I believe Uzoho will become a top class keeper but i am worried that this WC is too early.

My position is not about his potential, it is about whether he is ready for the WC..

As we have seen, errors by goalkeepers at the highest level of football will get punished. It is easier to get away with lapses in lower levels of football.

Rohr recognizes this and that is why he has sent the GK coach to help Uzoho polish his weaknesses.

At bolded, he is very ready for the world cup.

From what i saw yesterday and over the course of the UCL knockout stages...., i refuse to look down on Uzoho henceforth because I saw nothing of note done by any of these top class goalies to merit their pay and name!

I will not be cajoled or bought over by name, titles or the hogwash talk about experience when in actual sense non could deliver on the pitch when it mattered most.

For christ sake, every shot at ultriech was a fucccking goal. Its ridiculous..... embarassed.. Even Navas was not spared

Last night, it was goals galore at both ends of Alison and karius.... If i didn't watch these matches, i would probably have been brainwashed with hullabaloos... But it seems like i sat down there last night at the viewing center watching basketball instead of football. Same for Madrid vs Juventus match, same for Liverpool vs Roma first leg, same for Barcelona vs Roma

The keepers performance so far is Atrocious, say it as it is... I can't watch such crap from supposed experienced, top class goalies and turn around to say Uzoho is not ready for the world cup. He is ready!!

Read my lips.... UZOHO IS READY!.. UZOHO IS READY!!.... UZOHO IS READY!!!

The day I called Allison over rated, some people here came for my head so much so that someone said Allison was the Messi of the goalkeeping department. And that Liverpool was after him to come solve their goalkeeping problems. But over these two legs, Karius showed who the better goalkeeper is even with some horrible defenders but van Dijk, in front of him unlike Allison who had the Gonalons, Manolas, Florenzis and Kolarov of this world in front of him.

11 goals in 4 matches. To those that doubted me that day, breeze dun blow ooo grin

prior to yesterday Roma never conceded a goal at home in the UCL and when you consider that they played against Barca and Madrid and Chelsea that should tell you that you should be laughing at yourself.

by the way let me ask, na Allison be that guy wey misplace the pass that led to the first goal? Na Allison be that tall guy wey head ball give Wijnaldum? I am not sure I get your point if there is any

How did he perform in that game?

He seems to be a weak link we can exploit, aside ighalo, someone like moses simon can draw him out to commit fouls.
True talk. Not just Simon and Ighalo though. Moses and Iwobi should have a field day.; These players are slippery, Nacho excluded- he tends to struggle when it comes to dribbling and getting past defenders.

Even the whole Croatia back line is weak enough for us to get at least two goals in that game.

Well, I am not surprised. Our boys can compete when you provide them a level playing field; unfortunately, this isn't always the case when they move to Euro leagues. We need to develop our own league so that our players can do away with all those slave contracts they tend to enter in Europe.

O pari

That's a huge generalisation and quote misleading.

Who in Europe is on a slave contract, Ndidi and KC or before them Ighalo and Success.

You need to create context for that proposition.

How do u prove this sir? How can a 23yrs old pass MRI scan? It seems you have information we don't have..

Oga Supernerd has gone into details how this MRI works with bone fusion at a certain age..

And so have I and we have opposing views.

There are published journals as well as the published reports concerning FIFA use of MRI scans.

It's indicative of an age range and not specific of age.

It is almost impossible(very rare) for a 23 year old to pass MRI...

Given the developing country context of poor nutrition, the max would be like 19 years but not more than that.

A 16 year can fail MRI if his bones fuse early but MRI is the one of the best scientific measure for determining age/maturity.

But it's not absolute just indicative add to that racial characteristics and environmental impact nutrition, lifestyle, etc that age range indicator can be stretched.

A Nigerian born in the USA failed an MRI scan in Nigeria. A country with automatic birth data capture that's beyond question.

Indeed Ndidi failed an MRI scan too.

Ndidi had also passed an MRI scan just a few months earlier in the qualifiers.

Ifeanyi Mathew passed an MRI scan in February but failed in September...

So yea, kids within the correct age range can fail the test but even with all our peculiarities taken into account, it is very rare for people above 19 to pass the test.

What the test does for a country like Nigeria is that it drastically cuts down cheating.. We are now churning out genuinely young players.

I do not want to give people heart palpitations if not i would have posted Uzoho's last few games. Even in the game with a clean sheet, he managed to put in a few errors.

Many of the goals conceded in the CL semis were not goalkeeping errors. In most cases, the keeper could do very little and these are high intensity, high stakes games.
