrician to connect to the pole directly.

in my area they dont allow anyone to do that..
