I have heard too many nonsense talk about how to build Dubai and Los Angeles in Southeast.
Truth is that those talks are either deliberately deceitful, or folks don't know a thing about how great cities evolve.

The foundation of every great city isn't necessarily building skyscrapers from day one, but adequately planning the city very well to ensure development occurs evenly and future developments can still occur without destroying the city.

Roads and use of roundabouts at every road intersection is critical. Many new African and Asian cities already know this and build new areas of their cities with lots of roundabouts to compensate for lack of power to operate traffic lights as we see in American cities.

The plan below should be adopted as a model for city expansion. By the way, this is Palmas which is the capital city of the state of Tocantins, Brazil. This is their city extension plan and you can see their generous use of roundabouts. This is how Southeast cities should plan new areas for expansion.

Useless jobless old man. Abagworo whenever you are confronted with the mess in Imostate you will switch moniker.

Now lemme tell you for free Imo state is a total mess. Owerri and Imo state at large is filled with illiterates, bad roads, filth and prostitutes.

Here is the present condition of Owerri. Owerri is a total mess that should be demolished to the ground. A state filled with animals where their governor would rather honor BBNaija than pay ordinary salary. A state so cursed that nobody who is not from Imo state lives there.

Obiano's just 3yrs in the office has surppased what the illiterate limping bastard called Okorocha did in his wasted 7yrs in Imo state.

This small jobless boy I've reported you severally for cloning my moniker but it seems ignored by the modes. Stop comparing Obiano an alcohol addict with nothing to show with Rochas Okorocha. Moreover this thread has nothing to do with your dirty and illiterate State. You guys shoukd focus on cleaning up Awka and Onitsha first as they look more or less like garbage cities. Build a beautiful road today and in a week everywhere is dirty and uninhabitable like this case of Nkpor under bridge.

As an Imolite I will continue to say the bitter truth. Over 90% of the roads/streets in Owerri are dilapidated, dirty and in total mess. Let anyone come and prove me wrong. Below are pictures from Owerri. Everywhere in Owerri is dirty and dilapidated. No more propaganda. Abagworo over to you.

At the emboldened. I remember Rochas saying that Imo people are difficult to govern. I know u aren't from Imo though

But I remember that at some point people tagged Rochas Roundabout Governor grin

The emboldened just confirms what Rochas said at the time

Imo state prides itself as hotel and prostitution state but just one hotel outside the state has made all the hotels in Owerri to looks like short-time brothels. When shall we get it right here in Imo state.

I have nothing but contempt for the horde of street urchins hiding under sundry usernames to cast aspersions on Imo State.

For the avoidance of doubt, Rochas is a hated figure in Imo State at the moment.

Yours truly is not a fan of anything APC in Igboland.

On the other hand, speaking objectively, Rochas has performed wonderfully in making Owerri the envy of state capitals in Nigeria.

I daresay that with the exception of Lagos, Kano, Enugu, Abuja and possibly Port Harcourt, no other capital can rival Owerri in terms of urbanisation at the moment.

I was out of the state for six years but have in Owerri twice in the past one month. I was highly impressed with what I saw.

Mind you that I am well travelled in this country...

Is it this same dirty, dilapidated, flooding Owerri or is there another Owerri? Why are we Imolites wired with propaganda and living in denial? I am the only Imolite that will continue to say the truth.

I've told you to stop crying because of the backwardness of your dirty, illiterate and spare parts traders State of Anambra. Ndi Imo are not the cause but because you value money over integrity. Your cloning my moniker and using it to waste your energy on this thread proves Imo as a State gives you nightmares. Just go to your dry Anambra thread and point out where any Imo guy has deemed it good enough to contribute.

It's already exhausted at 37 pages despite the repetition of pictures and flooding with private houses, mission schools, churches and hotels.
