Always show how things should work by exemplary living. Initiate working ideas, be a resourceful and shine the light for your family to follow.

2. Have a listening ear
Always try and hear your wife out before replying. Don't shut her up for any reason. Pay attention to her complaints as this will help you lead better.

3. Allow her to take the lead sometimes
Don't act like a domineering boss. You should give your wife the free hand to take the lead in some occasions and discover more of her talents. By so doing, you'll get to know her better.

4. Respect and consider her opinions
Always allow your wife to make contributions of her own opinions to topical issues at home. Her own suggestion may contain the very solutions you're looking for. Don't be a "Mr-know-it-all".

5. Compliment her frequently
Give your wife compliments frequently. Focus on her good qualities always. Show her how much that you cherish and adore her. Let her know it.

6. Apologize to her when you're wrong
To be the husband your wife desires, you need to be a humble person who can admit his faults. It's a simple statement of fact that no one is above mistake, therefore, if you realize that you've offended your wife or she complained of you hurting her and you know it, just apologize to her.

7. Show your love for her in public
Every woman wants the world to see how her husband cherishes her. Demonstrate your love for her in public. Hold her hand or put your hand around her in a public place. This is what she desires.

8. Let her understand your level of income
Don't hide how much you earn. Let your wife understand what you can afford and what you can't afford.

9. Attend social function with her
Endeavour to take your wife along when attending occasions such as wedding, launching, child naming ceremony, etc. Women like to go out with their husband.

10. Spend quality time with your wife and family
Never allow business and work to take your time to the extent that you'll be left with little or no time for your wife and family. Always make out quality time to stay and play with them.

11. Make her your number one
Show her that personally and materially, she comes first before any other thing or anyone else on earth. Remember she's one with you.

12. Always treat her like a wife
Some people look down on their wives. Some treat theirs as slaves, maids or second class citizens. This is very wrong. You should treat your wife with respect and dignity.
