He hasn't rili been consistent in SE ,I think Dats d argument, but Ders no doubting his abilities, Dats for sure
Thats the mystery of football national team football is pretty nerve recking and intense reasons why alot of young players usually find it difficult, while few don't.
Yes hes not been consistent but hes young and can definitely influence the team with his qualities thats proven, so why ignore him. Afterall guys like omeruo akpeyi who have cost us games still get thier chance.
The mental strength for senior football is seriously challenging, and we just have a young team we have no choice but to let them grow.

Not that straight forward bro. Kovacic can easily drop back to negate that. Plus Kovacic is superb at carrying the ball.
Assuming they start with Kovacic - Modric - Rakitic as they midfield 3, they'll have the likes of Brozovic outwide and he can always drift to the middle to outnumber us.
I really can't wait for this game. I don't think we've faced a midfield with this profile before. Want to see how Rohr will go about this...

Croatia has been very average in their warm-up games even with these players.

and who was amokachi insinuating to be a coach and an agent as well? STEPHEN OKECHUKWU KESHI. that man nearly destroyed our apex team just because of his selfishness. embarassed embarassed embarassed

you see you do not even know the full story and here you are saying rubbish.

Ideye moved to a new club sometime between 2013 and 2014, somehow he didn't pay his agent his own share of the transfer fee(selfishness). Then when it was time to release the list, the agent contacted Keshi and pointed out what happened, after which Keshi told Ideye to pay up his agent or lose his spot, Ideye didn't pay his agent what he was rightly owing him and he lost his spot, to me that is absolutely fair and balanced. If you have a football competition or quiz competition when I was in the university, if you do not pay your school fees you are out, no matter how good you are and that was what Keshi did, blame here should go to Ideye

When it mattered, they destroyed Greece, not some Lithuania(with all due respect to them). Forget warm ups, the real thing starts when the real thing starts

thank you. All this Etebo talk is because of his performance for Las Palmas, there are no guarantees he will perform same way for Eagles

So, I cannot in good faith, ask for Etebo to start our opening game when his performance in the GwG is underwhelming next to his Las Palmas performances

in about 3 matches of Las palmas consecutively , he has been a shinning light .one of the matches was against Barcelona ... MADE RAKITIC TO LOOK ORDINARY ..... I will prefer Etebo ahead of any of our defensive midfielders to play along Ndidi and Mikel ,the interesting part is that , they re all playing in the Laliga , this will be another advantage for us , cos he must have learnt a lot about them and know their weaknesses .

some Etebo 's abilities :

he can take on player ...
has good dribbling skills , and speed
eye for goals
attacking minded .
power.
strong and he is very dangerous in the box 18 .
grin grin grin grin

this kind of midfield combination will be a hand full for Croatia

he sure as hell doesn't lose the ball more than VicMo or Onazi

I don't rate onazi much but I have seen his impact in the eagles jersey a lot, still finding etebo impact and if he proves me wrong I will eat my words

Vicmo is a star no matter what you say nobody will agree with you,he looses the ball but he score vital goal right ? Common give him some credit

you can only stake your claim if you are given the oppurtunity to, Etebo hasn't had that at all, or at least his has been...tending towards zero. The games that Onazi didn't play hasn't exactly been bad games for us, his impact was felt in 2013 and 2014.

I am trying to understanding the relationship between VicMo loses the ball often and VicMo isn't a star player or VicMo doesn't score vital goals? Did I ever say that? He loses the ball more often than Etebo does, that's the end of the conversation, no carry vital goals enter for dispossession.

club perfomance was also part of the yardstick for playrs selection for the world cup , if he can replicate that form , he will get my nod to start against Croatia ... cos he is young , and dont underestimate his speed against aging Modric and Rakitic grin

Etebo is lucky to be in the super eagles because if I am super eagles coach I will not call a player from a below average Portugal team like fierense

you make me laugh bro...
only a clueless coach will ignore such a player after his exploits in under 23 all Africa games... and the Olympics.

you think rohr is not wise for giving him a chance...in his first match against Algeria he played to the satisfaction of the German.

Pre WC friendly opponents watch

England's three lions coach, Southgate (Pls I mean the "real" southgate not our own resident southgate... lol) will name His 23-man WC squad next week Wednesday (May 16).

But before that day, he will release his provisional 35-man list on monday (May 14), then two days after he unveils the final 23.

I believe we are expecting ours (final 23) close to or on June 2 (day of the friendly at Wembley) or maybe on June 3?

Ah well... time will tell.
