4922 doesn't have good software support. Go for more recent stbs like 4950 or 4962I if you can get it. Go forward not backwards.

Stbs are like wives. If you get a new wife make the effort to understand her. If you want her to be like your former wife you will be unhappy. Like I said I have 4955 and I have never failed to nub a sat with it. If you are not pointed at the correct sat your bars are guaranteed to be 00% .

Please my tstv is not showing again on my strongest decoder stg 9000a.. Only joy tv shows. I use two dish one for joy a and one for tstv..Have they change their tp details

About strong receivers, all new strong receivers are always better than their previous models.. first.the electronics /hardware has been improved and the software is also improved.
The 4955G(4955series) is good but a little unfriendly to newbies.. the tuner is sharper than 4950h.
Also, the 4955 series takes care of all disecq issue; the decoder automatically allocates the right port once you place it on auto,I believe it's the only decoder having that facility for now..
Folks remember when the 4950h came out we all "roasted it and tossed it into the fire"But now a lot of the " cooks" (members) are using it for dessert..

Press menu, goto intallation, the last option is patch, press ok and to biss or powervu any of the patch. But If It Is there then you have enable patch by pressing f1000.

Bro,use Tele Sahel tp(3647v 2170).@5°west to get your Western arc and Arabsat5c tp. (3934H27500../3884v27500)@20°east to get your Eastern arc These are the sharpest tracking TPs.for C-band. For ku,use dstv36° east and Cannalsat 22°west.....One love!!

I tried with 12525v30000 for Astra 28e and got signal within 1min.
This decoder is wonderful and can be used without tv. There is a signal light on tbe decoder that indicates when signal has been achieved.
