Hi...About knowing the documents to submit my dear I can't categorically tell you this or that but I know the most important documents that comes first are d CIC documents..then your intuition should guide you on other documents to attach because what worked for me may or may not work for you. Just put up a simple and progressive application/documents and you should be fine..all d best

As said by other, I will say there is 100% chance of getting TRV approved after past record of refusals. I was refused Czech study visa and twice USA F1 visa all happened last year. And yesterday my TRV was approved. Thus, don't be discouraged because every country applies their immigration laws in different ways.

Good luck.

A well written treatise on what you intend to study and how that can be translated back to Nigeria as relates to your employment prospects—backed with some evidence, should take care of business here. What you write contrary to Austinpee4 stated earlier, counts and decisions are made based on it. It counts only if it’s backed with evidence. You cannot be making blanket sentence anywhere and be believed. You have to back your SOP with evidence if you expect to be taken seriously. Only my five cents! Best of luck!

Ha, he should be succinct ooh!! He should be better served not to write a story book. Try and establish questions and work towards answering them. Questions like Why the program he chose. Why Canada? Why not Nigeria? Correlation between past program or work and present one he wants to study. Employment prospect in Nigeria with the chosen program and future plans and ties that would induce his return back to Nigeria. Be specific and shoot straight. No time for cork and bull stories.

Why don't you tell us about your undergraduate and if possible employment and its history. Your SOP should hint on some keys points. That will do. SOP/LOE format and tips has been answered by Sirs Austinpee & jyanuwa02

Hi everyone, am a newbie here and am about to start my study visa journey. i need some advice, i recently applied for a pgc in human resource management in Algonguin college for winter 2019 session. i went through this route because i graduated with 2.2 and my gpa is 3.05,
am a 26 years old lady and my brother will be my sponsor, my questions are ; what should i state in my sop as a reason for pgc since i studied education accountancy, will it be appropriate to state that i plan to move to masters after the said program? 2. my brother's statement of account balance is over 10m, he is into bet naija business and owes a bet naija store, and he does other businesses as well but he doesn't have CaC of his business but he has lands and houses will this properties be enough to convince the VO and cant just a statement of account do, is it really necessarry to show income of resource. gurus in the house kindly help a sister.

The best study plan for you is Msc and not PgC.. I see where the purpose of visit comes into play. The best study progression for you is with MSc. The study plan you chose based on your undergraduate will be quite a mountain to scale through. Get a Masters admission and apply with a good SOP. I feel that your other docs are well documented

Thank you tyler, do you recommend i re-apply or i get an MSC degree and do a fresh application
I will therefore write a new statement of purpose, if this differs from the one previously written, will it not raise an eyeborw as per change in intention,

sorry for my numerous questions , just looking for a way out

I will recommend you get your gcms note ... and see what the vo says about your application in full.
Personally I would prefer you get a MSc admission and then improve on your SOP.. Top points had been given in this page. Your intention don't have to change, make it better but first thing's first get your gcms note so we get a clearer picture. About reapplying with PgC admission its a big gamble. It can go left or right.. Regards

Please stop dropping 3rd party link here, you have done this 2x now.

Google PDF compressors. There are quite a number online. Be conscious of the quality after you compress, it might start looking funny.

Please can someone help me clarify an issue. What visa does someone who already has a TRV apply for their child who they now
want to accompany them after they got their TRV. Can they apply for:

1. Visitor visa for a period - say 4 weeks? - will they want to know how the child will return if they are just visiting?
2. Open ended visitor visa?
3. Student permit - though I dunno how this can work since its a minor child and they dont have admission in a designated institution

If all these options are not viable, what is the best way to go if one already has the TRV and wants to apply for a child to come along?

Accompanying kids are to apply for study permit as well if they intend to study.

Admission to designated institution is not compulsory. If you plan enrolling them in a government school(elementary/high school), i can assure you that you can not secure an admission for the kids unless they get into Canada. Even most private schools wont grant admission to kids without showing study permit/visa approval.

""Scenarios
Applying from overseas
The study permit exemption for minor children pursuant to subsection 30(2) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) applies when a minor child is already in Canada.

Visa offices processing temporary residence applications made outside Canada by minor children who want to study in Canada should consider them as students and not as visitors, even when they are accompanying a parent who is authorized to either work or study in Canada. In other words, a study permit is required, unless they are exempt from requiring one pursuant to section R188.""
