lummy11: @lummy11, your tuition is 27500 (about 8M using 290 to 1 CAD) and you presented a statement of 2.5M? Haba, you can do better. Did you pay any apart of your tuition? If you didn’t, how do you intend to survive in Canada? |

lummy11: What is your relationship with your sponsor? I’m sure they don’t expect your sponsor to give you 8M from 15M for studies. What did they tick as reason for denial? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by HiSignature: 6:48pm On May 07, 2018 |
I am so sorry to hear about your refusal. As rightly indicated by Newman1010, the 2.5M will not fly especially knowing that you do not have a scholarship. The 13M in fixed account depending on the terms might be regarded as illiquid to the VO, since it is not a readily available cash. Now if the 13M can be easily converted to cash, it might still be difficult for the VO to accept the sufficiency of the cash because after the payment of your tuition is made (8M equivalent), you'll need an upkeep (of approx 3M) which takes 11M off your sponsor's account. So the question will be how will your sponsor be able to continue with his own life when the VO knows very well as Nigerians we have a lot of dependents. A twist to this that can make the 13M closing balance fly with the VO officer is if the account turnover is very high. A huge turnover shows the viability of your sponsors income how how easily he replenished his account even though he might not have a huge closing balance. With God's favor, i have seen approvals with huge turnover and closing balance less than 10M. I wish you God's favor as well. lummy11: |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by DRiches: 6:49pm On May 07, 2018 |
@All, please, my co-sponsor didn’t mention in the sponsorship letter if he has dependant or not. I got the letter from him and he’s out of the country right now. It will be too late to wait for him to come back. What is a way out ?? Note that, my main sponsor can still change anything in her own letter content. I still have that Grace from her. Is it really compulsory that your sponsor or co-sponsor must state their dependants in the sponsorship letter? I think all these questions will be asked during the online application? Are all people that got their visas approved really mention their dependants in the sponsorship letter? @jnyuwa02 I need your contribution too. Thanks |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by Newman1010: 7:03pm On May 07, 2018 |
DRiches: @DRiches, do you think the VO will deny you Visa simply because one of your sponsors didn’t mention their dependants? Why are disturbing yourself? If you feel every other aspect of your application is good to go, kindly submit your application. No reasonable person will refuse your application because your sponsor didn’t state their dependants. No time, processing time is increasing Good luck |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by HiSignature: 7:08pm On May 07, 2018 |
Hi DRiches, In my opinion, the reason why dependants are included in sponsor's letter is to show the level of his financial commitment to others thus, will help the VO figure out if he will be capable enough to include you with stress. Since your main sponsor can alter hers, then i think you should be Ok with her own since the other sponsor is not available to amend his letter and he is even not your main sponsor. I stand to be corrected. DRiches: |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by Frankrobbn1: 7:29pm On May 07, 2018 |
DRiches:DRiches, No Sir! That was not what I meant. Considering he's a co-sponsor and not available to mention/write the number of his depanadants on his letter of sponsorship. You can go ahead and submit your application. Make sure your main sponsor list out her own dependants on the letter of sponsorship and affidavit of support. |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by jnyuwa02: 1:04am On May 08, 2018 |
DRiches: It is better to be safe than to be sorry. Stating sponsor’s number of defendants if any, is a very important information. I will advice you be in communication with your co-sponsor via email or phone and enact the necessary correction to your sponsorship letter, including number of defendants. No, such info is not demanded as part of the online process. If you do not include such information on your sponsorship letter, the VO May deny your application based on insufficient funds because there is never a way to tell that your co-sponsor is financially solvent. Yes even if this person is not your main sponsor, this information needs to be included. Even though not your main sponsor, his contribution to your education may be significant to be a game changer. It is important to cross all your t’s dot all your i’s to prevent stories that touch. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

darryjay16: Hi,log into your CAQ Account and print the soft copy, That is what you need for your TRV Application. You don't need to wait the original (Hard copy) That one is what you must keep with you at all times and would be asked from you from time to time in Quebec. All the best in your application. 1 Like |

sheriff88: Fill the same page twice, including the additional employment history. Only the employment history section needs to be filled on the second page you are filling. I am not sure if the form asks you to include the info on additional blank page? You might want to read carefully. If not, then I am pretty sure that is the way to go. |
