I don't believe cos I tried to unlock this same model, it will unlock and use any SIM but if u restart it, it will go back to it's locked status

Is this for real?

I just bought the WiFi Router and I regretted the decision a day afterwards and I’m looking to unlocking the router.

Is this possible considering the difference in cities?

airtel might be slow but other networks like glo , mtn , ntel are pretty fast
